  1. Roasted chickpeas. I can go and go and go on those scrummy things! Delish AND reasonably healthy too!

  2. My favourite snack food for watching TV with is Popcorn of course. The organic popcorn that you get from Boost Juice… Lightly salted, slightly sweet. Mmmmm

  3. Gotta be Chocolate Bullets!!! Yuuuummm! Can’t have them in the house for more that a day or two. 🙂 And ALDI brand are my favourite!

  4. Percy pig sweets – originally from Marks and Spencer’s in UK but have now found themselves in a supermarket here. The whole family were very excited when they made the trip!

  5. Being good – thinly sliced apple spread with low fat ricotta and sprinkled with cinnamon. And not so good – double choc tim tams.

  6. pringles sour cream and onion or cheddar cheese these i have the ability to put the lid on so i can have some for another day …unfortunatly the lid also comes off so i can keep sneaking some usually leading to eating the lot!!!!

  7. If I’m forced to choose it would have to be Rocky Road ice cream! My son’s girlfriend made us caramel dumplings with fresh cream and I have to tell you they make a great snack on a cold night of movie watching – there is a guarantee of absolute silence during the movie whilst everyone is busy eating. I hate people talking during a movie so anything that keeps them silent is a winner with me!

  8. The ultimate for our family is roasted chickpeas and dark lindt strawberry chocolate with 1 who’s a coeliac and 1 with lactose intolerance we are sometimes limited with treats otherwise its a plate of fresh fruit x

  9. Super indulgent and greedy, but I love Smith’s original crisps with a Cadbury chocolate chaser. There’s something so incredibly delicious about salty and sweet together.

  10. Popcorn is my perfect snack for watching TV but not just any popcorn it has to be the original popcorn from the cinema. When my husband and I go to the cinema I always order an extra large bucket (you can get an extra bucket at Village for just $3 more when you buy any combo pack) to take home. I store it in a Tupperware container for TV watching. When supplies get low I tell my husband “It looks like we have to go and see a movie! What do you want to see?” ha.ha! I love the enticing smell and taste of the cinema popcorn it is simply addictive just like like watching TV!

  11. When my husband and son are asleep I love making up a snack plate with water crackers, smoked cheddar cheese and a glass of wine *Bliss*

  12. Chocolate….. what chocolate depends on the movie and the mood.
Love sucking chocolate off almonds or malteasers.
    Love chocolate fantales.
Love chocolate biscuits – any (without jam!)
…… and of course a lovely bottle of bubbly Moscato – BLISS

  13. Perfect snack to watch tv with…. I’m going to have to go with a hot cuppa & Tim tams… Where you bite opposite corners of the Tim tam to make a straw… Awwww yeah!!!!!

  14. I can’t win so I’m going to post a rebel comment. I love the Good Wife and have been suffering withdrawal symptoms for the past couple of months since it stopped showing here in the UK! And I also use the first two Garnier products, they’re great haha 🙂
My perfect snack for anything is a bag of crisps – which I have just allowed myself to buy for the first time in some months, yesterday. I got home and ate 3 packs in one go. That’s why I should never buy crisps 🙂

  15. It used to be plain carbury chocolate but since falling pregnant, every night i slie and dice all my favourite fruits into a bowl of fruity goodness!! Maybe tonight ill try melting some cadbury chocolate over the top? For old times sakes!

  16. Oooh, I think fruit salad with yogurt and muesli is my favourite TV food! It reminds me of the ‘healthy snacks’ that Mum would make me eat before watching television as a child!

  17. My perfect snack food for watching tv with is chicken twistees and milkybar chocolate…mmm! (I did try to enter just a few minutes ago, but it didn’t post – I hope I am not duplicating my entry, but didn’t want to miss out 🙂 )

  18. my perfect snack when watching dvd’s is my husbands home made popcorn, ok, so it might be sinful but it’s sinfully GOOD!! little blobs of real butter and a sprinkling of freshly ground salt, YUMMY!!

  19. Ha ha I try very very hard NOT to eat while watching tv!! But I have been known to raid the cooking white chocolate chips from the freezer whilst home alone, late and watching tv 🙂

  20. At the moment I’m snacking on Cadbury Rocky Road chocolate, I always have to have something snacky at hand when watching my shows, no wonder I’m not losing any weight! Great competition, thanks Chantelle!

  21. I can’t go past a bowl of popcorn. I’m addicted to the stuff! I love the salty, buttery taste, despite it being so unhealthy. That or if I’m in one of my rare sweet moods, a bowl of ice cream. Another addiction of mine. 🙂 Yum!

  22. Maltessers……. Gotta love the malty, airy inside. Once you’ve sucked away the milk chocolate covering that is……….Mmmmmm!

  23. I don’t have a favourite snack food for watching TV per say, I just go with anything that makes me feel good while I’m engrossed in my show!

  24. Cheese, a different kind every night & I never bother with any crackers, just delicious cheese straight up.

  25. Corn thins, very lightly buttered and sprinkled with salt and vinegar shake (which I’m using sparingly because I think it’s gone off the market).

  26. I don’t have just one, I’m spoiled for choice!! My wife always has a few home made cakes, cookies or other baked goods on hand that we always snack on while watching the telly.

  27. mmmm… tim tams and popcorn with lots of butter and salt!!!! not to healthy but dont see movies that often so like to indulge ♥♥♥

  28. Kettle Honey Baked Ham Chips and Creamy Corn Dip (sour cream and corn relish). I haven’t had this in a while, might find a reason tomorrow though.

  29. I love something to crunch, so chips and dip are my ultimate snack food, except its hard to stop once you start!

  30. I just had my birthday and a dear friend remembered I love Lindt choccies so every night when the kids are alseep I sit myself on the couch with a cup of tea, switch on the box and indulge in pure heaven….it’s just so hard to stop at one!!

  31. I love my popcorn, either freshly cooked or in snack size packs, I don’t really mind although of course the fresh home made ones are more delicious, but oh aren’t the snack packs soooo handy and quite yummy too

  32. I am in love with the garnier hand cream and body cream right now (i’m even carrying it in my uni bag) – my perfect snack food is definitely cheese and biscuits (preferably a creamy brie) and a glass of white and if i’m splashing out a french cheese and french bubbles – they go so well together 😉

  33. I’ve rediscovered the wonders of Twisties – OMG, I’ve eaten a whole packet in one evening and Miss Six was terribly upset when she discovered the empty pack in the bin the next morning, saying, “Mum, you said they were for my party!!!”

  34. Pringles. They’re serious when they say once you pop, you can’t stop. I have eaten a whole packet in one sitting before.

    Shameful.

    (but no regrets)

  35. A naughty but nice fruit salad- a bowl full of beautiful fruits strawberries, rock melon, pineapple ect and then a hint of Belgium truffle chocolates mixed through hmmm simply divine.

  36. Doritos and Iced coffee! I can never ever resist doritos. Or if I’m in the mood for something chocolatey I always go with tim tams or cream chocolate biscuits because generally i can get them to last at least half a movie lol 😀

  37. The new Cadbury Marvellous Creations, they are just so yummy, I particularly like the Jelly Popping Candy Beanies one!!

  38. Perfect TV snack right now is a cup of tea with honey, a few squares of very, very dark chocolate, and a handful of almonds. Nom.

  39. I’ve got the hots for what’s in the box that’s covered in pepperoni, cheese, ham, beef and BBQ sauce. Did someone say pizza?

  40. A mixed sushi platter, all to myself. The pieces are bite sized and I can snack totally guilt free, knowing I’m eating something relatively healthy!

  41. A family bag of Galaxy Minstrels, they are like giant M&M’s but the chocolate is smoother and the coating crispier. They melt in your mouth, not in your hands, as the saying goes!

  42. Love having popcorn because it’s so tasty and satisfies my savoury snack cravings but it’s pretty guilt-free!
