Photo A Day | Week Three | January 2015

Happy Sunday! I hope you’ve had pancakes and are all rested up. For those of you who are still stuck on Saturday, I can tell you that Sunday smells good and is something to look forward to.

I’m popping up in your Facebook feed/inbox/internet today to share the list for week three of photo a day. I hope you like it. This week’s list is designed by my beautiful and clever friend Emma, of Emma Kate Co. Emma and I cooked up two sets of Scatter Love last year, and are planning more beautiful things this year. If you’re looking for inspiration in your Instagram feed, I would definitely put Emma on your must-follow list.

Without any further ado, here’s the list for week 3…

How to remember what the prompts are

+ If you’re a lucky iPhone or iPad owner, you can use the Little Moments App to remind you of what the prompts are, as well as make your photos a bit fancy. You can grab the App here.
+ For all devices and PC, we upload the prompts which you can download automatically into your phone or PC calendar. For Smartphones & Mac Calendar, click here. For HTML for web viewing, click here.
+ You can also print out the list, save it as your screensaver or save it to your camera roll.
A little more about the prompts

Some people like a little help with the prompts, and interpreting them into a photo. There are no rules so take a photo of whatever you like, interpreting the prompt into whatever you will. Here’s what I was thinking when I created the list:

12. Bright
Find something bright as you go about your day today, perhaps the sun, perhaps something bright in colour… you pick.
13. Lucky number
What’s your lucky number? Find it and shoot it.
14. New
A new baby? Something you bought? A new building? A growing plant? Find something new and share it.
15. Old
Not new, but old. Find something that has aged a little bit and share it. Grandma will do!
16. Nature
Step outside and explore. You could take a photo of anything you see that’s part of nature.
17. Jump
Have a little fun. You could take a photo of someone jumping, or take a photo as you jump yourself.
18. Today is…
What does today mean to you? Is it a day of rest? A day of fun? A day of work? A day of celebrating?

Have fun playing along. x

  1. I want to echo the thank you for the calendar option. I didn’t realize we could add the prompts to Google calendar. I won’t be able to forget them now 😀
