A final Point & Shoot: T-bone

Gather ’round. Let’s have a collective coo & sigh over how cute this little fella is, shall we? Coo, sigh, aww.

We traveled south this weekend to the place where I grew up to spend time with my Lil Sis, her boyfriend and {when he could muster up the effort the morning after the night before to see us} my brother too.

This week we welcomed T-bone to the {extended} family. He’s small, yet feisty… and Lacey adores him. He’s like a little child really. We went to watch my sister’s boyfriend play football and I had to laugh as my exhausted sister got frustrated with how consuming it was to care for something so small.

He ran himself ragged for hours, and then promptly fell asleep in our arms after he’d worn himself, and us, all out.

Doesn’t he look like a deep soul? Lacey and I are clucky for our own little dog, but we know it’s not fair with a yard as small as ours. Perhaps one day!

In big news, from today forward Point & Shoot will be hosted by the lovely {and totally talented!} Lou of Sunny & Scout. I’ve loved growing Point & Shoot from a small dream into a real, and thriving blogging community and felt it was time for it to have a new home. I’m actually pathetically teary as I write this, as I feel sad that I’m passing it on, but I also feel that it’s the right time for it to happen.

I hope you’ll head on over and share your Point & Shoot on Lou’s blog. I’ll play too from time to time, and love checking on all your photos. Thank you to everyone for playing along each week. It’s brought me much joy over the year.

As for you, my friend, how was your weekend? Did it happen to involve puppy dogs, football games and old friends like my weekend?

  1. Aww cute!! Very sad to hear that you won't be hosting Point & Shoot anymore, but looking forward to playing over at Lou's blog.

My weekend involved zero puppy dogs and zero footy games, but it was sunny, fun and relaxing anyway.

    Have a great week! xxx

  2. Oh my goodness, that is one seriously cute puppy! Our weekend involved taking our pup and baby up to a friends new farm for a BBQ and some good old country fresh air! And 9 loads of washing! xx

  3. The little doggie is so cute :). Too bad you won't be hosting point and shoot any more. It's so much fun. Since I just got the hang of it, I'll keep playing for a while. Looking forward to read more from you. Thanks for your sweet comments. Have a great week – maks 🙂

  4. So so cute (and really beautiful photos too – well done!)…Sunny and I are also clucky for a dog, but are patiently waiting for Daddy's approval. Maybe we'll have to get him a puppy for his birthday – then he can't say no!

    xx

Boo your not hosting P&S anymore! Thanks for finding someone else to do it and for starting such a fun way to interact with fellow bloggers. Its been a great way for me to meet others and I really appreciate the kindness you show in thinking of others x

  8. I can see how T-Bone has you yearning for a puppy, what a little spunk he is.
Our weekend was quiet, but a little anxious as Miss Sadie is in indies full time!!!!!

Oh why do I feel so sad that you are no longer hosting point and shoot, it almost feels like I'm moving far away from a friend, a bit dramatic but I think you get my drift. I'm so happy p&s has a worthy home though, Lou's blog is lovely and very inspiring.
Thank you for all the fun times that point and shoot has brought, it's probably the one thing that keeps me blogging regularly.
Much love and big kisses xoxo
