Welcome to July! Here’s the new photo a day list!
HOW TO PLAY
+ Playing along could not be easier! I promise. Just look at the list each day and take a photo using the prompt as inspiration. So, for example, Day 1 is HAPPINESS IS, so all you have to do is take a photo of something that makes you happy!
+ You can then share your photo on either Facebook or Instagram or both! To share on Instagram, just upload with the hashtag #FMSPAD and you’re done {more details below if you need them though!} and to share on Facebook, upload to your personal page or jump into our Facebook group and share there.
HOW TO PLAY ON INSTAGRAM
+ Simply upload the photo to Instagram, add a caption {you could mention the day and the prompt in the caption}, add the hashtag #FMSPAD and then publish.
+ Check out the #FMSPAD hashtag to see all the other photos. Like them. Comment on them. Be part of the community.
+ Each day a Fab Four is picked from the photos shared on Instagram for the challenge. It’s four photos that have captured our attention from each prompt. Check the feed here to see the photos.
+ To make it easier to find all the daily photos, you can find and use the daily hashtags below. Simply add them to your caption when uploading to Instagram.
HOW TO SHARE ON FACEBOOK
+ Upload the photo in our Facebook Photo A Day group {you’ll be added within 12 hours of requesting}, add a caption {you could mention the day and the prompt in the caption} and then publish. You’re also welcome to share on your personal page, if that’s how you like to roll.
+ Check out the photos shared in the group, or among your friends. Comment, like and be part of the photo-taking community.
+ Each day a Fab Four is picked from the photos shared in our Facebook group for the challenge by our lovely admin team. It’s four {or more} photos that have captured our attention from each prompt. The photos are made into a collage, shared and pinned to the top of the group.
HOW TO REMEMBER THE PROMPTS EASILY

+ You can also print out the list, save it as your screensaver or save it to your camera roll.
If you need a little help with the prompts and some ideas on what to take photos of, here’s a little help:
1. HAPPINESS IS…
Take a photo of something, anything!, that makes you happy.
2. FAVE COLOUR
What’s your favourite colour? Take a photo of something in that colour.
3. MIRROR
Take a photo of a mirror, bonus points if we get to see you in the reflection.
4. STARS
Take a photo of some stars.
5. GARDEN
Head outside and take a photo of the garden {or someone else’s if you have a black thumb!}
6. HOT
In one part of the world it’s summer, and where we are it’s winter… so hot will/may look different for so many of us. Take a photo of something hjot.
7. ON THE FLOOR
Look down. What do you see? Take a photo of something on the floor.
8. 3 THINGS
Take a photo of three things! Your pick!
9. BUILDING
Take a photo of a building. Which one will you choose?
10. LISTENING TO…
What are you listening to at the moment? Share it in a photo.
11. COLD
Brrr… take a photo of something cold.
12. THIS IS MINE
What’s something that you own? Share it in a photo.
13. OUTSIDE THE WINDOW
Look outside, what do you see? It could be looking out a car window, your house window… share a photo.
14. WATER
Ocean, river, lake, a drink, a pool – take a photo of some water.
15. NUMBER
Pick a number, any number. Take a photo!
16. EDIBLE
What’s something edible that you encounter today? Is it lunch, or herbs growing in a garden?
17. PILE
Take a photo of a pile of something. It could be a pile of books you’ve read, or laundry you’ve cleaned, or pancakes. You choose!
18. SKY
Look up. Take a photo!
19. FLOWERS
Who doesn’t love flowers? Take a photo of some you see/buy today.
20. FAVE SMELL
What’s a smell you love? Coffee in the morning? Share!
21. WHERE I STOOD
Where have you been today? Show us where you’ve stood.
22. EVERY DAY
What’s something that happens every day {or most days!}? Share in a photo.
23. SOMETHING BEAUTIFUL
Take a photo of something beautiful.
24. LETTER
It could be a letter in the mail, or a letter of the alphabet.
25. SMOOTH
Think about smooth textures, and snap it in a photo.
26. FRIENDSHIP
Capture friendship in a photo.
27. PATTERN
Look around for patterns. You might find lines in the telephone pole wires, or zig zags of a building.
28. LUCKY
Do you have a lucky charm? Share it in a photo.
29. WHITE BACKGROUND
Take a photo of something with a white background. It’s a great way to achieve a minimalist look.
30. I’VE NEVER…
You’ve never ever, what? Share it in a photo.
31. NATURE
Head outside and take a photo of nature!
