Point & Shoot: Pity Party

Don’t mind me, I’ve got the post-holiday blues. I love coming home, but when the holiday has been so good… it’s a little harder. Plus, I don’t think the serious jet lag is helping either. Oh, and we’ve all got the flu. Ever since we came home we’ve all been moping around like little lost souls. We want our Mickey!

Seeing that I spent all of Saturday in the sky, and Sunday unpacking and being a misery guts… I’m sharing a photo from Thursday. We spent the day on the pool of our hotel in Miami. It was brand spanking new and no one else ever used it… so we were in heaven.

This week I’ll be sharing all the details from the conference and our holiday. I took about eleventy billion {Lacey’s favourite number!} photos, so be prepared for an overload.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

  4. Welcome home! Jet lag and toddlers not a great mix, but glad it all went so well for you…especially the flight as I know you share my nervousness! Our turn in May – off to Ireland. Hope you all get back into the swing of things soon.

  5. Welcome home
Gorgeous shot of Lacey. I can't wait to
    hear all the details.

Getting the flu after a long haul flight is common, all those people with the aircon on a plane is a bit of a germ party.

    Hope you feel better soon

  6. oh no i hope the blues don't hang around too long….

  7. Grand Floridian is an amazing resort! I lived in Florida for 4 years (and Georgia for 7) and have a really good friend who works at Disney. Talk about spoiled – I've been several times and didn't have to pay once! That definitely helped make it the happiest place on Earth for me! It's definitely a magical place. We've done the flight with our son, but he was 11.5 months at the time. I thought it would be awful but he wasn't walking yet so wasn't so bad. Think next time will be much worse, when he'll be 3 or 4.

  8. Welcome back lovely one. Nothing like the post holiday blues is there? Take it easy and be kind to yourself. It will pass. Sounds like you had an amazeballs time. I'm looking forward to hearing all about it x

  10. Yuck the flu sucks. I share your pain – we all have it too. But the flu with jet lag and post-holiday blues sucks even worse 🙁

Hope you all feel better soon and your blogging helps get over your post-holiday blues 🙂

  11. Welcome home! I'm looking forward to the posts. Coming back to reality is always so hard (and often accompanied by the flu for some reason!). Hope you are all feeling better soon xx
