You're up early blogging like me 🙂
I love the crisp, clean sheets on the perfectly made bed (doesn't everyone??)!
Have a happy Saturday!
I love the newness – the location, the view, the fact that you're wihout all the “stuff” you normally have!
I love not having to pick up my towels or make the bed, even though I end up doing both. The fact that if I don't do it, someone else actually WILL, makes it less of a chore to actually do!
When I normally stay in a hotel it is child free. So I love the quiet and order. The special time out for me and that I can do whatever I desire and I can actually think! Great giveaway.
Generally, I would be child free. In truth, I have not gotten away for 7 years!
I do, however, remember fondly crisp sheets and lying in before a leisurely breakfast.
Sounds like pure bliss to me.
I too love the crisp clean sheets and watching TV in bed (which I can't do at home)I has been a long time since I've done that!
Not having to clean,
New views to be seen,
Room service to your door;
All this and more!
<3 relaxing in hotels!
The anticipation and excitement of being somewhere else with different decor and views. Sleeping in a bed with crisp sheets, room service and more tv channels add to the fun!
I love opening the the door and walking in and being hit with the crisp smell of a fresh cleaned room, with no toys strewn on the floor, the dim mood lighting and modern clean line furniture. I love how it is a step out of reality – nothing like my house, and even just one night is as refreshing as an entire week-long holiday…
i love taking the kids away for the night because their joy and excitement about a new place, new keys and new beds to lay their heads, is OH-SO catching!!
Clean crisp sheets and a heavy duvet.
I love the excitement we get from not knowing what the room will look like, how if you leave it messy some one will fix it up for you, you can watch cable tv & not really have to pay for it. & the way it smells so new & clean.
The crisp, clean sheets of course. It's the BEST!
I love clean sheets which are magically made for me during the day – who doesn't love housekeeping but I really love the bathrooms. Those little bottles of shampoo and bubble bath and the deep baths that I don't have to share with Ariel the Mermaid or a plastic duck or huge showerheads which makes a shower feel like your standing in the rain. Now I really want to go to a hotel for Easter.
The way they make the bed – feels special and luxurious.
Also – no clutter or laundry to put away!
Great giveaway! Love the hotel breakfast and the fantastically tucked in sheets.
I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel! But I could imagine the best bit would be… having a nice fresh clean room to sleep in with a huge bed!
It's weird but I love the way that there is nothing in a hotel room – no paperwork, no dishes to wash, no washing to do, no jobs that have to get done. I just love the simplicity of a hotel room but then I love the way the room has been decorated – so simple!
Fluffy robes and slippers, room service and not having to make the bed in the morning!
Oh a lovely giveaway, thank you.
I love the big baths, fluffy towels and dinner in bed that I haven't cooked! I love the opportunity to be lazy!

I <3 the clean sheets and fact that someone else made the bed for you and will make it again for you in the morning...I don't <3 that they tuck the sheets in the whole way around and I have to untuck them to go to sleep..but I don understand that they look tidier that way 😉 have a fabulous weekend. Tatum xx
Sleeping in a bed you haven't made, sitting on a couch in a room you haven't cleaned, washing in a bathroom you haven't scrubbed! I could keep going! 😉
I love the sleep in's in those GIANT beds!
God how I would love a night without my kiddies!!
Hi, I love not having to cook. Getting room service for dinner whilst watching a movie with hubby. A movie of our choice, not a kiddy movie for a change.

I love getting into crisp sheets that are tucked in too tightly
hotel rooms remind me of the early days of Guv's and i relationship and when we now stay in one [which is very very rare] it reignites the spark and makes me fall in love with him all over again…actually i could do with that right now!
~x~
I love the blackout window furnishings.
Wish I could answer this one, but to be honest I have not slept in a hotel even one night of my adult life. Actually, I was only 13 the only time it even happened and it wasnt even here in Australia! But all of the above reasons sound delightful!
JUMPING ON THE BED!! hehe 🙂
Wow!
I like people watching from the window/balcony of a hotel.
I like to see what other people are doing and wonder where they are going. And I love the nice clean white towels.
Like so many I love the bed, I love the clean sheets, I love how tightly made they are so I can squeeeze myself under the sheets and feel so snug, and I love not having to make it in the morning. I would mostly love to stay in the Medina though to save me a 1.5 hour commute into the city!
There are SO many things I love about staying in hotels.
I used to work in hotels, so the treat to be a guest instead of an employee is bliss, utter bliss.
And I have to say, I get a kick out of being a nice guest – I cannot leave a hotel room looking like a pigsty, ever.
But the best thing? White startched cotton sheets. I LOVE crisp clean sheets – there is no finer feeling of luxury.
XX
I love the little bottles of shampoo and conditioner (even though they're terrible!! lol!) And just the fact I am somewhere different to home! 🙂
Have a wonderful weekend x
I love staying in a motel because it usually means my family and I are all together, having fun somewhere and relaxing.
Love your blog!
I love staying in hotels to get away from all the stuff you have to do at home – no ironing or gardening or cleaning or bookwork or farmwork to be done. Hooray!
diannesmith77@hotmail.com
I love clean sheets……and not having to make the bed the next day 🙂
I do love that I can eat breakfast in bed and not worry about the crumbs but for me the fact that i don't have to pick up after myself and two others would be sheer bliss.
What a lovely competition and I can promise you if I'm the lucky winner not only will the stay be child free but i would go partner free as well just for a day all by myself, reading, painting my toenails and wasting way too much time on pinterst
the fact that I do not have to make the bed !
I love jumping out of bed and not feeling responsible for making the bed and tidying the room before I head out on a shopping spree or city adventure!
I love that there is nothing to do – no paperwork, no assignments, no pile if washing to put away. Much easier to relax when you don't feel like you should be doing something else.
I love room service and the pillows. I know, I know that's two things. Oh and the fact that most of them have a bath tub! <3
xx
Having the time and quiet to have a deep and meaningful conversation with my hubby without any interruptions from little people 🙂
I love the luxury!
Perfectly made bed! Fresh clean towels!
Discovering all the bits and pieces hidden in cupboards!
Just love getting away!
I DREAM of a long, hot, peaceful, relaxing, CLEAN bath. Oh bliss. I have my dream fodder for tonight!!
I love the neat and clean room where i donot have to do any effort. It gives me the Feeling of being a queen when i can order just by dialing a number….
Wow, what a prize!! I love the beds in hotels – they are spacious with gorgeous sheets – such luxury!!
Crispy-clean sheets
Buffet breakfast
Being cleaned up after
Room service….
What's not to love!
I love love love hotels!
The beds, the sheets… the gorgeous way they make the beds with everything tucked in perfectly tight!
And most of all I love ordering room service and eating it in front of the tv in bed!
just getting away from normality is great!!
I am a mother to almost four children under the age of five. My life at home is not very relaxing to say the least. The thing I love about staying in a hotel is the fact that we can order room service, sleep in a bed that I didn't have to make, and wake up to a buffet breakfast that I didn't have to cook..nor clean up after the fact. It's like poetry almost. Just the thought brings a tear to my eye. Seriously.
not having to do any dishes!! love city watching from the room and love having the buffet breakfast!! xx
I love being able to take it easy, enjoy how clean everything is and know that I don't have to do anything if I don't want to. Spa baths are an added incentive!
Hi Chantelle,
I love that feeling of just getting away. Staying in a hotel has always meant either holidays or a special night out. Even if it's just for a night, it has that sense of rejuvenation about it. It doesn't hurt if I'm spending the time with my hubby either… then it's extra fun ;o)
Thank you for the opportunity to win xo
I love that it's not home and that it's a break from everyday life! Oh and I love that everything is so clean and perfect!

I love the fact that I relax and actually sleep in!
I love having someone else cook breakfast for me, I love the crisp white sheets, I love time away as a family which for us is very few and far between, and I love discovering new destinations to make adventures with the kids
The thing I love the most is a big bubbly spa all to myself with a glass of wine. Being able to walk out the door into another world , be it a bustling city or a peaceful bush getaway.
Have never stayed in a hotel, actually, but I think the best thing would be waking up without a little bum bouncing on my head while the toddler attached to the bum yells “Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum, Mum” over and over again, and then not having to make the bed! Ahhh, bliss!
I love that I don't gave to lift a finger…. Don't even have walk to the kitchen for breakfast or to the fridge for a vino… Of course the endless supply of towels I haven't washed and the sheets I haven't ironed are a major bonus !

Oh what a great giveaway Chantelle!!
I was dreaming of staying in a hotel today, just so I could get some sleep! The best thing about staying in a hotel would be the “me” time. I would cherish the time to myself and love every minute of the…silence! No crying twin babies, no toddler up at the crack of dawn. And wait for it, having breakfast in bed!!! BLISS
I love just getting away and escaping to another world that's not my own for a moment or two 🙂
I love the slippers and bathrobes. Oh and the little bottles of shampoo and conditioners!! 🙂 Staying in a hotel makes you feel like a Queen!!!
I love knowing I don't have to clean up after anyone!!!
The heavy blinds on the windows so you can sleep whenever you want, the freshly made bed with the lovely sheets, that you can never quite replicate at home and the hotel sex! (sorry but it's a pre-requisite for a night out away from the kids!)
I know it's cheesy, but there's nothing more that I love than a hotel that provides a gown and slippers – I put them on, plonk myself on the bed and watch pay-tv. Totally indulgent… what's not to love about that?!
Crisp white sheets and room service of course.
Block out blinds, king sized beds, the feeling that I am a million miles from home even if I'm only half an hour away… all results in the best sleep that I could ever ask for!
The bath!! I have the smallest, shallowest, pokiest bath! The first thing I do is look at the bath and I have a stack of novels (that is growing bigger by the month since I have had my 2nd baby!) and I choose one to devour while enjoying a bubble bath. Bliss!!!
Housekeeping and a new location. Love that someone will clean up after ME!! Plus I like being in new places, recharges the batteries like nothing else, even if it is in your own city.
Two words- room service.
Love the Medina!
I love not having to make the bed!
This is really lame, but I love walking into a clean bathroom and knowing that I
a) didn't have to clean it in the first instance
and b) won't have to clean it after I have used it.
Oh, and I judge hotels on the quality of their biscuits and coffee making facilities – the better the biscuit the better the hotel 😉
***M***agical views
***E***ntertainment plus
***D***oing nothing
***I*** love the cleanliness
***N***o worries and
***A***wesome staff
I love that if you so please someone will bring you food, drinks, towels, pretty much anything you want and there won't be any “but I don't wanna” whinging, it's all with a smile and they thank you for asking them! Brilliant!
Bathrobes and room service!
I always partially clean the room, pull the sheets up etc when I leave, must come from when my parents owned a motel!
I love staying in a Hotel because if you tell someone “We are styaing in a Hotel” they all fly to look after the kids. It's kinda like a second honemoon and people *wink, wink* and *nudge, nudge*

everything – the crispness of the sheets and eating in bed and not worrying about the crumbs cause hey i dont have to make it!
THE PILLOWS!! I once called a hotel asking where they got their pillows as I had the best sleep EVER!
I LOVE LOVE leaving wet towels on the floor.
I love that it's a break from routine and it revives memories of the last-minute weekends away from before kids.
We usually upgrade to a spa so I always look forward to a good long soak.
oh I love that I don't have to clean up!
I love the discovery of the room… When you walk in, or run in, I just love discovering all the things that aren't like home- the bed, the tv at the end of the bed, the bathroom, the view, the goodies, the hangers…it's the little things in life 🙂
What's not to love about a hotel? I love the clean smell, room service and the excitement of being on holidays, even if just for one night!
I love that you HAVE to relax. There's no dishes, no washing, no dusting, no cleaning, nothing. You can just lie in bed, watch telly, have room service (oh my gawd, room service!!!), and relax. Aaaaaahh 🙂
I have 2 favourites, big fluffy pillows and the supply of free shower caps!
I'm sad I know, I think I'm the only person left that uses shower caps.
I may be weird but I love the way they fold the end of the toilet paper roll into that little triangle. It gives me a giggle and it is when I know I really am not at home.
*room service* lol
I love ordering room service!
I love that hotel rooms are designed as a place to sleep, but so much more goes on in there. Some of my most memorable moments in life have been in hotel rooms – that sounds saucy! I got dressed for my wedding in a beautiful hotel room, we had a private wake for my husband's father in a hotel room, My father met my firstborn child in a hotel room, and the story goes on. They are spaces away from home where so much (or as is very often the case so little) happens.
Oh whats not to love about a night in a hotel! My favourite things are the kiiiiing size bed, those delightful crisp white sheets (sharing a bed with a farmer + white sheets don't = happy me at home!), and lying in bed eating room service. How decadent is having someone cook for you, deliver your meal AND you get to eat it in bed watching TV with hubby by your side 🙂
Chrissy xx
pillows! no matter how hard i look i can never find such lovely fluffy pillows as they have in a hotel!
The peace. The quiet. The cloud like bed. Breakfast in bed. A window to peer out and watch the world go by. A moment in time when there is no cleaning, list making or organising. Ahh. Bliss.
shannonmcalary@gmail.com
I love the clean sheets and the huge bed and all the pillows you get! And that I dont have to make the bed either!! 🙂
lisa x
Without a doubt, the bathrobes!
The beauty of walking into an immaculately tidy room, all ready for me. Having a bath all to myself in a gorgeous bathroom. I love staying by myself in a hotel room!! No kids, yay!
I love having a bath or shower in the beautifully clean bathroom, and sleeping in the king size bed with the yumy soft yet crisp sheets. Checking out every nook and cranny is fun too, its such a rare treat everything about staying somewhere different is nice.
there are so many reasons why I love staying at a hotel, but to choose just one…….I will say….
* room service
Prior to meeting my husband the first thing I would do once settled into my room was order room service and it was ALWAYS nachos. I then sat on the bed having my own little feast.
Since meeting my husband, this is now also accompanied by a beer 😀
Yes please! And I choose just up the road from my house…
Best thing about a hotel is the turn-down. I always ask for that. Oh and using lots and lots of towels (sorry environment). x
I love staying at hotels (especially 5 stars!!). We stayed at Hilton Sydney 2 years ago which was a real treat, was gorgeous!! I love the white fluffy towels, pillow menu, chocolate sundae delivered to your door at 3am and the 'whole holiday feeling' that hotels gives U.
I love how the bath products and little wine bottles in the bar fridge make me feel like a giant.
Oh gosh this is easy!!! I don't have to cook! and I get to sleep!!! Ahhh heaven in a hotel!
absolutely NOT MAKING THE BED! love that 🙂
OOOOh….easy, CRISP WHITE SHEETS, BIG BED, TV in bed & checking out the minibar!!
I love the crisp sheets you always get at a good hotel.
And almost as much, I love the walking away from the mess bit. Packing your stuff and walking out the door… Easy.
I love the fluffy pillows, the snuggly doona and the ultra squishy bed that makes you feel like you've slept on a big fluffy cloud!
I love the never ending supply of hot water, a bed that's made and the sound of silence for more than a minute or two. I also love knowing I don't have to clean the room the next day 🙂
I still find staying in a hotel one of the most exciting things; it's all new, everything's ready to be opened, peered in, peered out of, explored. A new room, a new city, a new experience. I always feel like it's such a treat.
It's like playing house 😉
Because it just makes you feel so special and its a treat you often can't afford with a kidlet 🙂
Aside from the sheets and the sparkly bathroom and the fact that the room is magically clean whenever you return, the thing I love most is that being in a hotel means you are somewhere new. Somewhere different. A change from daily life, even if it's in your own city! And we all need that every once in a while 🙂
i have never stayed in a hotel but from all the comments every little thing is magical
I think the best things is you indulge yourself. Be it on a holiday or maybe just a night in the city with your hubby or your girlfriends its all about indulging. You may possibly pay for it the day after, but its always oh so worth it and keeps you coming back for more!
I love making a huge mess for someone else to clean up! No, but seriously, clean white sheets and a bathrobe are about as luxurious as it gets for me.
Lovely give away!
I like the fact that your away from all the daily cleaning reminders from home and the fact someone else makes your bed is always a bonus!
Clean sheets, room service, no housework, guilty pleasures….
ROOM SERVICE! My favourite part of any hotel stay is always that awesome 'swanning around in my hotel suite' feeling I get when I order room service. The whole ritual makes me feel like I'm in Hollywood! And as a mum, someone else making me a gorgeous meal or dessert that I can eat without interruption, in bed if I want to, with NO clean-up duties… rare doesn't cover it! (I've had room service twice my whole life… in the 2 hotel stays I've had my whole life… both came after I became a Mum. Perhaps it makes me a bit giddy! LOL)
The not cleaning up! 😛
Breakfast in bed! I've only had the joy of experiencing it once before and it was the Bee's knees!! (It's my one requirement with my Fiance who is organising our Wedding night stay).
I love the whole experience… I love having lots of choices but then no pressure to do anything! I also love a late checkout!
LOL.. I have no idea, but I imagine the thrill of being somewhere 'new' would just be amazing!! 😀
I love the peace – the quiet – the tranquility. It is bliss.
The clean, crisp sheets in the beautifully made bed that I don't have to make the next morning 🙂
What a wonderful giveaway Chantelle
🙂
Sadly, but truly, my house is rather old and shabby so I think a place that is new, neat, fresh etc is a very pleasant change from reality.
I luv not having too make the bed after we've just had our breaky in it.
