I never wanted children but my husband really did, I figured we could do this together. I had a terrible pregnancy and an emergency Caesarian at 32 weeks. My beautiful baby girl has changed my life. I thought I had to give up my career (which I love), my body, my time with just my husband, but I honestly can’t believe how much she has brought me. More joy than my career, a new perspective of what my body can achieve & create, and a family with my husband which makes our time together more incredible. My hearts explodes daily with love for her, motherhood is amazing, and I am thankful everyday to have a healthy, beautiful baby girl.
I adore watching my little girl grow and see how much she changes every single day. She has started saying mama and it just makes my heart melt.

I love my darling son’s cuddles, kisses and “A-rah-bu” first thing in the morning, and last thing at night. I love hearing my darling son call me “Momma” and look at me with complete trust and total devotion. I love the smile that lights up his face when he sees me. He just makes me melt!
Lying in bed having an afternoon rest, feel a movement near my feet, glance down to see the big grin on my cheeky 2yos face as he crawls towards me for a cuddle. There are so many BIG moments of joy in parenting (when they’re born, first smiles, first words etc etc) but it’s the little, unexpected moments that I cherish most.
I love not only watching this amazing lil human who I made grow up into a big person, I also love learning about my own limits and abilities. I love every moment even the bad ones.

About how this little person will completely change not just me for the better, but every relationship I have with ANYONE for the better. About my mother and her contribution as a grandparent and the way I’ve all of a sudden been hit with remorse for ANYTHING I ever did to disrespect her.
Mostly about seeing my husband fall in love with someone even more than he loves me, but with all our love for that little person adding to our love for each other. It’s that strange thing where the sum of two people is worth more than you could imagine as two individuals.

I love the smiles, the I loe yous and my almost four year old telling me I’m sweet.
It’s the little things that I love. The scribbly pictures they draw, the display ballet dances in the lounge room, the jokes about poop, muddy hands, bubble bath mohawks and so much more. I love the trust that they have in me, the look of love in their eyes. I love their attitude, it reminds me of my own. I love their sense of adventure, just like their daddy. I love everything about my little munchkins.
Children bring life, joy and new beginnings. They bring lightness, hope and confidence to the world. After losing my little one last year, I truly treasure all that they are.

Those days when i look upon my three kids, all playing nicely and happily, when the oldest {4yrs} cares for her two brothers when they are sick or injured, mothering them, when my kids want a cuddle and to just be held, there are so many things I love about being a mum, its hard to sum it all up. I guess, looking at these little human beings and knowing that I created them and that they are growing into the best little people I could ever want, that would have to be one of the best things

I’m loving my husband transition from Mr Tough Guy to Mr Mushy and going ga ga over little baby clothes and toys. His eyes sparkle when he talks about becoming a dad. I can’t wait for the very first moment he gets to hold our little jellybean!
I am 4 mths pregnant and so far love everything. Hubby and I had our scan the other week and we both were in tears with excitement that our little baby was growing in my belly. It’s such exciting times 🙂

I’m not sure if I’ll qualify, but I would love to win this prize for a dear friend of mine who has recently announced her pregnancy. The happy couple are of course really delighted and excited, but she is also pretty overwhelmed (it was an unexpected, though wonderful surprise!).
I know she’s feeling the pressure to have everything “just so” in time for bubs’ arrival, and I know this prize would help her enormously. I know she’s going to be a fabulous mama and would love to see her enjoying the experience rather than worrying about all the things she needs to do beforehand.
None of us close friends are mama’s yet either, so I don’t feel I have any practical advice, experience, or “words of wisdom” to offer, but I’d love to be of help where I can. Am very much looking forward to being “pseudo aunty” to this little bundle of joy later in the year! x
I love getting home and my toddler running up and motioning for me to cuddle him (he has a speech delay and doesn’t talk yet). It’s so cute how he does it and when he’s in my arms he snuggles into my neck and wraps his arms around me so tight and gets such a lovely contented look on his face… ahhh. 🙂

One of my favourite things is to watch my foster babies grow and learn and thrive when they are given the opportunity to be in a safe, loving environment! And to see the magic & sparkle in their eyes when they know that they are loved!!!
What about aunties? Can aunties enter on their sisters behalf? I’m looking forward to corrupting my niece and doing all those delishly devilish things only an aunty can get away with doing! haha! But in all seriousness, being part of something so small, having an influence on their development, watching myself develop in response to her milestones, watching my family change in response to a new little one. Simply. Amazing. I can’t wait to show her my favourite childhood games, climb trees, paint nails, play princesses, or serious work women games, blow bubbles. Ahhh. Its the simple things 🙂 And this aunty will be the one taking little niece bushwalking, so really, I guess the pram would be for me anyways!

I am eagerly planning my second for an end of this year/ beginning of next year conception. I LOVE all things pregnancy, birth and the endless learning experiences child raising brings. I delight in every achievement and new learnings of my 3yo. Parenting is challenging, but the MOST rewarding thing I have every done.
I am 7 months pregnant with our first miracle baby after years of fertility issues. I am most looking forward to being able to gaze at that little face for hours knowing that we made the most perfect person in the world.
I am expecting my second child in November. There are so many things I love about being a Mum. However, now my daughter is 2, one of the best things is having the love returned. My Daughter, Abigail, will come over to me, cradle my face in her hands, tilt her head and give me her ‘loving face’. What I love is that I know I often have done this to her, so having that expression of deep love and affection returned is bliss.
I love hearing the completely random stuff that comes out of my 6 year old sons mouth.
The other day he told me what I was doing looked “complex”. I was doing the dishes!

I’ve noticed some people are full of dire warnings about having children and the freedoms you’re deprived of as a result, I however am looking forward to all the tiny joys that people forget to mention. Just the everyday things, getting to know the unique personality of your little one and their little quirks, enjoying their funny faces and noises.
I’m 18 weeks pregnant today with my first. I can’t wait to show my little one all the wonder and magic there is in the world – things like rainbows and sunshowers, reflections in ponds and puddles, the softness of a puppy’s fur, and all the love in the world.
watching my twins learn new things like rolling, crawling, walking, smiling, laughing and clapping they are 11 months old now and I am trying to teach them how to kiss, the furthest I have gotten is with my son to give a air kiss it is so so cute I absolutely love it. they are my 5th and 6th children and this time I am taking the time to enjoy every minute I can with them because before you know it they are all grown up.
I am a mum for the second time around in my life. I have two teenagers who are becoming more independent every day and also a toddler and a new baby on the way. Having teenagers has multiplied the joy of having little ones. After the emotional challenges of living with teenagers when a toddler throws a tantrum or misbehaves it is nothing but cute! What I love most is witnessing my children experience new stages in life- whether learning to talk or learning to be a young adult. Being a cheerleader on their journeys is very satisfying.

Hi! I’m 20 weeks pregnant, and have preggo insomnia. So I’m most looking forward to a good sleep when I give birth! oh.. wait.. umm and mashing lots of peas. No, really, I’m most looking forward to having permission to be silly and goofy every day, and spend time playing, being light, and enjoying the sandpit. Kids love to play, I love to play! I love that because of these 6 children, my life has so much meaning and purpose. I love that I have been given this wonderful gift, in the form of these beautiful children, to do my best to raise into well mannered, polite, successful in whichever path they may chose and happy adults. I love being on this journey of life with them. They are my everything.
I’m currently pregnant with baby number 3 and unless we win the lotto this will be our last child.
It is hard work being pregnant and having 2 other children to look after but there is no better feeling then bub kicking away in my tummy, seeing him get bigger in each ultrasound and having his 2 older brothers kiss my tummy and talk to him.

There is so many things that I love it is hard to narrow it down. I love seeing my 2 kids 16 girl n 8 boy getting alone so well they love each to bit watching them play, helping each other out and loving one another. I am also really looking forward to having this baby come into this world knowing that the bub will have 2 great, loving siblings. I love watching my 15month old son happily play with his dad knowing we made him! Nothing melts ur heart quite like that. Every sleepless night since birth makes everything worth it when my son climbs on me for a cuddle, or when i finish work and he comes running up to the door! every public tantrum with it’s inevitable disapproving stares and ‘tut tuts’
from “more knowledgeable” people, every poo explosion which manages to leak
through a nappy, 4 layers of clothing, and the car seat all the way to the
ground below, every projectile vomit which gives you an unexpected refreshing
morning mud mask, and every night where you decide what fun it would be to stay
up for 13 hours straight carrying a screaming watermelon around the house only
for them to fall asleep in a position which makes it impossible for YOU to
sleep, means absolutely NOTHING when they give you that sweet, “innocent” baby
grin that melt your heart and tricks you into believing that from this moment
on everything will be perfect with the world J
I love that I get called mummy. That my girls entire world revolves around me and that I get to be their comfort, their laughter and their guidance! They look to me as their world and they have taught me so much about who I am and what life means.
I love that my daughter brings that light to my life, the one where it doesn’t matter how bad your day is, your child just makes it instantly better. I love her imagination and creation, she is inventive and a joy to watch as she grows and learns.

A smile and a giggle always melts my heart – and watching the kicking and bouncing of number 2 in my belly is the most amazing thing!
I Love how they have taught me so much and also given me a new perspective. There’s just so much to love about being a mama. I’m just so blessed to be able to share my life with my 3 children soon to be 4 making some crazy, awesome memories with them.
When my little girl asks for “Cuggles” makes my heart instantly melt.
I am looking forward to meeting our little buddy and can’t wait to learn all the lessons being a mama will bring. Having a piece of my husband and i mixed into a little being that we get to guide through life and bring up into a wonderful young person will be an amazing and no doubt rewarding experience. I am looking forward as to how selfless my husband and i will become of the next 18+ years for our children.
I love being able to nurture, educate, give love and help a little one into this big world, where possibility and new experiences are out there to be enjoyed. The feeling of giving love that grows more each day is so rewarding and it makes me feel good as a human and Mama as well as the little one knowing that there is someone to support them and feel loved.
Since I’ve had my second baby, the best thing is watching them play together, my oldest just loves her little sister so much it makes me warm and fuzzy watching them cuddle and wrestle!
I love looking at my sons excited smile when he sees me enter the room or when i get him out of his cot! I also love his giggles they make me go all gooey and laugh with him!
I love watching my 3 year old son grow into a little man. Everything is new to him and I love being able to see things from their eyes. The cuddles are pretty good too 🙂

I am a mum and pregnant again, I love the fact my kids look at me with love and support and know I will be there for anything and everything they will ever need. To be able to offer the ability to teach strength and courage to my child is truly amazing.
When my son comes up to me and says ” I love you so much mummy” and then kisses me on each cheek and then the lips followed by a huge “huggle”
When I see how excited he gets when he sees new things (like his hands, the trees, cats)

I love that I can see my 1 year old son learning new things everyday. The fact that I have helped him to learn/do these new things makes me feel I’m doing a good job as a mummy
I love everything about being to mama . It is hard work but the rewards are the greatest. Watching them grow and learn and laugh.
The hugs, the kisses, the giggles, the “i love you mummy”‘s, the handmade craft, the love that makes your heart burst are all wonderful. But I also love the hard times and times when things don’t go to plan which are a good reminder that I am human and I do make mistakes. Parenting isn’t easy, but it is still the best thing I will ever do.

What I love about being a mother , that its the best job in the world and I wouldn’t have it any way else , I’m a mother of 3 kids and one on the way , some people might think I’m crazy having kids all after each other ( my kids ages are 4 years 2 years and 1 year ) I have the 4th coming in December , which I’m very nervous about , I don’t know why.
I wanted to keep this pregnancy a secret from family and friends , just at least till I pass the 1st trimester , I just couldn’t keep it a secret , children are a blessing and wouldn’t want my life any other way , from there first breath to there first smile to there first step .
Being a mother and being pregnant is the best thing and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else

I love that when my son is being held by somebody else he always looks around to make sure that I’m still there. I cherish these moments as I know a day will come when he looks around to make sure I’m not watching him do something naughty :o)
I adore seeing my children aged 3.5 and 2 cuddle and play together. My heart sings with joy every-single-time. I feel so lucky that I was able to have these two little children who can grow up together.
Baby number 4 is finally on board and due to arrive in 7 short weeks, the magic of seeing bub on the scan, and feeling the beautiful kicks & movements, Im so lucky to have you in my belly little one.
Nothing makes all the hard work worth it more than your child telling you that they love you!
I have 3 kids, a teenager, a 10 year old and a toddler, and the biggest thing I love about being a mum is seeing how my children are growing up to be lovely people; I can see they will make fantastic adults. I can see in my teenager how she is discovering personal responsibility and compassion for those around her and developing a drive in her education that we take her down the path she wants in life. I see how she looks out for her siblings, she will grab the 10 year olds hand before I do when we cross the road, she recognises the time, effort and money we put into her needs and the extracurricular activities she loves. The 10 year old is on her way to being the same way as her sister, she is loving and friendly and loyal and works hard and smiles at everyone. I love the love and adoration she has for her baby brother and the bond they have is amazing. My toddler amazes me every day; he is developing in leaps and bounds and makes me smile all the time. He has developed lovely little manners and even though the concept of sharing is very alien to him at the moment, I can sometimes see flashes of his sharing abilities. I just love that I and my husband had a big part to play in how these little people will turn out and I can see in my teenager and my tween that so far, we have done a pretty good job. That is what I love most about being a parent.
The best thing is the unconditional love and the big wet mouth open sloppy kisses.
The overwhelming love for someone that you have never felt before. The smiles they give you, the cuddles and laughter. Becoming a mother is one of the hardest but happiest moments of your life!

Teacher – guiding bubs through all the milestones;
Photographer – taking countless pictures of the tiny little cuteness;
Seamstress – tracing around bub onto paper and designing tiny little cute clothes that I wish I could wear (but – alas – my post baby body doesn’t allow);
Fashionista – coordinating outfits to display the tiny little cuteness in matching hat and socks; …
and the best ‘job’ of all: being the receiver of such unbeatable, unbelievable, unconditional love (displayed in toothless, melt-your-heart smiles).
Seeing the innocent wonder, joy, and laughter when my son experiences something new!
The thing I love the most is my kids excitement when they learn or do something new.
I love how my daughter (17mths) has learnt to give kisses and cuddles. Watching her give kisses to her baby cousin and can’t wait to see her do the same to her baby bro or sis who is due in November 🙂
First time mum EDD in 4 weeks and 6 days (not that I’m counting!!!) I can’t wait for the first moment that I meet my little prince or princess for the first time! I can’t wait to hold their little hand and kiss their tiny face and wake up every day to the miracle that we created x Nawwww x not long now!!! :)_
The reality checks.
While you see frown lines, grey hair and cellulite, one soul stare from your bubba – who thinks you are the most beautiful creature on earth – reminds you of what beauty really is.
Then while you stress over your to do list and panic about how time is getting away from you, a quick glance at your child catching bubbles with glee reminds you that none of that other shit is important.
And while you try to buy macro-organic, picked-by-a magical-unicorn produce to give them the best start in life… they eat dirt and snails… AND LIVE.
Motherhood comes with the ONLY judge you need to tell how good you are at the job. Your child.

For me, the best part of being a Mama is watching my usually boisterous 3yo son, plant ever so soft & gentle kisses on his newborn baby sister’s cheek…..is on par with the sheer excitement on both hubby & son’s face when hubby gets home from work and is greeted with a massive hug & squeal of delight from the little man…. Simple pleasures 😉
Me? There are so many things I’m looking forward to. Before I start though, just picture me here with tears streaming down my face and a big crazy grin (gah! Pregnancy hormones!)
I’m going to be a first-time mum (apart from two fur babies) and while I know it’ll be full-on and nothing like I can imagine, I just can’t wait for the whole thing! I’m eagerly counting down the weeks (just 12 in) and looking forward to this new ‘adventure’ (hmm I’m sure actual mums out there might have a better word for it…) with my gorgeous and supportive hubby (he’s a natural at the back patting and fetching breaky). Can’t wait to meet our little one… but for now the next scan will have to tide me over. 🙂
My life has totally changed since becoming a mum just over a year ago – there are times of tears and frustration (from me) but the majority of it is the most awesome experience and roller coaster of my life!!! So much so I’m going again for number 2 – due in November!

The first moment to see my little one – that feeling of absolute love, contentment and bliss.
i am 36 weeks pregnant with surprise baby number 5 with each one of my babys i love the way everything is different eg the way they move and make your belly grow, each birth is a new frightening yet beautiful and exciting time and when he/she arrives i cant wait to count their little fingers and toes, see who they look more alike and how big or little they are. my eldest is 8 now and every day my kids amaze me on how clever they are they make me laugh at the sweet things they say and do and just watching how they grow into little people just makes me so proud to say we (my partner and i ) are the ones who brought them up the way they are today. sometimes it might get a little tough or hard but when that time passes you know you can do it all again and it makes you learn and become a better parent. being a parent is the most enjoyable thing in my life and in 4 or so weeks we are going to have another little bundle of joy to make our life so much more full of love and laughter and make our family a little bigger

As a soon to be mum for the very first time, Im looking forward to the bond, the dreams, the laughing and the tears. Most of all the love he or she will add too our lives in making our family dream. This is a new chapter, a new adventure – but the greatest gift in the world, being a parent.
Im a mum of three and for the first time and nanny now too (only just). I would love to spoil my daughter and her any little lady – and bring the safety and security into their travels in exploring the world, and the 200km drive to my home for weekend visits. Pretty PLEASE!!!!
Being a Mum is like nothing else, the joys and the sorrows. I wouldn’t trade it for the world! The kisses have to be my fav thing, from the sloppy toddler kisses to the Eskimo and butterfly ones, I love them all.
The best thing about being a mama…the fact that it took me 1 1/2 hours to cook a ‘Jamie’s 15 min meal’ because I had my 2 year old helping me instead of my husband who was walking around with our 5 week old rocking and singing to him as he was a bit unsettled. That’s family team work and I love it! Crazy times. xxx

noone really knows how it feels to be a mum until you have a family of your own,the love you have and give them each and every day never stops I am a mum of 4 and have two daughters pregnant and due three weeks apart, so will need all baby stuff all over again to help with nanna duties so my love will extend to the next generation I cant wait soooo excited.xxx

When I’m with my nan whos 92 and my mum whos 67 and my 2 girls who are 11months and 3yrs, I think about my great nanna who passed away when I was 15. Its hard to explain but I get this overwhelming feeling that I’m part of this continuing chain of love. I hold my babies and I think of all the mums who hold or who have held their babies and it fills me with wonder.

There are too many things I enjoy about being a mum. Yes there are ups and downs but the good always outweigh the adverse issues. I love it when my son comes and gives me random cuddles. I love hearing my two special needs girls yabbering in their own language. Hearing “I love you mummy” brings tears of joy to my eyes. Yes I even enjoy nappy changes and PEG feed times. Why? Because I am bonding with my child. Being a mother to complex care special needs children is certainly a challenge. Finding wheelchairs, feeding tubes that break..but its a new form of perfection and bliss. I love being a mum because I love my children in a way that words could never ever explain, and the feeling a love and pride I get (that deep feeling) cannot be measured or adequately expressed with words.
25 weeks pregnant with our first. What I’m looking forward to the most about being mumma to my gorgeous little man is discovering the already growing bond between him and his daddy – a guy I was never sure would take to fatherhood at all has become a bigger “expert” on parenthood than book worm me, and is so looking forward to being a stay at home dad for as long as we can afford, pooey nappies, screaming nights, lack of sleep and all. Getting to watch already the two with their (admittedly limited) interaction has been amazing, and whilst I always knew I’d love being a mum for so many different reasons, this has just made it so much more special.
I’m 33 weeks pregnant with our first little bub. My partner and I are excited to meet him in 7 short weeks and kiss those precious little fingers and toes. I can’t wait for the exciting roller coaster ride that will be motherhood.
It is A wonderful feeling to have a beautiful little person growing inside of you then when they’re born you get to share many magical moments and milestones as the child grows and develops. There is also nothing better than unconditional love from your child.

My baby daughter is 5 days old, after a long 8 years in between children, I am enjoying all the newborn stage for what seems like the first time.
For every spit stain, migraine, late night, new wrinkle, health fright, dirty nappy, washing pile … that first smile which makes it all worthwhile

plus a Maxi Rider Car Seat would bring ease to my day. Our old pram is tired
its wheels have gone flat and our car seats still occupied by a toddler, how’s
that? I’ve asked him if he’d like to give it to the new bub but he’s not happy with that.
I love that even when you are having a bad day and nothing is going right, a smile or a simple action from your child can make you smile or even have you rolling around the floor and in that moment everything else seems insignificant.
That hour on Sunday mornings when they’ve given up on waking me, and headed back to their room to do…whatever. For that hour, being a mama is simply divine!

I never wanted children but my husband really did, I figured we could do this together. I had a terrible pregnancy and an emergency Caesarian at 32 weeks. My beautiful baby girl has changed my life. I thought I had to give up my career (which I love), my body, my time with just my husband, but I honestly can’t believe how much she has brought me. More joy than my career, a new perspective of what my body can achieve & create, and a family with my husband which makes our time together more incredible. My hearts explodes daily with love for her, motherhood is amazing, and I am thankful everyday to have a healthy, beautiful baby girl.
I adore watching my little girl grow and see how much she changes every single day. She has started saying mama and it just makes my heart melt.

Lying in bed having an afternoon rest, feel a movement near my feet, glance down to see the big grin on my cheeky 2yos face as he crawls towards me for a cuddle. There are so many BIG moments of joy in parenting (when they’re born, first smiles, first words etc etc) but it’s the little, unexpected moments that I cherish most.
I love not only watching this amazing lil human who I made grow up into a big person, I also love learning about my own limits and abilities. I love every moment even the bad ones.

I love the smiles, the I loe yous and my almost four year old telling me I’m sweet.
It’s the little things that I love. The scribbly pictures they draw, the display ballet dances in the lounge room, the jokes about poop, muddy hands, bubble bath mohawks and so much more. I love the trust that they have in me, the look of love in their eyes. I love their attitude, it reminds me of my own. I love their sense of adventure, just like their daddy. I love everything about my little munchkins.
Children bring life, joy and new beginnings. They bring lightness, hope and confidence to the world. After losing my little one last year, I truly treasure all that they are.

I’m loving the reminders that our life is about to change: from my husband insisting on doing everything for me to those baby sock folding moments. We cannot wait for this next adventure to begin.

I love waking up in the mourning with all my kids in my bed cuddling each other and I love watching them grow up and go to school.
I’m hoping I’m about to become a mama, this week I’ve started my first cycle of IVF, I just can’t wait to get a little bundle of joy to hold in my arms!

Watching them grow and learn each day. Still blows my mind how this little blob develops and reaches those amazing milestones so quickly.
I am looking forward to moments of great joy and pride, although, I know it will come with some moments of frustration and sacrifice. I will “carry” and guide them through their darkest days, and helped them celebrate the brightest ones. Whatever they do I will always be there for them no matter what.
I love that, despite the long and difficult nights, I am constantly surprised that my love for my children grows every day even though I always think I could never love them more.
I am a momma to be and can’t wait to meet my precious baby. I am looking forward to feeling that intense love you never thought was possible… Until you have a baby. I absolutely cannot wait!
We are currently expecting our 5th baby.. yes you read right ha.. (we have a sweet angel that watches from above) for me being a mama is so rewarding and there is nothing like seeing your child discover/learn things for the first time and to see them achieve it is such a blessing. I’m not sure if I’ll qualify, but I would love to win this prize for a dear friend of mine who has recently announced her pregnancy. The happy couple are of course really delighted and excited, but she is also pretty overwhelmed (it was an unexpected, though wonderful surprise!).
I know she’s feeling the pressure to have everything “just so” in time for bubs’ arrival, and I know this prize would help her enormously. I know she’s going to be a fabulous mama and would love to see her enjoying the experience rather than worrying about all the things she needs to do beforehand.
None of us close friends are mama’s yet either, so I don’t feel I have any practical advice, experience, or “words of wisdom” to offer, but I’d love to be of help where I can. Am very much looking forward to being “pseudo aunty” to this little bundle of joy later in the year! x
I love getting home and my toddler running up and motioning for me to cuddle him (he has a speech delay and doesn’t talk yet). It’s so cute how he does it and when he’s in my arms he snuggles into my neck and wraps his arms around me so tight and gets such a lovely contented look on his face… ahhh. 🙂
I love to watch my children change and grow. I love how they delight in the little things that we forget to delight in!
One of my favourite things is to watch my foster babies grow and learn and thrive when they are given the opportunity to be in a safe, loving environment! And to see the magic & sparkle in their eyes when they know that they are loved!!!
What about aunties? Can aunties enter on their sisters behalf? I’m looking forward to corrupting my niece and doing all those delishly devilish things only an aunty can get away with doing! haha! But in all seriousness, being part of something so small, having an influence on their development, watching myself develop in response to her milestones, watching my family change in response to a new little one. Simply. Amazing. I can’t wait to show her my favourite childhood games, climb trees, paint nails, play princesses, or serious work women games, blow bubbles. Ahhh. Its the simple things 🙂 And this aunty will be the one taking little niece bushwalking, so really, I guess the pram would be for me anyways!

I love being able to do everything again, slippery dip and swings in the park, not looking like a dag as I finger paint and make sandcastles.
I am due with my first in September and am looking forward to a sweet and pure connection with a little being who is my own creation! (With some help from the hubby!)

I am eagerly planning my second for an end of this year/ beginning of next year conception. I LOVE all things pregnancy, birth and the endless learning experiences child raising brings. I delight in every achievement and new learnings of my 3yo. Parenting is challenging, but the MOST rewarding thing I have every done.
I am 7 months pregnant with our first miracle baby after years of fertility issues. I am most looking forward to being able to gaze at that little face for hours knowing that we made the most perfect person in the world.
I am expecting my second child in November. There are so many things I love about being a Mum. However, now my daughter is 2, one of the best things is having the love returned. My Daughter, Abigail, will come over to me, cradle my face in her hands, tilt her head and give me her ‘loving face’. What I love is that I know I often have done this to her, so having that expression of deep love and affection returned is bliss.
I love hearing the completely random stuff that comes out of my 6 year old sons mouth.
The other day he told me what I was doing looked “complex”. I was doing the dishes!
I am looking forward to the unconditional love and awe. Although it will be scary having something so small and helpless depending on me, I can’t wait to share my life with it.
I am pregnant with my first blessing. I am most looking forward to creating new memories, new family traditions and sharing him or her with friends and family.
I look forward to teaching him or her to appreciate life, to laugh, give back to the earth and most importantly, to love. I just know this little one is something truly special. Our hearts are overjoyed.

Well i’m not a mama but I’m just about to become a father for the first time. My beautiful fiancé is 4 months pregnant and we couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait to bring this little soul into this wonderful world and experience the joys of life as a parent. I can’t wait to laugh, teach, support and be the best papa possible for our little gift.
I’m six months pregnant with my first. I’ve noticed some people are full of dire warnings about having children and the freedoms you’re deprived of as a result, I however am looking forward to all the tiny joys that people forget to mention. Just the everyday things, getting to know the unique personality of your little one and their little quirks, enjoying their funny faces and noises.
I’m 18 weeks pregnant today with my first. I can’t wait to show my little one all the wonder and magic there is in the world – things like rainbows and sunshowers, reflections in ponds and puddles, the softness of a puppy’s fur, and all the love in the world.
watching my twins learn new things like rolling, crawling, walking, smiling, laughing and clapping they are 11 months old now and I am trying to teach them how to kiss, the furthest I have gotten is with my son to give a air kiss it is so so cute I absolutely love it. they are my 5th and 6th children and this time I am taking the time to enjoy every minute I can with them because before you know it they are all grown up.
I am a mum for the second time around in my life. I have two teenagers who are becoming more independent every day and also a toddler and a new baby on the way. Having teenagers has multiplied the joy of having little ones. After the emotional challenges of living with teenagers when a toddler throws a tantrum or misbehaves it is nothing but cute! What I love most is witnessing my children experience new stages in life- whether learning to talk or learning to be a young adult. Being a cheerleader on their journeys is very satisfying.
The best thing about being a mumma is being able to watch and encourage the growth of your child. Words can’t express the feeling I get everytime my 3 year old does or says something new
Watching them grow, taking in their first smile, laugh, and movement. they are all moments which happen once in a life time and are not able to be reproduced!

The thing I love the most about being a new Mumma, is the pure fact that I cant believe I made this little person who lays before me. I also LOVE the getting to know you part. Regardless of the sleepless nights and the usual stress’ that a new babe can bring… These are the parts I loved with our first and what I look forward to again with our new bub arriving in approx 6 weeks! I’m currently 23 weeks pregnant and the one thing I’m looking forward to about being a mumma is that first look, the first touch, the first kiss and the first hug of my beautiful little boy! That’s what I’m most looking forward to is meeting him for the first time, that instant love at first site. Counting down the days till I meet you! Love always mummy <3
The thing I love the most is how much my baby teaches me, she’s taught me true love, strength, power, and most of all patience. I learn something new from my baby everyday. I look forward to what the next day will bring.

Hi! I’m 20 weeks pregnant, and have preggo insomnia. So I’m most looking forward to a good sleep when I give birth! oh.. wait.. umm and mashing lots of peas. No, really, I’m most looking forward to having permission to be silly and goofy every day, and spend time playing, being light, and enjoying the sandpit. Kids love to play, I love to play! I can’t wait to sing like an idiot and dance around the living room and laugh at everything. And for cuddles. I love cuddles so now we can have baby-sandwiches and spread the love in our little family.
I love sleepy snuggles and watching my baby girl sleeping with not a care in the world. Innocent and unaware of any of the dramas of the world.
I just love seeing my kids grow. Each and every day they’re that little bit different. Also love seeing me in them.. That’s a very cool feeling! Having children is very special..! Fingers tightly crossed! 🙂
I love the feeling of my little babies under my wings each day, especially when I have both my newborn and toddler in bed for cuddles every morning… The BEST way to start each day. Oh… And having crazy dance time in the house each day!

I love how my son (five) randomly tells me he loves me and how my daughter (3) pronounces words. Im really looking forward to seeing how big my baby really is because im due July 9th and he feels like a monster!

I love soooo many things about being a Mumma I don’t think I could just specify any one thing! I love my childrens smell, I love their cheeky smiles, I love their giggles, I love their kisses, I love their hugs, I guess most of all…I love that they were made out of love!
I love that because of these 6 children, my life has so much meaning and purpose. I love that I have been given this wonderful gift, in the form of these beautiful children, to do my best to raise into well mannered, polite, successful in whichever path they may chose and happy adults. I love being on this journey of life with them. They are my everything.
I’m currently pregnant with baby number 3 and unless we win the lotto this will be our last child.
It is hard work being pregnant and having 2 other children to look after but there is no better feeling then bub kicking away in my tummy, seeing him get bigger in each ultrasound and having his 2 older brothers kiss my tummy and talk to him.
I can’t wait to meet our newest addition and give him endless cuddles.
I imagine like all siblings our 3 boys are going to argue as they grow up but I hope they are the best of friends growing up.
I love it when I walk in the door from work at 7pm and all 3 kids (11, 7 & 3) race to the door for cuddles and kisses while exclaiming “mum’s home” no matter how hard work was or how tired I am this always melts my heart <3
I love that when I’m having a bad day my gorgeous son is ready to cheer me up even when he is the one that sometimes causes the troubles. I can’t get enough of that cheesy grin and giggle and he knows exactly when to do it!!
There is so many things that I love it is hard to narrow it down. I love seeing my 2 kids 16 girl n 8 boy getting alone so well they love each to bit watching them play, helping each other out and loving one another. I am also really looking forward to having this baby come into this world knowing that the bub will have 2 great, loving siblings. Being a mom is so rewarding with all the up’s and down’s it is something that I would cherish forever.

I love that I’m responsible for shaping, supporting and encouraging a future adult. She can be anything she wants to be, and I will be there, behind her, all the way. I love that she feels secure enough in herself to try new things, knowing I’ll be there, to be her soft place to fall. No matter what happens in her world, she looks to me and knows it will be ok. I love that I am that important in her world.
I love being a Mama as i can see my baby girl growing, developing and changing every day. I love her smiles and smothering her in kisses. After trying for her for so long it is great to know that she is mine and my husbands and nothing is going to change that. She has my heart forever and I wouldnt change that for the world.
The best thing about being a mama is my 8 week old’s smiles and constant chatter. He loves interacting with me and his eyes follow me wherever I go, even if someone else is holding him 🙂

I love watching my 15month old son happily play with his dad knowing we made him! Nothing melts ur heart quite like that. Every sleepless night since birth makes everything worth it when my son climbs on me for a cuddle, or when i finish work and he comes running up to the door! Those are just a few of our precious moments. Bliss <3

every public tantrum with it’s inevitable disapproving stares and ‘tut tuts’
from “more knowledgeable” people, every poo explosion which manages to leak
through a nappy, 4 layers of clothing, and the car seat all the way to the
ground below, every projectile vomit which gives you an unexpected refreshing
morning mud mask, and every night where you decide what fun it would be to stay
up for 13 hours straight carrying a screaming watermelon around the house only
for them to fall asleep in a position which makes it impossible for YOU to
sleep, means absolutely NOTHING when they give you that sweet, “innocent” baby
grin that melt your heart and tricks you into believing that from this moment
on everything will be perfect with the world J
I love that I get called mummy. That my girls entire world revolves around me and that I get to be their comfort, their laughter and their guidance! They look to me as their world and they have taught me so much about who I am and what life means.
I love that my daughter brings that light to my life, the one where it doesn’t matter how bad your day is, your child just makes it instantly better. I love her imagination and creation, she is inventive and a joy to watch as she grows and learns.
The most amazing thing about being a mama is looking into my little man’s eyes and seeing his love and adoration for me, he trusts me unconditionally to look out for him. My heart is ready to burst with every knowing look
I love the fact that soon my husband and I will have in our hands a little slice of me and a little slice in him in a new and beautiful little person. I love seeing my children interact with eachother. We have built this whole little family and to see our little girls be so loving towards eachother and playing together gives me a sense of joy that is impossible to measure.
For me, being a mum has changed my life. Having two kids now makes me appreciate what my own mum did for me growing up, and I now understand decisions that she made better. My two kids are the reason I wake up in the morning!

I love being able to nurture, educate, give love and help a little one into this big world, where possibility and new experiences are out there to be enjoyed. The feeling of giving love that grows more each day is so rewarding and it makes me feel good as a human and Mama as well as the little one knowing that there is someone to support them and feel loved.
Since I’ve had my second baby, the best thing is watching them play together, my oldest just loves her little sister so much it makes me warm and fuzzy watching them cuddle and wrestle!
I love looking at my sons excited smile when he sees me enter the room or when i get him out of his cot! I also love his giggles they make me go all gooey and laugh with him!
I love watching my 3 year old son grow into a little man. Everything is new to him and I love being able to see things from their eyes. The cuddles are pretty good too 🙂

Well I have waited more than 2 years for our latest so I’m going to say everything from the first cuddle to the sleep deprived nights 🙂
I am a mum and pregnant again, I love the fact my kids look at me with love and support and know I will be there for anything and everything they will ever need. To be able to offer the ability to teach strength and courage to my child is truly amazing.
When my son comes up to me and says ” I love you so much mummy” and then kisses me on each cheek and then the lips followed by a huge “huggle”
When I see how excited he gets when he sees new things (like his hands, the trees, cats)
My 5 kids smiling faces. Melts my heart ❤
I love that I can see my 1 year old son learning new things everyday. The fact that I have helped him to learn/do these new things makes me feel I’m doing a good job as a mummy
I love everything about being to mama . It is hard work but the rewards are the greatest. Watching them grow and learn and laugh.
The hugs, the kisses, the giggles, the “i love you mummy”‘s, the handmade craft, the love that makes your heart burst are all wonderful. But I also love the hard times and times when things don’t go to plan which are a good reminder that I am human and I do make mistakes. Parenting isn’t easy, but it is still the best thing I will ever do.

What I love about being a mother , that its the best job in the world and I wouldn’t have it any way else , I’m a mother of 3 kids and one on the way , some people might think I’m crazy having kids all after each other ( my kids ages are 4 years 2 years and 1 year ) I have the 4th coming in December , which I’m very nervous about , I don’t know why.
I wanted to keep this pregnancy a secret from family and friends , just at least till I pass the 1st trimester , I just couldn’t keep it a secret , children are a blessing and wouldn’t want my life any other way , from there first breath to there first smile to there first step .
Being a mother and being pregnant is the best thing and I wouldn’t trade it for anything else

I love that when my son is being held by somebody else he always looks around to make sure that I’m still there. I cherish these moments as I know a day will come when he looks around to make sure I’m not watching him do something naughty :o)
I adore seeing my children aged 3.5 and 2 cuddle and play together. My heart sings with joy every-single-time. I feel so lucky that I was able to have these two little children who can grow up together.
Baby number 4 is finally on board and due to arrive in 7 short weeks, the magic of seeing bub on the scan, and feeling the beautiful kicks & movements, Im so lucky to have you in my belly little one.
Nothing makes all the hard work worth it more than your child telling you that they love you!
I have 3 kids, a teenager, a 10 year old and a toddler, and the biggest thing I love about being a mum is seeing how my children are growing up to be lovely people; I can see they will make fantastic adults. I can see in my teenager how she is discovering personal responsibility and compassion for those around her and developing a drive in her education that we take her down the path she wants in life. I see how she looks out for her siblings, she will grab the 10 year olds hand before I do when we cross the road, she recognises the time, effort and money we put into her needs and the extracurricular activities she loves. The 10 year old is on her way to being the same way as her sister, she is loving and friendly and loyal and works hard and smiles at everyone. I love the love and adoration she has for her baby brother and the bond they have is amazing. My toddler amazes me every day; he is developing in leaps and bounds and makes me smile all the time. He has developed lovely little manners and even though the concept of sharing is very alien to him at the moment, I can sometimes see flashes of his sharing abilities. I just love that I and my husband had a big part to play in how these little people will turn out and I can see in my teenager and my tween that so far, we have done a pretty good job. That is what I love most about being a parent.
The best thing is the unconditional love and the big wet mouth open sloppy kisses.
The overwhelming love for someone that you have never felt before. The smiles they give you, the cuddles and laughter. Becoming a mother is one of the hardest but happiest moments of your life!

I love discovering all the other jobs that can come with being a mum:
Teacher – guiding bubs through all the milestones;
Photographer – taking countless pictures of the tiny little cuteness;
Seamstress – tracing around bub onto paper and designing tiny little cute clothes that I wish I could wear (but – alas – my post baby body doesn’t allow);
Fashionista – coordinating outfits to display the tiny little cuteness in matching hat and socks; …
and the best ‘job’ of all: being the receiver of such unbeatable, unbelievable, unconditional love (displayed in toothless, melt-your-heart smiles).
Seeing the innocent wonder, joy, and laughter when my son experiences something new!
The thing I love the most is my kids excitement when they learn or do something new.
I love how my daughter (17mths) has learnt to give kisses and cuddles. Watching her give kisses to her baby cousin and can’t wait to see her do the same to her baby bro or sis who is due in November 🙂
First time mum EDD in 4 weeks and 6 days (not that I’m counting!!!) I can’t wait for the first moment that I meet my little prince or princess for the first time! I can’t wait to hold their little hand and kiss their tiny face and wake up every day to the miracle that we created x Nawwww x not long now!!! :)_
The reality checks.
While you see frown lines, grey hair and cellulite, one soul stare from your bubba – who thinks you are the most beautiful creature on earth – reminds you of what beauty really is.
Then while you stress over your to do list and panic about how time is getting away from you, a quick glance at your child catching bubbles with glee reminds you that none of that other shit is important.
And while you try to buy macro-organic, picked-by-a magical-unicorn produce to give them the best start in life… they eat dirt and snails… AND LIVE.
Motherhood comes with the ONLY judge you need to tell how good you are at the job. Your child.

For me, the best part of being a Mama is watching my usually boisterous 3yo son, plant ever so soft & gentle kisses on his newborn baby sister’s cheek…..is on par with the sheer excitement on both hubby & son’s face when hubby gets home from work and is greeted with a massive hug & squeal of delight from the little man…. Simple pleasures 😉
Me? There are so many things I’m looking forward to. Before I start though, just picture me here with tears streaming down my face and a big crazy grin (gah! Pregnancy hormones!)
I’m going to be a first-time mum (apart from two fur babies) and while I know it’ll be full-on and nothing like I can imagine, I just can’t wait for the whole thing! I’m eagerly counting down the weeks (just 12 in) and looking forward to this new ‘adventure’ (hmm I’m sure actual mums out there might have a better word for it…) with my gorgeous and supportive hubby (he’s a natural at the back patting and fetching breaky). Can’t wait to meet our little one… but for now the next scan will have to tide me over. 🙂
My life has totally changed since becoming a mum just over a year ago – there are times of tears and frustration (from me) but the majority of it is the most awesome experience and roller coaster of my life!!! So much so I’m going again for number 2 – due in November!

The first moment to see my little one – that feeling of absolute love, contentment and bliss.
i am 36 weeks pregnant with surprise baby number 5 with each one of my babys i love the way everything is different eg the way they move and make your belly grow, each birth is a new frightening yet beautiful and exciting time and when he/she arrives i cant wait to count their little fingers and toes, see who they look more alike and how big or little they are. my eldest is 8 now and every day my kids amaze me on how clever they are they make me laugh at the sweet things they say and do and just watching how they grow into little people just makes me so proud to say we (my partner and i ) are the ones who brought them up the way they are today. sometimes it might get a little tough or hard but when that time passes you know you can do it all again and it makes you learn and become a better parent. being a parent is the most enjoyable thing in my life and in 4 or so weeks we are going to have another little bundle of joy to make our life so much more full of love and laughter and make our family a little bigger

even after a full day of the kids arguing, complaining, they still make my heart happy when before bed you get a little cuddle, a kiss, and “i love you mum”.
As a soon to be mum for the very first time, Im looking forward to the bond, the dreams, the laughing and the tears. Most of all the love he or she will add too our lives in making our family dream. This is a new chapter, a new adventure – but the greatest gift in the world, being a parent.
Im a mum of three and for the first time and nanny now too (only just). I would love to spoil my daughter and her any little lady – and bring the safety and security into their travels in exploring the world, and the 200km drive to my home for weekend visits. Pretty PLEASE!!!!
Being a Mum is like nothing else, the joys and the sorrows. I wouldn’t trade it for the world! The kisses have to be my fav thing, from the sloppy toddler kisses to the Eskimo and butterfly ones, I love them all.
The best thing about being a mama…the fact that it took me 1 1/2 hours to cook a ‘Jamie’s 15 min meal’ because I had my 2 year old helping me instead of my husband who was walking around with our 5 week old rocking and singing to him as he was a bit unsettled. That’s family team work and I love it! Crazy times. xxx

noone really knows how it feels to be a mum until you have a family of your own,the love you have and give them each and every day never stops I am a mum of 4 and have two daughters pregnant and due three weeks apart, so will need all baby stuff all over again to help with nanna duties so my love will extend to the next generation I cant wait soooo excited.xxx
I never thought having a child would be this fgood or i wouldnt have waited until i was 30! Im loving watching my baby boy grow and he makes me smile, really smile.
I’m 31 weeks pregnant with bubba number 2. (It’s a boy!)
Waiting to see my new grandchild and watching my baby girl of 28 become a mother, getting to support her now and loving the fact shes turning to me for advice.

being a mum is entirely a new world for me, ten tiny toes and ten tiny fingers changed my days and nights and added a new meaning to my life i see myself as a very important person i mean a lot to my baby.i always get amazed and thrilled at the same time when i see my baby eyes gets twinkled when she see’s me coming from another room its a unexplainable feeling which very hard to write down in words. its a miracle and very heavenly feeling to be a mum and i am truly blessed..:)

When I’m with my nan whos 92 and my mum whos 67 and my 2 girls who are 11months and 3yrs, I think about my great nanna who passed away when I was 15. Its hard to explain but I get this overwhelming feeling that I’m part of this continuing chain of love. I hold my babies and I think of all the mums who hold or who have held their babies and it fills me with wonder.
what i love most about being a mum is when my baby recognises and smiles at me , whenever he feels scared or hungry he turns to me for comfort. this feeling of caring for my baby is awesome..
I am truly blessed to be a mum of two handsome boys. I love being their secutity person. Just being able to see their smiling faces and wipe away the tears. Motherhood is the mist amazing job, your pay is pure love 🙂

I’m 36 weeks pregnant with my second child. This time is a boy, I’m excited and nervous at the same time. But I’m really looking forward on how to look after and care for my son, I’m pretty sure it’s different from a girl 🙂

There are too many things I enjoy about being a mum. Yes there are ups and downs but the good always outweigh the adverse issues. I love it when my son comes and gives me random cuddles. I love hearing my two special needs girls yabbering in their own language. Hearing “I love you mummy” brings tears of joy to my eyes. Yes I even enjoy nappy changes and PEG feed times. Why? Because I am bonding with my child. Being a mother to complex care special needs children is certainly a challenge. Finding wheelchairs, feeding tubes that break..but its a new form of perfection and bliss. I love being a mum because I love my children in a way that words could never ever explain, and the feeling a love and pride I get (that deep feeling) cannot be measured or adequately expressed with words.
25 weeks pregnant with our first. What I’m looking forward to the most about being mumma to my gorgeous little man is discovering the already growing bond between him and his daddy – a guy I was never sure would take to fatherhood at all has become a bigger “expert” on parenthood than book worm me, and is so looking forward to being a stay at home dad for as long as we can afford, pooey nappies, screaming nights, lack of sleep and all. Getting to watch already the two with their (admittedly limited) interaction has been amazing, and whilst I always knew I’d love being a mum for so many different reasons, this has just made it so much more special.
I’m 33 weeks pregnant with our first little bub. My partner and I are excited to meet him in 7 short weeks and kiss those precious little fingers and toes. I can’t wait for the exciting roller coaster ride that will be motherhood.
It is A wonderful feeling to have a beautiful little person growing inside of you then when they’re born you get to share many magical moments and milestones as the child grows and develops. There is also nothing better than unconditional love from your child.
I love being a Mama. The best thing would be watching my children laughing and having fun. They bring me so much joy and make me laugh.

I’m a mum of almost 6 (bubba #6 on the way) I love all the moments even those days where the house is upside down and I look like a crazy lady with my hair all over the place, it cuddles on the couch that make it all worth it!
I love knowing that each day will be full of something new and unexpected — it’s worth the hard stuff for those sweet little moments.
I can’t wait to be a mama, but at the same time am a little scared!

My baby daughter is 5 days old, after a long 8 years in between children, I am enjoying all the newborn stage for what seems like the first time.
For every spit stain, migraine, late night, new wrinkle, health fright, dirty nappy, washing pile … that first smile which makes it all worthwhile
I’m a Mum of three with one on the way and a Bob Motion Pram
plus a Maxi Rider Car Seat would bring ease to my day. Our old pram is tired
its wheels have gone flat and our car seats still occupied by a toddler, how’s
that? I’ve asked him if he’d like to give it to the new bub but he’s not happy with that.
I love that even when you are having a bad day and nothing is going right, a smile or a simple action from your child can make you smile or even have you rolling around the floor and in that moment everything else seems insignificant.
That hour on Sunday mornings when they’ve given up on waking me, and headed back to their room to do…whatever. For that hour, being a mama is simply divine!
I love being a mum, it is the most worthwhile job on the planet. Teaching little people to grow into amazing and responsible adults! Who wouldn’t want to spend time with our little beings? Love them!
I love that every time I look at my beautiful little boy, he can make all my troubles disappear. The overwhelming love, admiration and respect I have for him is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I love that I will always be his Mum and he has taught me so much about life in his short 2 years than I’ve learnt in ‘t whole 28 years.

I’m due to have my baby in a little bit over 12 weeks! I’m most looking forward to first meeting my bundle of joy and being able to guide my baby through life and watch them grow from a new born right up to a happy adult!
