Good news week

It’s been an exciting week here. On Tuesday I got an email to say that I was picked as one of the 10 bloggers to join Problogger for a week in Queensland. I’m the only Aussie blogger who’ll be attending, other than Darren himself, and I was so excited to see that there are a bunch of mums going too. We can all miss our families together. Cocktails in hand, of course. You can read a bit more about it on News.com.au.

Earlier in the week I also got to be on TV with Keith, Delta, Joel and Seal. Well, kinda. My tweet made it onto the hit TV show The Voice. I missed it because I was too busy yakking to Hubby, but thankfully a reader sent me the photo. Thanks Stephanie.

    My good news this week was that i had a baby girl! her name is Minty and she delicious
    i wrote about my very speedy birth on the blog too, she was in a hurry to get here 🙂 We are all happy and in love right now and her big brother Iggy is very proud 🙂

  14. It's my birthday today! It's almost lunchtime which means half the day has gone – which isn't such a good thing but means that work is almost finished and the weekend is coming!

  16. WOWOWOWOW! Congrats to you that is amazing news. I just happened to see the problogger link on my facebook feed from my sis and I was like “is that fms!?”. Had to pop over here straight away and see for myself. Congrats again.

    My week turned from an average into a good news week a few hours ago. I got a message that I'm one of 50 lucky ones who get to try a new Tamron-lens.

  31. Wow, congratulations and enjoy! My good news is that we're having family pics taken tomorrow. Sounds cheesy, but our girl is almost two and we've never done it! Can't wait to have professionally taken happy snaps.

  32. Congratulations you will have an amazing time. The highlights of the past week was that Rafferty was back to his birth weight and we had the most precious newborn photos taken of him xx

  37. Congrats!! So excited that a fellow iphoneographer and blogger is going!! I saw a case that lets you take the iphone under water- will have to send you the link, so you can snap some underwater coral shots!

    Three fun things happened for me on Monday. After realising that my son had left his shoes in the park at Kenilworth I drove the 80km round trip to get them. They were still there sitting by the tree. (phew!). On the way I saw a dragon by the side of the road, and whipped out my phone for proof (yes I really did- one made out of garden shade cloth no less but still a giant dragon). Then I went to the op shop and found two pairs of amazing boots for $3 and $5 for my Fox in Flats boot dare 🙂

    Happy days….

    My good news is that my boyfriend and I just put an offer on our first house… hopefully it works out for us! We are so excited to buy our first home together 🙂

    My good news for the week – my 1yo son was released from hospital after a cord blood transplant operation. We were in hospital for 5 weeks in total – 1 week of chemo, then the transplant, then 4 more weeks, in which time my little man became stronger and stronger. 5 weeks away from home and it was so nice to be back. We had expected to be in hospital for somewhere between 8 to 10 weeks!

  45. Haha, the sole purpose that I joined twitter a week ago was so that I could get a tweet onto The Voice!! My roomates and I are locked in a heated battle to be the first one to get a tweet onto a TV screen 🙂 Congratulations to you!! I'll try again tonight.
