Thank you.

Fat Mum Slim /

I don’t really know where to start. I guess I’ll start with Thank You.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for being part of this beautiful community. Thank you for being you.

This year has been an interesting one. Like most, I imagine, it’s been a rollercoaster ride of ups and downs. Many I’ve documented here and shared over on Facebook or Instagram. Something I haven’t shared, is that I’ve felt a lot of overwhelm this year. It’s been too weird to write about, but I have so many blog posts in my head that I’ve wanted to write, and my brain has been begging for me to put down but I’m suffered by fear paralysis. I couldn’t get the words out, because I worry by how people will respond {sometimes the internet can be unkind, don’t you think? But I know you guys are lovely, so I don’t know what I’m so worried about}. My goal is to start sharing more. I want to just hit publish and write down my thoughts more. The internet has become this place of polished ideas and perfection, that I felt not good enough to share everything.

I think the world still needs ramblings and storytelling.

So, I am taking a break at the end of this week. My brain has been burnt out for a little while now {OK, a long while} and I’m ready to take a few weeks off and head back before the new year to count it in with you guys.

I just wanted to say thank you, and wish you all a magical Christmas. I hope 2018 is kind to you, and brings lots of beautiful moments for you. I’ve been working on something that I am so super proud of that I know you’re going to love, and I’ll reveal more of that in late January {I so badly want to just blurt it out, but it’s not quite ready}.

A million times thank you for being the best community on the internet. See you soon. xx

  • Metry christmas. I have felt that same way this year- all the thoughts and blog post ideas but paralysis and overwhelm standing in the way so i mostly stayed quiet. Here is to a wonderful year ahead xx

I’m not a blogger or writer of any sorts, but if you have ideas and stories to tell that are in your head, why don’t you just right them down? Blurt them out, do dot points, scribble them on the wall? They don’t have to be perfect or published straight away, just written down and out of your head. Have you read Harry Potter? The Headmaster has a sieve, and he can take thoughts out of his head and puts them in a bowl, to clear his head. Very handy!
