Competition: Jet off for a weekend in Paris. Oh yes!

This is a sponsored post for Blue Illusion.

When I grow up I want to go to Paris. It’s on my bucket list. I’m so predictable but I’d like to eat pastries, visit the Eiffel Tower and pretty much go photo-taking crazy on Instagram. Can you imagine all the photo-worthy moments there would be?

But it does raise the question, what would one wear? I’m pretty sure that about 90% of my wardrobe choices wouldn’t be good enough for Paris. I’ll just have to go shopping I guess. That is when I eventually grow up and book that trip.

For one lucky person though, they don’t have to grow up at all. They can win a weekend in Paris now. Blue Illusion, the French inspired fashion range that caters for women of all sizes, is giving up a trip to fancy France valued at $10,000. Their recent Spring/Summer campaign was inspired by the French impressionist art movement so to celebrate they’ve put together the perfect French-flavoured prize.

photoThe team at Blue Illusion sent me five pieces to try out {and pack for Paris if I ever grow up}. You can see three of the pieces above, plus I’m wearing a beautiful maxi dress as I type, and I also got the black pants that the model is wearing above. I have to say that the quality is out of this world. I’m growing tired of the disposable fashion that seems to be crowding my wardrobe {you know one wear and it falls apart?} but these are good quality and beautiful. Definitely Paris-worthy! I love this dress that Nikki tried too, don’t you?

Back to Paris and getting you there. All you have to do to be in the running is head over to their site {click here} or click the image below and share how you’d spend a weekend in Paris. What would you do? Eat pastries? Take photos? Shop? Drink champagne?

  1. I’d take my 8 yo daughter, that’s been her biggest dream since she first heard of the Eiffel Tower. Champagne, Notre Dame, centre pompidou, a boat trip on Seine, le Louvre, shopping, Oh la la, it would be très bien :)…

  2. Before kids, my husband and I liked to travel and visited Paris twice. Our last time was for our 10th wedding anniversary 7 years ago, I’d love to take hubby back for our wedding annivesary this year (in November) and eat at our favourite restaurant, visit the Eiffel Tour and wander around our favourite museums. Be great to take our girls (2 & 4) as they love looking at our Paris pictures that hang above our bed, and yell out “Paris Paris”.

  3. I would do all the touristy things like visit Notre Dam , eiffel tower, Louvre etc. And then find a quaint little coffee shop in a little Paris alley and sit and drink coffee while eating lovely French bread. Heaven!!!!!

  4. I would sleep in, visit a gallery or 10 and go out late into the night. I didn’t see much of Paris by night when we were there a few years ago (pregnant and very sore!) and would love to. Also, drink champagne. A lot of champagne. And convince my bestie she should come over from London for the weekend. I love Paris so much. This collection looks beautiful.

  5. Yes I would love to go to Paris when i grow up as well, enjoy your lovely new clothes you deserve them ,I like that kaftan one it looks pretty and yes I did love the blue dress on Nikki!

  6. What would I do in Paris for 48 hours. Not sleep at all – that is what the plane will be for! For starters I would start the day with a cafe au latte and croissant from a cute little sidewalk bistro, then to put my feet into walking gear, camera up and the mesmerising moments to start. The Eiffel Tower, Louvre Museum, Cathedral of Notre-Dame. Visiting the Marche des Enfants to pick up some delectable treats for lunch before continuing on to see Arc de Triomphe, Avenue Montaigne for some shopping, then the Pompidou at night in the twilight bar. Also would have to visit Le Maurice for a gastronomical delights, and of course I would have to stop at Jean-Paul Heavin for his macarons and bring a few boxes home ( if I don’t eat them all on the plane first…)

  7. I would absolutely enjoy the scenery of this city , enjoy the good food, the culture. OH, france. A lovely country.. What would you don’t do there?? There is alot to do, shopping, share with the native people of there, taking a tour to see the most beautifull places there, take some picture to take home and every time I see them remember the good experience I had there and remember how I made my dream of Paris came true.
In LOVE with Paris.<3 MY DREAM 🙂

  8. Eat, drink, shop , picnic , dance , eat, drink and take the odd photo. Not too many to be distracted , I just want to indulge in the moment.
