At what time do you normally go to bed?
I’m a night shift worker so bedtime for me is anywhere from 4am to 7am, depending on what I have planned the next day. Last Friday when I had plans to meet some girls for coffee at 10am I had no sleep beforehand, and had a nap around 3pm!

Have you ever forged someone’s signature?
Yes, my Mum’s so I could get out of PE (I guess I’ve always been lazy!)

Why did you last talk to a police officer?
I had found an intruder in our house! He had got in through the front door (by making a hole in the screen door) and was rummaging through my gym bag (of all places) on our spare bed. I yelled at him to get out and then I called the Police.

Do you know any card tricks?
No I don’t know any tricks! And actually I’m not a fan of tricks either.

Are you addicted to anything?
Diet coke. I’m probably not addicted, but I refuse to live without it. It’s my one true vice.

What’s your all time favourite meal?
At the moment it is Japanese: oysters with ponzu dressing, green tea noodle salad, tempura prawns, spider rolls and teriyaki chicken. I share all of that with my husband!

How do you deal with unwanted salespeople on the phone or at the door?
I usually start out by being very polite, listening to what they are selling, but then I have to get quite persistent when I’m not interested and they aren’t taking no for an answer. If it’s for a utility (electricity or phone) I just say the bill isn’t in my name and I have no authority.

A good looking stranger at the beach asks you to rub sunscreen on them – yes or no?
No. I’m not a touchy person and I even hate the thought of rubbing sunscreen into a friend or relative. I’m sure I would do it if they (friend or relative) asked, but I wouldn’t like it!

Would you tell a friend if their breath smelt?
No. I should tell them because I would appreciate being told.

When did you last ride in a taxi?
Saturday night on the way home from a wedding. It was a thirty five minute ride shared with my husband, my sister and her partner. I was pretty drunk and tipped the driver quite heavily!

Thanks Kir. I can’t believe you had a robber in your house. Scary stuff! x

  1. A great read 🙂 lots to learn about the gorgeous Kir. How freaky about the intruder!!! LOL at him thinking your gym bag was the place to look!

  2. I used to forge my mother’s signature to get out of PE too! That is, until I got busted…I think they got suspicious when every week I was saying I had “stomach cramps” from you know what! How silly I was!

  3. Thanks for including me Telle!

I forgot that the scariest part about the intruder episode was that it was a really hot day, like 40 deg, and we’d Bern out back in our (inflateable) pool. I’d come in and taken my swimmers off and was sitting on the lounge only wrapped in a towel!
When Chris came out to see what was going on – he was naked! And withou thinking just ran out the front to see where he went! I had to remind him to put clothes on.
