Slow cooker chicken soup


MAKE CHICKEN SOUP IN THE SLOW COOKER
Pop this chicken soup into your slow cooker, and enjoy the comfort. Chicken soup makes everything better, and this one has all the comfort with pasta in it, and the dash of miso takes the flavour up a notch.

SLOW COOKER CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP RECIPE

INGREDIENTS
1 onion, chopped
2 carrots, sliced
2 stalks celery, diced
4 cups chicken stock
500g chicken lovely legs
2 cups pasta shells
1 tablespoon of white miso paste
salt and pepper to taste
1 handful parsley, chopped
Grated parmesan, to serve

METHOD
1. Place all of the ingredients, except the pasta, miso paste, salt and pepper and parsley into your slow cooker. Cook in high for 4 hours, or low for 6-8 hours.
2. Remove the chicken lovely legs from the soup once cooked, and remove the meat from the bones and shred the meat. Return to the soup. Add the pasta to the soup and cook for another hour on high. Add in the miso paste and stir through.
3. Serve with parsley and Parmesan.
