Argh! You know those post-holiday weeks? When you’ve had a blissed-up, relaxing time and then you get back to normal life and the tension slowly returns to your shoulders? Yeah, that.
After the peacefulness of last week this week has been rather noisy. Noisy in the real sense, and busy noisy. Lots of emails, Skype messages, knocks on the door {with parcels for the Kidspot Top 50 Bloggers party next week}, people noise {Hubby is still on holidays} and general busy stuff.
Today is the first day in a long while that I’ve been alone, and just quietly {oh so quietly} I am enjoying it. It’s perfect for green tea drinking, to-do list ticking off and getting stuff done.
How was your week? How would you describe it in one word?
if i could pick one word, i think it would be…grateful. while things are busy after my break from school, i'm grateful to be where i am 🙂
Aww. x

Refreshed!
I had a much better week compared to last. Got a new hair trim + colour to perk me up definitely lifted my spirits 🙂

New hair can make all the difference, can't it. xx
Impatient
At least I'm feeling impatient this week. 4 months post partum , hot outside all of a sudden, and my summer clothes are all too tight
hopeful…between starting a new diet and perhaps moving closer to our families (fingers crossed!) this week has been hopeful 🙂
*-fLOOOOONG…
We are off on an overseas holiday next week, and this week has just dragged on :-/
Where are you off to?
My one word: TIRING. Minimal sleep, chores galore, appointments & errands. Emails & work. BUSY! I'm exhausted!
Enjoy your quiet day today Chantelle. Lap it up…and devour that green tea 🙂 And have a great weekend.
xx
P.S. Oh to be on holidays ALL THE time….wouldn't it be luverly 🙂 x
Just waiting for that lotto win …

one word 😉
I dont know wether to go with SAD or EXHAUSTING.
SAD because both my little boys have been sick, one with Bronciolitis, the other an Ear Infection.
OR
EXHAUSTING because I've been up most nights every half hour and haven't had much sleep all week.

Next week better be a good one for you, or I'll have to come and kick it's butt.
Spring! Spring has certainly sprung here in LA. All the flowers smell sooooooo delicious!
Rad.
The weather has been amazing. I've eaten like a pig, drank a bunch of beer, frolicked outdoors, and sold stuff in the down time. I love this week's guts.
Awesome! x

Saturated! Too saturated to really digest what is or was going on. I am just dead tired and need a real break somewhere on my own.
tired! All week I have stayed up late to read the Hunger Games, I cannot put it down!
Oooh, now you've got me tempted.
Rainy!
Routine- but in a good way.

Exhausted! … just admitted my cancer-ridden mother into palliative care yesterday and all she says she wants to go home … so heartbreaking!
Scared.
My gorgeous and precious 1yo has been going through chemo to get him ready for a myeloablative transplant next Tuesday. Wish I had a crystal ball to see if the transplant is going to work and cure him, or how sick my darling little boy is going to be.
Gloria, my heart goes out to you. My heart sank as I read your heartbreaking words.
I hope you're got a good support network to hold your hand through it all.
Big hugs. xx
Gloria, my heart skipped a beat reading this. May the transplant be successful and your son will recover.Pryaers to you and yours.
