Hot Chocolates and Happy Days.

G

ood morning…

I’m writing as quickly as my hands will let me and then I’m heading out for a walk down at the beach, although I’m not sure I’ll even know it’s there because it’s so dark. I’ll hear it though. And I’ll see the drunks from the night before braving the chilly water and dancing on the sand. They’re always there.

After a string of busy weeks and weekends, I’m looking forward to a quiet weekend. I’ve planned a self-date for Sunday. I’ve booked GaGa {grandma} for the whole day, and Hubby is at work. GaGa is Lacey’s favourite person so they’ll both be happy to be together. I plan on sifting through every email in my inbox, and getting lots of things done that have been on my to-do list for far too long. I also plan on grabbing a delicious hot chocolate from the cafe and sipping at my leisure {without worrying about a little person knocking it over, or asking for drink}.

What do you plan to do this weekend?

I better run before I run out of time to fit a walk in before work. Have a lovely day, and a relaxing weekend. I’ll see you on Monday.
Don’t forget to get your camera out for Point & Shoot. If you don’t know what I’m talking about just grab your camera and take a photo of part of your weekend. Come back on Monday and share it with us. Super easy, and super fun.

  1. Ah yum, hot chocolate! I plan to get lots of uni work done, eat lots of chocolate, have lots of cuddles with my boy, and (hopefully) drink some yummy cocktails with my girls. Enjoy your self-date! You deserve it xx

  2. I am planning the same for my weekend – want to reply to every email in my inbox, write a few blogs (and research some new ones!), and tick a number of things off my To Do List – and if you are lucky I might do my first Point and Shoot!

  3. I love an early morning walk. There's something so magical about that time of day, don't you think?

Have a fabulous day on Sunday. Make sure you get an extra large mug of hot chocolate. xxx

PS. We're getting an EOS5. I'm SO excited.

  4. I had an amazzzing hot chocolate yesterday at Lindt cafe – hope u enjoy x
I will be doing tonnes of uni work and having no life – boo 🙁

  5. That cup of hot chocolate makes me to float on clouds of marshmallow.
Hope you destroy that to do list on Sunday so you get some chill time in there as well. I am in need of a self date, must move that to the top of my list.
Jam packed weekend for us. House hunting, my bestie is down from Brisbane and I haven't seen her in months and just found out that the in laws are rushing off to Portugal because Phil's grandma is gravely ill.
So I am going to take a deep breath because I get a feeling there will be no time to breath over the next few days.

  6. Tonight I am driving to Melbourne to pick Hubby up from work then dinner and off to see Xavier Rudd. We rarely go out alone so I'm so excited.
Have a great day by yourself!

  7. Loving the weekend – It's another long weekend in Sunny Q. L. D. Bless. Have heaps of plans. Mostly, I'm going to be enjoying my last EVER point & shoot (finally) without my new DSLR. Woooo.

Watch out FMS – Here I come.

  8. I really love the idea of a date-myself day and I've been thinking about it since you last mentioned it, but I can't seem to organise myself….. Maybe in May.

  9. Seeming its the start of a new month I am going to kickstart my fitness and weightloss again! April has been a bad month for putting on weight. So my efforts will be spent exercising with my family! Have a great one!

  10. I loooove hot chocolate. I can tell a good one pretty much from the moment it's placed in front of me. Hope you get a goody.

We had soccer this morn (Sat), and this arvo I'm reading some blogs. We'll get some stuff out for a big general clean up. Finally – I'll get rid of some unwanted items around the house!

Sunday should be relaxed with no plans as yet. Just the way I like it.

Have a great weekend Chantelle – esp Sunday!

  11. i just realized you were taking a walk in the morning. but you did say it was still dark. and so my chicken-ness would still stand.

  12. Oh! I am so super excited for you and your date : ). Gaga sounds like a perfect babysitter : )

We had the most marvelous day…well, except for the fact that the car broke down. Other than that though, it was pure perfection 🙂

I hope it all works out wonderfully and your hot chocolate is delicious.
