Win a $300 Katies Gift Card

Brought to you by Katies.

Oh gosh, yes that’s me trying to be a model. Let’s pretend that’s not awkward for a moment, can we?

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, or if I haven’t told you, or if you’ve been confused by the blog title, but I’m a curvy girl lady. I wear a 18/20, sometimes a 22 if I’ve eaten over my monthly quota of cake. I pretty much know everywhere that I can buy clothes in Australia. I’m on it. EXCEPT that I didn’t know that Katies stocked clothes that fit me. I didn’t know. I’ve been walking past, looking lustfully at the mannequins in the windows and thinking ‘one day’ wistfully. UNTIL NOW.

Katies has the goods. I was stuck in there for a good 30 minutes, and I thought my family might file a missing person’s report. The knitwear is perfection. I wanted one of everything. ALL THE THINGS.

WEARING

See that top up there, I bought it. And it fit. And it was delicious. It’s got a zipper down the back, and if I was a better model I would have shown you that, and 3/4 sleeves that make it awesome. And the hat is only $19.95. You can check out the scarf here, but I must confess… it’s even more delicious in person.

Also, if you haven’t noticed, Mother’s Day is just around the corner. I love my family, I do… but if I don’t drop major hints, I end up with a hand-drawn photo of our family and nothing more. Which is fine. It is, but isn’t it nice to get gifts? Or feel loved and appreciated? So I’ve put together a heap of goodies that you can simply, and conveniently leave open for them to find. GET THE HINT LOVED ONES {she wants clothes}.

I have a $300 Katies Gift Card up for grabs. One lucky person will be shopping up a storm. Do you know you could buy EVERYTHING above and still have money left over?

  1. I have already informed my husband of my plan…no need for big pressies, maybe some choccie or a magazine for a treat would be nice. What I really want to do is get my lot together for a decent hike in the bush and then a meal out together. Doesn’t sound like a big deal, but getting three teenagers organised and available at the same time these days is trickier than you’d think! Fingers crossed for me…Jill

  2. At my parents house, drinking bubbles with my mum and sister, eat a BBQ lunch that dad has cooked and laughing the afternoon away.

  3. I would love some sort of delicious breakfast prepared for me while wearing my pjs all day! Also a lovely new pair of slippers would be unreal to get me ready for Melbourne winter. Then maybe finished off with takeaway dinner with the family xx

  4. I would really love a sleep in and coffee in bed for Mother’s Day this year and perhaps a day off from thinking about and preparing meals for the family. Fingers crossed!

  5. My mum is in a Care Facility in Cairns. She will not know it’s Mothers’ Day. She won’t know the flowers I send her are to celebrate and say thanks. But, when I visit her in early May, she will know it’s me. So, on Mothers’ Day, I will be thankful that mum is in the hands of carers who really care and who will tell her many times over and over that the flowers are for Mothers’ Day and they are from me.

  6. A sleep in, a visit from my children and a day spent thinking of my Mum who passed away 22months ago I find Mother’s Day a a really hard day now, even though I’m a mother I still miss mine!
I will not being going to the cemetery this year on Mothers Day though as it only made me sadder with so many motherless people visiting.Love katies and I’m glad you gave them a try Chantelle they have gorgeous peices in all the sizes Xx

  7. Last year I was on call for work. I got up early with the kids, sat on the lounge with my present on my lap ready to open it and the phone rang asking me to work urgently (I am a Registered Nurse). 9 hrs later I made it home, opened my present and ate my homemade breakfast for dinner. This year I am not on call (yay!) so all I wish for is to spend the whole day with my family. Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers to have to work this Mothers Day

  8. I’m doing the Mother’s Day classic for the first time with my husband and 5 year old daughter. We thought we would spend the morning together doing the walk and having a yummy breakfast before heading over to see our beautiful mums. I’d rather have the time together then get presents! Time and experiences are more important to me but of course this Katie’s voucher would be all about me!

  9. Say what? Katies clothes might actually fit me?
I found the link to this post on Facebook and thought yeah, a Katies voucher would be nice, but their sizes are too small. That’s ok I’ll just spend $300 on scarves… the one size fits all go to item.
But now I hear they have CLOTHES that may just fit me! I need to see this with my own eyes.
Oh yeah what was the question? Mothers Day?
Hopefully I will be treated to breakfast at our favourite cafe, and hubby taking care of ALL the dirty nappies for the day xoxox

  10. I hope to spend my very first Mother’s Day with my new little guy and my hubby… I don’t care what we do or where we go, even a picnic at home, my heart explodes when we spend time together!

  11. Breakfast in bed made by my boys, and hopefully something other than the school Mother’s Day gifts!

  12. on the sidelines, watching the kiddos wrangling a ball of some description, takeaway coffee in hand, laughing with friends and family, grateful that I’m lucky enough to be able to do this thing that is being a Mum x

  13. My husband is “working” that weekend with my dad (!) on a catamaran in the whitsundays running a stand up paddle event. So it is safe to say that I will be at home with the kids and not much will be different to a normal weekend. My sisters and I have decided that instead of it being a whole family event, just us girls and mum are going to dress up and go out to a restaurant (yay) for dinner, without a chicken nugget in sight.

  14. This year Mother’s Day also happens to be my husband’s birthday as well! I cannot hope more for a beautiful family day together with our 3 year old daughter. Having breakfast in bed TOGETHER seeing my mum for lunch then hubby’s choice for dinner ( I can predict it will be Mexican!) presents come second as the main thing for the day will be FAMILY. ✌?️

  15. Spending the mothers day weekend with my gorgeous little family, I’m hoping for burnt toast in bed and fliers picked from our garden. And a big kiss from my 2 year old. Bliss xx

  16. Every year I want a picnic, and every year it’s a DISASTER. This year I’d like to go somewhere nice for breaky, and see a movie! (Chick flick- child free!) ps you look GORGEOUS!

  17. I’ll be wearing pink and running the Mother’s Day Classic with the hubster (I don’t think he’ll be wearing pink, though.) Geography gets in the way of spending Mother’s Day with our mums, so we spend it with other people’s mums and supporting an awesome cause instead. PS Did you know Mother’s Day in the UK is in March? It’s SO confusing!

  18. The last two mother’s days have been disasters. One of them was my husband’s birthday, and the other one I went to Target, bought myself a dressing gown and paid the gift wrapping people to wrap it (I think I pretended it was for my own mum to avoid how tragic I was being in reality). Yesterday I was shopping and got a gift with purchase that I’ve put aside with the craft (that I basically made) from playgroup last Monday to be given by my kids on mother’s day. Re-reading that I sound so entitled and ungrateful, but I’m not. I’ll treasure those pom pom flowers and handprint cards (written in my own handwriting) for my whole life. I just love that brown tote, and have had the same nappy bag for years! PS totally believeable modeling, what a babe!

  19. I hope to spend Mother’s Day with my mum, doing whatever she wants to do – probably gardening or sewing – and making sure she doesn’t have to work too hard! (If I won, I would be taking her shopping ? ??)

  20. Bloody hell woman you’re a total babe! Mother’s Day is the day after my birthday so I’m hoping to be eating birthday cake for breakfast and then head to the beautiful Adelaide hills for lunch with my boys and huz xx

  21. I’m super excited about Mother’s Day this year because I’ll be spending it with my mum! We haven’t had a Mother’s Day together since I left home 18 years ago. It’s going to be really special and I can’t wait! We’re going to take a drive to Beechworth and go out for lunch!

  22. I hope to spend mothers day with my mummy who will hopefully be visiting from nsw around then. My 2 gorgeous kids will be with me (as they live here ?) and hoping to spend abit of time with my 10mth old grandson (once he spoils his mummy and nunu) then we can get our 4gen photo too ?

  23. How do I want to spend my Mother’s Day? With my beautiful family, hubby and my baby son having breakfast in bed, lots of cuddles. Then getting dressed and driving over to Nanna’s house to give her a special gift. I would love to give my beautiful mum $300 to spend at Katie’s! She has been through so much, mental illness, losing her brother to suicide, losing my father to cancer and still managing to get up in the morning with hope and a smile. It would make her year to have a new wardrobe from Katie’s to wear! A new beginning ??

  24. This will be the 1st Mothers day in 6 yrs that I dont have to work. I’m hoping to get a sleep in and a yummy brunch.

  25. This year I will be a mother of two on Mothers’ Day. That’s assuming this overdue baby decides to emerge! Hopefully the day will be full of family love and lots of cuddles from my hubby, toddler son and squishy newborn.

  26. I would love to spend Mother’s Day with my mum who will be getting through her first Mother’s Day without her own mother. To make her a cake and surround her with her grandchildren would be the best, for both of us!

  27. Every Mother’s Day we do the same things that we do every other weekend. We spend time as a family just being us. We love, we laugh, we play, we garden and we generally run amok and it’s absolutely perfect! It’s not that I want Mother’s Day to blend in with every other weekend but every other weekend already feels like Mother’s Day weekend too! That’s the best part about being a Mum; it’s Mother’s Day every day!

  28. I’d hoped to do an impromptu lunch or something with my sisters and mum, but getting us all together is like trying to get a giraffe into the back seat of a mini…..its near on impossible!! So a sleep in would be nice but seeing that it’s just me and my pixie, maybe not haha. I’ll settle for abckids on the couch, maybe a slice of delicious mud cake for morning tea and lots of snuggles from my pixie (and inevitably a game of shopkins vs minions thrown in for good measure) ????

  29. We always do the same things on Mother’s Day, and it’s beautiful. Time with my little family (husband and 3 kids) and then time with my parents (celebrating Father’s Day though as we swap it because their birthdays are also in the same month as Mother’s and Father’s Day) and time with my in laws. It would be lovely to actually get a gift though, as being a typical mum I always think we need to spend the money on somebody or something else…

  30. I have an extra ‘mummy reason’ to celebrate this year with my 3rd child. I would dearly love time listened and to be appreciated but I’ll take a quick sleep in (so 6:15!), mummy’s movie choice (princess themed) and a long hot uninterrupted bath!

  31. I missed out on mothers day last year and I was really down about it… It’s one of my fave days! (Christmas being the favourite) We have 4 generations on my maternal side and we always celebrate our little “village” (it takes one to raise a child apparently lol) by having all the women in my family over for either brekky or lunch. We love putting on a big spread to show thanks to our mama’s, aunts and cousins who have helped raise us. The food and having everyone in the same spot at once is the best combination for a good day 🙂 <3

  32. Last year was my first mothers day, but I was still recovering from an emergency C-section and my son was too young to really ‘do’ anything with, so this year I’m hoping we can go to the park for a picnic and a crawl around in the autumn leaves and just enjoying being a little family.

  33. I know exactly how I’m spending Mothers Day this year, but I can’t tell anyone yet as it involves a big surprise! But needless to say, I’m so excited!

  34. I am very much looking forward to having a break with my mum, the two of us taking a day off just to be together. It will most likely start with bread and butter pudding and coffee from our local french bakery and end with a great movie, she is a big fan of Only You with Marisa Tomei.

  35. I would love to spend mothers’ day in bed for as long as possible, then to have coffee brought to me when I wake up without any sort of alarm or children prompting me to do so. Then lunch out and back to a house cleaned by someone else and dinner thought of by someone else. I’ll still be ok without all this tho.

  36. This Mothers Day I hope to be nice and warm in front of a fire place somewhere with a fancy glass of red in my hand, and of course surrounded by my family. I think I may be visiting my sister this particular weekend and my Mum is going to be there too. Awesome!! A mini holiday, fire and wine….

  37. My husband is normally off racing his car on Mothers Day but this year he isn’t racing!! I know how much he loves it but I am looking forward to having our family together for Mothers Day. I will be happy just to spend the day at home with my husband and our three beautiful children.

  38. My mum unfortunately doesn’t live close to me, so I won’t be able to spend Mothers Day with her, therefore I would love to be able to give her a wardrobe update 🙂
Instead I will be spending Mothers Day with my fiances mother and family, we have planned a surprise lunch for all the mums in the family to attend!

  39. We’ll be walking the Mother’s Day Classic with my mum and my boys. We’ve done this every year since she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Every year she’s at a different stage, every year she’s getting better and every year it’s emotional. Oh and then we’ll eat something yummy because we’ve walked and it’s Mother’s Day. Pretty sure there are no calories on Mother’s Day.

  40. I’ll be spending it with my daughter, mum, sister and niece. We will probably go out for coffee and have a play date. I will also catch up with my mother in law and sister and law too. Family is so important so spending it with the women I love is great.

  41. Mothers Day will happily be spent with both my mum and my mum-in-law when we invite them over for a little dinner at our place. As I get older, I realise how lucky I am to have not only both of them still around and in good health but to also enjoy our relationships and have them very much involved in my daughter’s life as well. My request has been new bed socks and flannelette pyjamas!

  42. I will be happy to spend Mothers Day pottering around home with my family and cook something delicious for my Mum and Dad to join us for tea. Simple family time. That’s what is important to me.

  43. With my two boys as I feel so lucky every single day to be a mum! And of course with my mum, and also my mum’s mum, with my aunties who are also mums and my sister who is a puppy mum! I want to be with ALL the mums!

  44. My favourite part of Mother’s Day is the breakfast in bed. Even if it’s only a slice of Vegemite toast and a lukewarm cuppa, the look of pride on my boy’s little faces make it so lovely. After my morning of relaxation, we’ll be going to my Mum’s place to celebrate with her. I’m very lucky xx

  45. I get to spend it at Auskick for my boys first year playing footy!! I am actually really excited! Cause that kinda stuff is what being a mum is all about!

  46. With my mum. We lost my dad suddenly in July last year, so my poor mum, an only child, has had a very tough time. We all have really. Hopefully her two daughters and three grandsons can lift her spirits and keep her mind off things, if only for a little bit.

  47. Making memories with my boys, and sharing memories of my late mum (whom they never met) with them! A bittersweet day really. My mum loved Katie’s and shopped there all the time, now I do too!

  48. Spending time with my mum & dad, my husband & our daughters and my sister, her husband & my niece and nephews. Beginning at the Mother’s Day Classic walk in the city followed by a nice brunch. Then ending with a visit to my husband’s mum and the family. There’s no other way I’d want to spend the day x

  49. I would be most happy having a day with my mum, my husband and my 3 gorgeous little girls. It’s a given that I will need to eat, at least once. And maybe some champagne (the real gear) to boot?!

  50. I’m thinking it’ll be breakky cooked for me after being woken up with lots of cuddles and kisses from my girls who are itching to show me their handmade cards and pressies ?
The rest of the day is usually split between spending time with my mum and mil ?

  51. will be spending the morning with my mumma having a nice breakfast, then afternoon picnic with my mother inlaw. i’m so bummed i’ll have to wait til next year to celebrate my own mothers day!

  52. This is how we do the sunny side up Mothers Day brekky at ours. Haha not glossy mag ready. Always outside the mould and I wouldn’t have it any other way with my beautiful boys. Soccer games, Mothers Day lunch with my mum, sis and and all boy sons and nephews shoot off in the hoops to round it off.

  53. I am hoping for a sleep in and maybe some eggs benny, then have a quiet afternoon with family. The real gift will be none of my children screaming or fighting for a whole day!

  54. I hope that I get breakie in bed…that involves boys, laughs, crumbs and snuggly cuddles!! Then spend the rest of the day with my Mum, Dad and family having a picnic near the beach

  55. My plan is to wake up to my two girls jumping in bed with me for toast and cuddles. I’ll then move from my bed to take up position in front of the open fire. By the fire, we will continue cuddles and this time add chocolate. Repeat, repeat, repeat!

  56. I’m so lucky, I always get breakfast in bed made by my three wonderful kids, then it’s off to church and a lovely day spent with family!

  57. I hope to spend mothers day with my 5 children. Just laughing and making memories. The older ones are teenagers now with busy lives and I work shift work, but just an hour all together. No bickering, no nit picking, just enjoying each other.

  58. This will be my first mother’s day with my 3 children. I look forward to spending the day with them, my incredible mum and fantastic husband having lots of cuddles and laughs making life long memories.

  59. I hope to spend Mother’s Day getting lots of cuddles and special Eskimo kisses from my boys. They have just learned how to do Eskimo kisses and it melts my heart.

  60. This Mother’s Day I’m blessed. Lilly will be dancing at an Eisteddfod. She’s an amazing thing and I just love to watch her dance but this particular dance, her contemporary solo is so close to my heart because it’s choreographed by one of dearest friends and is about the awkwardness of growing up. I hope that I’m moved to tears, swelling with pride and overwhelmed with amazement at this wonderful young woman. And given its a week before her FIFTEENTH (Oh my god!) birthday, I don’t think this could be any more perfect. Well, except if she wins her section at the eisteddfod, that’d be pretty ace actually!

  61. Hmmmm… Not being woken before dawn would be a great start! Then just a chilled morning with my lots of kisses and cuddles from my boy and husband. Followed by afternoon tea with my mum!

  62. I hope to spend Mothers Day with my beautiful Mum for the first time in three years In person since she moved to New Zealand! She’s finally moving back home to Australia & im so excited! Xxx

  63. With my own mother. She lost a child late last year (my brother), and she is struggling to come to terms with his death. We all are. He was 41 years young. Mother’s Day will all be about family and providing love, comfort and strength. And maybe my two little kidlets will give me bucket loads of that too xxx

  64. Love to take time out with my mother in law and spend time dining out @ KinSei japanese restaurant with my boys. Life is worth celebrating just being in the moment.

  65. This Mother’s Day will hopefully be my first as both a mother and daughter. My first baby will hopefully make his or her appearance before then (due on the 2nd of May) and my own mum is going to be there for me then, as she always is. I would like to celebrate Mothers Day with a photo of the threw of us taken together:-)

  66. Morning snuggles in my bed with my three babies, our safe place. Fills my heart to the brim to be in our little bubble of warm, safe and a whole lotta love ❤ Spending the afternoon with my beautiful Mum will just make the day perfecto!x

  67. For my first Mother’s Day, I’d love to be spewed, weed and pooed on, all before 4am. I’d love to forget to do my hair before leaving the house. I’d love to turn the shower off 5 times while I’m in there because I’m sure I can hear my baby crying. I’d love to have the same conversation with my husband 3 times and forget we had it anyway. I’d love to wipe the crumbs off my baby’s head as I eat my breakfast while feeding him.
I’d love to spend Mother’s Day being a mum. There’s no better job in the world ❤️

  68. I will spend my VERY FIRST mothers day waking up with cuddles from my gorgous 9 month old, (hopefully) breaky in bed, a trip to church and then celebrating my husbands mother at Southbank Parklands with numerous buckets of KFC (her fav food ONLY on mothers day) heehee can’t wait.

  69. This Mothers Day will be so special as its my first Mothers Day as a nanny. I hope to spend time with my beautiful family who live far and wide these days but at the same time, I’ll be remembering my own Mum who passed away far too young 10 years ago and missed seeing the kids grow up to become the amazing, beautiful people they are today.

  70. Mother’s Day is a bitter sweet day for me. I would give my right arm for a day with my late mum but then again I’m so blessed to have two beautiful kids who buy me terrible presents from the school stall that I absolutely adore. I can’t wait to have two excited kids jump in my bed bright and early to proudly give me undrinkable coffee and sloppy smooches. That’s my kind of wonderful ?

  71. My partner finally has Sunday’s off so we’ll have his mum and dad over for a BBQ or takeaway (or we’ll go over theirs or maybe even a park trip) like every special occasion. It will be nice to wake up with him on this special day! ?

  72. Not doing housework! No cleaning. No cooking. No washing. Just relaxing with a coffee, a piece of cake and my family.

  73. My husband will have just departed for another 4 weeks away with the army. I shall be hanging out with Miss 8 and Master 5 and we shall take my Mum out for lunch. Btw is your hubby still away? How is all that going?

  74. Not being woken up at 4am by miss toddler, and after a relaxing morning. Spoiling my mum and mother in law before watching trashy tv with a bowl of choc pudding and ice cream ?

  75. Mothers Day always falls on a busy time for farmers and usually means little acknowledgement of the day. This year it also happens to fall the day after my husband’s birthday. So I’m trying really hard not to make a big deal of it all, after all, I’m happily married with three little cherubs……it’s just, I would really love some time to myself, for myself. There is this awesome market on in the city that I have hoped to get to over the last few years and never made it. So this Mothers’ Day, I’d love to go to that market, on my own, and just enjoy the space and the atmosphere.

  76. Just being surrounded by my boys and taking in all the simple things and existing in the moments shared. No rushing around, no housework, just enjoying each other’s company.

  77. Mother’s Day this year will be spent with my mum, kids & husband. I’ve got 2 beautiful children. Madison is 6 & Julian is just 8 months old. I cherish Mother’s Day every year. I feel so lucky & grateful. My mum is the most caring & beautiful person in this world you could ever meet. I’d be lost without her?

  78. Mothers Day this year will be spent wishing that i was able to be with my mum for the day, but as we live four hours away from each other we will be celebrating the next time I go home, but I will get to see some of my beautiful friends experience there first mothers, which is something that I can not honestly wait to experience for myself.

  79. I’m hoping after the footy mum duties have been completed, and hopefully a win for the U12’s, when mums taxi finally stops at the depot (aka home) that Mother’s Day will be spent defrosting from footy, note to self, get warm clothes, and with a board game or two laughing and making memories together with the boys and hoping that they let their mumma win one game at least 😉

  80. We will be spending time with my mum, my Nan and my mother in law. Hopefully with good food and a glass of wine 🙂

  81. What I would like to do is sleep until 9am. Even 8am would be awesome. Then a leisurely breakfast and a day of chilling out with the fam. With no repeats of baby botong my boob with his brand new tooth. Ouch!!

  82. I will be volunteering at the Mother’s Day Classic walk in Brisbane and then enjoying my 1st mother day with my little bub and family 🙂

  83. I’m hoping for a sleep in – my first in two years! Then I’d like to follow that up with a quiet breakfast somewhere with just my little family. In the afternoon, it would be nice to see my husband’s mother and his grandmother for coffee and cake. Because if a bunch of mums can’t indulge in coffee and cake on Mother’s Day, when can they? ?

  84. it will be my first mother’s day as a mom to my 1 month old babe. i hope to spend the day at home with the bubby and the hubby. then catch up with my mom and mom in law through facetime. just a quiet mother’s day for me.

  85. Delicious, yummy goodies made with lots of love is what I’m baking for my Mum and boys!
Her own High Tea with all the trimmings!
Can’t wait for Mother’s Day! Love my best friend, my Mum, Wendy!

  86. Although I’d love spending the day with my kids and my mum, I haven’t had a Mother’s Day at home in many years.
I’m usually found at work! A children’s hospital where plenty of mums are spending their day in a place they’d much rather not be. My husband is a wicked baker and we pass around all the goodies we bake to the mums I work with and the mums stuck in a room.
It’s really quite nice! I often get a visit from my young ones and I feel lucky that we all get to leave ??

  87. Our family will be in the country visiting our parents. I hope my Mother’s Day includes a sleep-in, a yummy breakfast, and a sleep on the long drive home! Getting to squeeze my mum for her special day, and watching my husband squeeze his mum too, will be the the icing on top.

  88. Wishing for a sleep in, but need to go to organic markets first and then hoping to go to the Farm or Crystal Castle for a day trip, but as long as it’s with hubby and kids, it will be perfect, just making memories and sharing family time

  89. Flat out on my back catching up on Zzz’s!!!!
Haha Just Kidding! I’ll be flat out running after my girls like every other day of the year. I’m lucky I’m a mummy and I LOVE MY JOB!

  90. For Mother’s Day I am making mum brekie in bed, then taking her out for lunch and going shopping and seeing a movie

  91. I would love to start the day with a big homemade brekky at no earlier than 9am. Then a nice drive through the Adelaide Hills, enjoying the beautiful Autumn sights, including a stop off somewhere for something yummy, I haven’t had cake in way too long…what better day to treat yourself I guess!

  92. I’m going to spend my Mother’s Day with my best friends – My Mum, my Nanna and my beautiful baby girl. 4 generations. We go to the local Mother’s Day markets every year and have a lovely morning tea together. Then hubby, my girl and our fur baby all go to the beach in the afternoon. Couldn’t think of anything better x

  93. I like you often walk into s Katie’s store for well over 30 minutes. ( the missing persons report is put in every time I go shopping) I find that Katie’s you need to have time to search through the racks. I can pick out some really comfortable sized (16) items. Not hipsters, not crop tops, just really comfy basics. Not to mention the affordable accessories. With Katie’s I don’t feel over weight and uncomfortable. I feel stylish and pretty.
So on Mother’s Day this year, I hope I’m hitting the shops, with a Katie’s voucher, feeling comfortable and looking great!

  94. Making some delicious macaroons for my mum and my boyfriends mum. Then spending the day with mum and having dinner with the in laws when my partner finishes work.

  95. I hope to spend the day being pampered by my hubs and kids as well as in turn pampering my mum and MIL. Nothing better than celebrating two generations of mothers (except for celebrating 3 or 4 generations, but we unfortunately don’t have that).

  96. I will spend part of Mothers Day thinking about how blessed I was to have had a beautiful Mum in my life and trying not to feel overwhelmed by this being my first one in 57 years without her after her passing five weeks ago. Then I hope to have time with my own three gorgeous children as the cycle of life goes on.

  97. With my 16 month old daughter and darling hubby. Have a family breakfast, just the three of us and then go to the park for a play and a chill under the trees!
My 1st Mother’s Day last year was terrible as my sister crashed her car and was hospitalised. Looking forward to a quiet and relaxing day this year!

  98. I would love to surprise my Mum and just “show up” for breakfast with my girls, but as she lives too far I don’t think that will be possible this year….so I would like my family to surprise me with some yummy food that I don’t have to cook and a visit to a near by beach or a scenic coastal walk.

  99. I plan to do the Mothers Day Classic run with my Mum, followed by a delicious brunch out with my family.

  100. This year my 5 & 4 year old sons plus our 5 week old bubba will be cheering my husband across the finish line of Tour de cure – a 10 day bike ride from Brisbane – Sydney to raise money for a cure for cancer. Can’t think of anything better – great cause, fabulous example for the boys & a lovely way to remember our beloved mums.

  101. I hope to spend Mother’s Day in Katies spending the $300 voucher I’m going to win. ? Seriously though I’m just hoping for breakfast in bed. Thanks for the blog post, being a curvy girl myself and always admiring the clothes in Katies from outside the store, I had no idea I could actually go in and shop there.

  102. I hope to be spending the day with my kids not bickering…..just for one day. I hope that for the first time in 9 years my partner will organise something for us to do on Mothers Day. If all else fails I hope to be going shopping with a $300 Katies voucher in the near future 🙂

  103. Sleeping in – please NO breakfast in bed. Just chilling out for the whole day – no cooking, no housework.

  104. This is my first Mother’s Day so I’m hoping that my baby daddy has something spesh planned but in all honesty just spending the day with my daughter, hubby and my mum with some delish food would be wonderful!

  105. We will spend mother’s day at a christening and first birthday party, then family day with the mother-in-law.

  106. This year will be my first Mother’s Day and I’m pretty excited. My little one will be 2 1/2months old. I don’t know what I’ll be doing but my husband assures me it will be special. I would love to have a lovely combined Mother’s Day breakfast with my Mum and mother-in-law, and spend the rest of the day with my new little family.

Hope you all have a wonderful Mother’s Day!

  107. oooh what a wonderful prize! Thanks for the chance to enter 🙂
My mob don’t usually do much for me on Mother’s Day so I will probably be working :-/ *sigh
Hope you have a wonderful Mother’s Day <3

  108. I want to spoil my Mum and sister in law too, so am planning to do a high tea style afternoon tea at my house on Mother’s Day for the whole family! That will make it a great day for me too. A Katie’s voucher to share with Mum would be even better!

  109. I will be spending the Mother’s Day weekend with my dad and extended family celebrating his birthday. I do hope my three kids give me a bit of a sleep in and a cup of tea. It’s the little things that really matter.

  110. I’m looking forward to being given handmade cards by my 3 cherubs & presented with treasures they’ve bought at the Mothers Day school stall. Can’t wait!

  111. I hope I might get to my old home village (5hrs away) & see my own mum at a market day she helped start for our village 22yrs ago! It could well be the last market & id love to see her walk the oval & enjoy the day which she has helped make suc a success.

  112. We have a family portrait taken of my Grandmother, Mother, my daughter – who is now 2, and I. The picture is framed and we each have one to keep for another year – a very special day to treasure.

  113. This is my first Mother’s Day as a mother. I am planning on completing the Mother’s Day classic with my aunty. My mother will be overseas but hopefully we will get to Skype on the day. Then I would like a nice home cooked meal with my husband, Nanna and Pa, brother, sister, her 4 children and my 7 month old daughter.

  114. I’d love to spend Mother’s Day smothered in love from my boys. A long snuggle in bed under the warm covers, coffee then some cake would be perfect.

  115. I would love to have this Mother’s Day just for me, but with the day divided between my mum & the in-laws it ends up being a bit of a drainer ( especially when the in-laws only want to go to all you can eat salmonella dens!!).
Am hoping my house will finally be complete in the coming months so next year I can host Mother’s Day at home. Fingers crossed!
In the meantime I’m off to Katie’s to grab that hat!

  116. I hope to spend my Mothers Day watching all three of my kids playing soccer….there is nothing better than seeing your kids participate in team sports!

  117. I would love a day with just my poppet and I. A day where we snuggle and just hang out. Maybe a market and an afternoon nap together

  118. My mother lives very, very far away from me but this year I am fortunate to have her here during Mother’s Day. It would be fantastic to be able to just spend time with her on that special day.

  119. I would love to sleep in, then go to brunch with my husband and 2 kids, maybe invite my Mum, Nan and my Aunties too. It’s my birthday the Wednesday beforehand, so if I could spend the afternoon browsing the shops ON MY OWN, that would be a bonus. If I had a $300 Katies gift card to use, that would make things even more awesome (and keep me out of the house for longer!)

  120. I’m hoping my ex will be generous enough to let me have the girls for a few hours after my shift finishes on what is “one of his days”. Probably aim for coffee and some cake together with home made cards.. That would make me very happy! ?

  121. Spew free! Last year we were up early & headed out for a lovely breakfast 🙂 I didn’t get 3 steps from the car with my then 18 mth old when he projectiled all over me, himself & the footpath! So this year I have modest dreams of just a sick-free day with my son, hubby & pup dog, ahh :))

  122. I’m looking forward to having my hubby home from an overseas business trip. He arrives Sunday morning. The kids and I will be so happy to be back together as a family.

  123. Starting with any early morning walk with my gorgeous daughter, The Mother’s Day Classic raising funds for breast as my best friend has just finished her treatments & surgeries. Then a yummy breakfast and probably a ‘nanna nap’ before having dinner with my Mum!

  124. Hopefully helping my Mummy spend her $300 katies gift card that I’ve won!! ? She deserves it a lot more than I right now, 5 months of chemo isn’t easy and she’s handled it like an absolutely trooper! Keep fighting mamma!!

  125. I hope to spend Mothers day with the news of a positive pregnancy test – getting the chance to actually be a mother in this lifetime. Going through IVF at the moment and will get the results two days earlier than mothers day. I have dreamt about becoming a mother for years, really hope we succeed this time. My parents are also visiting from Denmark, it would be lovely to take my mother shopping at Katies :o)

  126. Spending time with my daughters and my husband – my mum died when I was 25 and it is only in the last few years that I can actually enjoy the day. My daughters are getting older and now I take the time to be grateful for my little family and spend time remembering my mum.

I doubt I’ll get anything as fabulous as those katies clothes but I can dream 🙂

  127. A sleep in and then breakfast in bed with my three kids with pressies they have picked at the school Mother’s Day stall.

  128. My mum is 70 this year and still works fulltime shiftwork so this year we are taking her to breakfast at The Crown, she will be so excited because besides being a workaholic, she cooks her meals every night. For one day there will be no cooking just happy eating with our family.

  129. Hopefully a sleep in, then have the kids help me make pancakes for a lazy brunch at home. Of course we’ll visit my wonderful mum later in the day!

  130. I plan on spending it with my Mum. She’s had a rough year after being diagnosed with Dementia last year so I treasure the time I spend with her even more now.

  131. I hope to spend Mothers Day surrounded by family while celebrating my grandmothers 90th birthday. Lots of laughs and lots of good food while making special memories with my Nan, my mum and my daughter. 4 generations of women gathered together for a very special occasion 🙂

  132. I would love to be at a park in a beautiful, leafy suburb I know with a huge playground area for kids and a quiet picnic blanket spot for the adults to read some delicious magazines that I have been waiting to get stuck into. That’s all I want.

  133. I can’t be with my Mum on Mother’s day, so I’ll be sending her a big bunch of her favourite flowers, organise for Dad to take her out to a beautiful morning tea. I’ll call her and make sure she knows much loved and appreciated she is!

  134. This is my 1st Mother’s Day so I’ll be spending it with my 11 month old and husband, and of course our beautiful mums who have done so so much for us over the last year. Hoping for nice weather to have a fun day outside

  135. We’ll be on our first family holiday as a family of three! It will be my first Mother’s Day. I hope to spend it tripping around fnq making memories with my beautiful boy and husband. A nice dinner and a glass of wine.

  136. I just hope to spend the day with my hubby and son. Lots of love, lots of laughs and definitely lots of cuddles. My mum lives up the coast so I won’t see her but I hope to relax and enjoy my little family. I love being a mum and I want the day to celebrate that and that involves enjoying my day with the ones I love more than anything. Maybe a little sunshine, some nature and definitely some delicious coffee.

  137. This is the first year that the whole family is going out for lunch (normally Mum cooks up a storm and never gets to enjoy it) so this year we can all relax and enjoy the day 🙂

  138. Sharing a pampering pedicure with Mum – at 52 years of age, she’s like a virgin this will be a first time experience I really hope she likes.

  139. Yeah, it sounds corny but every day is “Mothers Day” for me because I have children who openly show their love. But to make the day special, I’d love to been taken out for a nice coffee and cake.

  140. We hope to spend Mother’s day this year with three generations of women in the house for the first time ever.

  141. Mother’s Day this year will hopefully go down injury free, last year my nana fell down the stairs and broke her wrist so no injuries would be good!

  142. I will be spending mothers day alone but I have ordered my Mother a bouquet of flowers back in NZ to be delivered at her work on Mothers Day ?

  143. This year the plan for mothers day is to go camping with my son and my dad at mt gambier – here’s hoping it all goes to plan! 🙂 we love it there, it’s a beautiful place

  144. Hope to see my beautiful mum, I would go halves in the voucher with her, she has had a massive last year with operation for a brain aneurysm so would love to treat her to a new outfit ?

  145. Ive been told I get to have a WHOLE hour to myself for mothers day to do WHAT I WANT!! WOW. as so excitingly told to me by my 11year old who is turning 12 on the same day – the rest of the day is hers, apparently! OOKAYYY! (dont ya just love em)

  146. I’m having two this year!, one with son 2 and family where he will cook a delicious meal, and a week later with son 1 and he too will cook a delicious meal to share with me and his family. That’s my dream! Being with family and being loved and shown I’m special!

  147. This will be my first ever Mother’s Day! I can’t wait to spend the day with my beautiful baby boy and hopefully get a little spoilt by the hubby 😉

  148. Mothers Day to me is a day where I really reflect on how extremely lucky I am to be a mother and super blessed to have my beautiful mumma bear!!!!! This year I’m going to spend my Mother’s Day with my two gorgeous children, my handsome husband and my fabulous family!!!!!
Full of big cuddles, sunshine, delicious food and fresh bright flowers!!! ???????

  149. I love Katies, I reacquainted myself a few years ago and I’m so glad I did. We have a little family tradition for Mothers Day. A delicious afternoon Tea, homemade scones, raspberry jam and thick cream, a very good array of finger sandwiches and too many cups of tea! So, so very good!

  150. Wake me up – after 8am, hallelujah a sleep in! – feed me, dress me, put me in the car & drop me off with my friends for 6 hours where we can play – shop at Katies? – have lunch – somewhere that doesn’t serve chicken nuggets – pick me up, take me home & I promise I’ll cook dinner – something other than chicken nuggets & I promise nothing red because I know that’s not your fave colour this week ??

  151. Since I live so so far away from my mother, my plan is to spend a part of mother’s day Skyping with her and (hopefully) remembering to send her flowers and a gift in the post.

  152. Mother’s Day is breakfast out with my hubby, daughter and son and then a drive in the country, stopping to sample the fudge in Morpeth and dream of country living!

  153. Hopefully I’ll be able to have a sleep in followed by a cup of tea and family cuddles in bed.

  154. I’m so excited for my first Mother’s Day as a mother! I hope to spend the day getting lots of cuddles & kisses from my little girl, and let’s be honest, maybe a little sleep?! We also plan to have our own, ‘homemade high tea’ with the other women (and men) in my family.

  155. Enjoying a morning snuggle in bed with my 10mth old boy and being thankful for finally having the cheeky little monkey in my life!?

  156. If I totally honest I would love to be taken out for a delicious breakfast with the family and then left alone for the rest of the day to go for a run and then go shopping for myself.
These days I am almost a single Mum and husband keeps going away for different reasons and I am ready for some ‘me’ time.. its been far too long..

  157. No need to go ‘special’ places,
I want to be surrounded by beautiful little faces,
That always fill my heart with love,
and maybe my favorite chocolate – Dove!

  158. I will probably be spending mother’s day at the nursing home I work at. I love my job, but I wish I was spending it with my mum. I haven’t had a mother’s day with her for 6 years. I can’t afford to buy her anything this year either, so I would love to win this Katie’s gift card to spoil her, because she is pretty amazing. She doesn’t get a chance to go shopping much. It’d be cool to be able to take her to get new clothes when she visits.

  159. It’s my first Mother’s Day!! My little girl will be 3 weeks old 🙂 will spend the morning with my new family then a picnic in the sun with my mum. Mum has helped so much with the new baby a girls trip together with this voucher would be amazing!!!

  160. Mother’s day this year will probably be spent working……. the life of a farmer!! But I do hpe to have a sleep in and a cooked breakfast with my family. I will try and see my mum for afternoon tea.

  161. I would love to celebrate the way we do every year since I became a mummy – a beautiful, delicious breakfast of pancakes (with all the naughty toppings of course) while unwrapping gorgeous handmade presents from my kids followed by a lovely day of hanging out doing what we feel like. I love the days that are unplanned and everything just seems to run pleasantly and we enjoy family time!

  162. My two eldest girls , one who just became a first time mum 3 weeks ago don’t live at home . I’m looking forward to having all four of my kids at home and snuggles with the grand baby .

  163. The one where I wake up in a beautiful alternate universe,
and the dishes, washing and vacuuming fairies have all visited, my children are
not hitting each other, instead making lovely artworks for me, and my partner
has decided that just this one time, giving me flowers and chocolate won’t actually
cause him to lose his soul to capitalism forever.

  164. It’s my first Mother’s Day! So a yummy brunch out with my family (including my own mum) would be perfect 🙂

  165. Woken up by my boys to open presents in bed – followed by yummy pancakes cooked by hubby. Then a lovely drive and picnic somewhere would be awesome.

  166. My mum, my sister and I are going to spend the day visiting an open garden in Koonwarra, have Devonshire tea, followed by a lovely lunch. It’s all about flowers and food ?

  167. I will actually be volunteering this Mother’s Day at our local Rotary run markets. But I hope to see my little girl and hubby at lunch time for some fun in the park, followed by a lovely meal with the rest of our family to celebrate all of the mum’s in our lives.

  168. A sleep in, kids make breakfast in bed for me then a beautiful lunch with my sister and mother, the two most wonderful mums i know.

  169. As a nurse, I don’t get too many special days with my little boy. This year I’ve scored the jackpot and on the late shift. I hope to get a tiny sleep in muffled with the early morning instructions from Dad how to work the coffee machine. A gift from the school mother’s day stall (which is often extremely mulled over by the little ones!) and lots and lots of snuggles.

  170. Running with my girls at the Mothers Day run, followed by brunch and lots of cuddles – then in the afternoon, some leisure time on the patio with the dogs reading my new book 🙂

  171. With my 2 beautiful children. They are my world and we love to spend time together whether it be having fun and adventures or relaxing and cuddling up for a movie.

  172. Forget breakfast, I’m hoping for brunch (almond croissants work for me), a good hair day, a walk on the beach and a late lunch with a glass of wine. Why not, throw in a few presents too? And definitely no cooking or cleaning!

  173. With my mum, my sister and hopefully all of our children together, since they have hit their teenage years its become impossible to get them all together, a couple are away at university, hopefully we can manage to bring them all together for the day

  174. You actually are rocking that look I say! As for Mother’s Day – probably at my happy place – the beach. The weekend before I am going up to spoil my mum because when we share the day it’s like she gets overlooked a bit! xx

  175. I just hope I don’t feel bad after getting told I didn’t know what to get or I couldn’t afford anything or you don’t eat breakfast. I know it’s not about getting stuff I just want for once someone to make an effort to do something for me.

  176. Mothers day this year will be spent getting ready for two weeks of placement for uni, which means not seeing my little people every morning.
We will definitely be making time for extra snuggles on Mothers Day!

  177. A Mother’s Day card made by my boys will be enough to make me smile all day! And lots of cuddles and kisses of course! Can’t wait!

  178. I hope to spend the day with my daughter celebrating mothers’ day and planning her wedding as she just got engaged!

  179. I would love to be spoiled all day starting with breakfast lunch and dinner, not to much to ask for is it.

  180. With my three gorgeous kids, husband and my mum. I’d really like there to be no nappies involved. And a nap. And cake- that someone else made. 🙂

  181. I hope to spend the morning sleeping in, even if it’s only til 8! Actually, now that I think about it, my son’s birthday party will be in the afternoon on Mother’s Day so I’ll enjoy watching him have fun with his friends bowling, nothing better than seeing your children happy…that’s the best gift a mum could get!

  182. We are planning a little adventure to our local zoo and maybe an afternoon nap if the children will allow it 🙂

  183. Unfortunately I have to work every Sunday, so 6 years in to my role as a mama, I am yet to spend real quality time with my babies on Mother’s Day. If I could do anything, I would probably just get fish’n’chips and scoff them near a beach with a good playground, soaking up some sunshine as the poppets play nearby. It’s the simple things in life that make the best memories.

  184. This year will be spent with my three girls and newborn son & I’m hoping to relax the entire day with my family & not have to cook!

  185. This voucher is EXACTLY what we have planned for Mum this year!! This last year especially it’s started to hit me just how above and beyond Mum goes for us all ? As we live 4 hours away, we’ve decided to meet in the middle and have a big family picnic lunch in a country town park. There’s waterfalls, fresh green grass, bbqs, an awesome new playground and nice toilets (that’s a plus hey!) Can’t wait ❤️??

  186. Well, not sure what’re hubs has planned, but sure hope it’s something good but I’d just be contented with the whole family being together!

  187. Hello lovelies,I will be also celebrating my Son’s 16th birthday (and lots of driving to and from a soccer game) so probably be lucky to get a quick coffee in bed. Love Katies clothes – they have really fashion forward pieces that are affordable!!!

  188. Can’t wait for ‘Mothers Day’. For me everyday is mothers day…..mothers day to do the laundry, mothers day to do the dishes, mothers day to prepare the meals, mothers day to do the housework. haha So this Mothers day Im looking forward to having a clean house and an awesome meal with a clean and happy, loving family. Hope yours is also awesome.

  189. My mom would be coming for a long visit from overseas so this year’s mothers day would be very special for me. First time we are together on moms day in a long long time. More than anything else, i hope we get to spoil her on the day! 🙂

  190. Laughing and then laughing some more then a huge roast dinner and sticky toffee pudding would be the ultimate fab day for me!

  191. Being woken up by happy healthy children followed by latte and walk down by the Manning River and play time in the park with the family. Having sick kids for the last 2 weeks and being sick myself hasn’t been much fun so this would be heavenly.

  192. On a tropical island with a sexy hot man taking care of my every need but in reality at home probably chilling with my family

  193. Eat out, go shopping, and maybe watch a movie with my mum 🙂 This is the first Mother’s Day I’ll spend with her after 4 years. I’m planning to treat her to a massage too! 😉

  194. I would love to spend it with morning sickness growing another bub but if that is not to be then I will take brunch at a cafe, a cycle along the Yarra with the family and a picnic lunch.

  195. I hope that I can spend time with my husband – who is hardly at home due to work – and son on Mother’s Day. Without my husband or son, I wouldn’t be a mum.

  196. I haven’t received flowers in ages. A big bunch of flowers and a nice simple brekkie prepared by the family, would make my mother’s day special.

  197. I hope to spend mothers day just reminding my children that I love them, I don’t need to be spoilt with gifts as I already have them in the form of two amazing children 🙂

  198. I will be spending Mothers Day with my Miss11 at her acrobatics competition!! Not what I had planned, but it’s always great to hang with her. Hoping that in the morning will be time for a BBQ breaky with my mum, and my dads mum!! She is 88, and brilliant! Wishing all the mothers out there a great day! ❤️❤️

  199. I hope to spend Mother’s Day with cuddles from my daughter and husband, then to spoil my mum with lunch before she heads to work at a nursing home and finally with my mother in law who we are planning to surprise with some old pictures we got framed of her and her own mother whom she lost at a young age.

  200. Funnily enough I actually purchased the tan bag from Katies a few weeks ago…..gave it to hubby to give to me on Mothers Day! Its been hell waiting for it though :-/
Hopefully, as well as the bag, I will get smooches and cuddles all day from my babies!

  201. I hope to start the day waiting for breaky in bed then spending the day out and about with the kids

  202. At some point on Mother’s Day, I would love some time alone or a chance for a little rest and relaxation. No sibling squabbles for an hour would be great!

  203. To take a blanket outside , in the sun on my favourite chair and just read a book! Since having children I havent read anything, net alone finished one.

  204. Oh my goodness I am way too excited to know Katies caters for us ladies of curvy proportions and with such style !!! A new winter outfit …. Way to go !

  205. I am spending Mother’s Day with 3 of my wonderfully amazing 4 children….. Feeling very grateful …. Naturally I will spoil them with delicious food including the scone recipe….. My pleasure is knowing they want to be with me ??

  206. My husband is working away on Mother’s Day and I have 3 little boys so there will be no breakfast in bed. With mouths to feed and nappies to change nothing will really change. Maybe they will sleep in, that would be nice and il get a toilet break in the peace and quiet. Hopefully they will behave all day to give me break when they have a nap during the day.

  207. I would like to sleep in, not cook or prepare any meals ALL day and go somewhere to enjoy the outdoors with the 4 (3 little and one big!) men in my life!!

  208. I’ll be going to church for free flowers and morning tea then gifts and phonecalls from my precious three.

  209. Our family will begin our day by participating in the Mothers Day Classic-to raise money for Cancer. Some of us will run the track, whereas others (me!) will walk (I have a good excuse-a newborn). We will then meet up for lunch at one of my sister’s houses-relaxed but perfect!

  210. Mother’s Day is not Mother’s Day without my Mum around so we meet for breakfast just the two of us then we share the rest of the day with our whole family. It’s our tradition!

  211. I would like to be surrounded by my Mum, Grandmothers and mother in law, showing of my new bubba. At this stage, little bubba has yet to grace us! You never know maybe thats what I will be doing this Mother’s Day, having my baby!

  212. After working two part-time jobs for a year and missing (what feels like) all of life’s amazing moments, I hope to spend Mother’s Day not working, and making wonderful memories with my children (who, in my fantasy, don’t have one single fight or throw one tantrum for the whole day) for a whole day with lots of cuddles and kisses. And cake.

  213. A sleep in for this Mummy, Then tasty food for my tummy, A day off from all the chores, Hopefully relaxation galore!

  214. Snuggled up in bed, with my presents (new pyjama’s and a novel), alone, enjoying the peace, while hubby and the kids go fishing or have some fun elsewhere. For me, knowing they’re out having an awesome day, while I get to bask in the glory of the golden silence, will make my Mother’s Day complete. Then we can go out for dinner and spend some quality Mother’s Day time together!!

  215. Quiet lunch, with the Mother’s (wife, mother in law, Mum, Step Mum, two Nan’s an a Gran) all getting along not merely biting their tongues with forced smiles on their faces. And if my Father in law would actually pick up the tab this year, best Mother’s Day ever (well at least for this Dad and husband who always gets stuck paying the bill).

  216. Spoiling my darling wife, mother to our four beautiful children, our life would not be the same without her heart of gold and daily dedication

  217. I’d love a day with good coffee, nice breakfast with the family and I’m looking forward to seeing what the kids have made me at kindy/school 🙂

  218. In a hot air balloon, sailing the skies to a vineyard or two. Wining, dining and then a helicopter to drop us off in the park a few doors down from home……the kids dropped off later in the evening, after having made their Grandmother’s Mother’s day complete by being with her for the whole day. Win win if you ask me, Mum and I at our happiest, on our day 🙂 Here’s hoping, got everything crossed 🙂

  219. Not one for fuss, it’s the simple things for me…a walk along the beach, a swim at the beach or a family adventure through the National park…surrounded by the blessings of Mother Nature.

  220. I hope to be catching up with all the wonderful mums in my life, either by phone or in person, enjoying some yummy food and sunshine and maybe catching a movie with my husband 🙂

  221. Would love to have a wonderful day with my 4 grown children & 8 grandchildren. That would make my day so perfect.

  222. For the first time in 5 years, I will be literally spending the day away on stripes, greys and tans! Thanks darling daughter, for my early gift vouchers!

  223. My Mother’s Day looks like a kids heaven , visiting airplanes and learning all we can about each one . Seeing the smile on my sons face is all I need for Mother’s Day .

  224. I hope to be treating my mum to a katies gift card I won, that would make Mum’s mothers day 300 times better (with cake of course!).

  225. I love hubby and kids preparing a yummy breakfast (fingers crossed pancakes and a pot of english breakfast tea!!!) and then opening up the mothers day gifts the kids have made from school and home. Then visiting my mum with lots of treats is the best way to spend mothers day x

  226. This Mothers Day i will spending it with my daughter (almost 4), my bubba boy (6 months) & my great husband. As long as there’s a sleep in, a Chai and a nice stroll somewhere, lots of cuddles and kisses And Im a happy Lady. Looking forward to mothers day with a new addition ? ?

  227. I just really, really want to sleep in! I have an 8-yr-old and 4-yr-old and the 4-yr-old still wakes up for a breastfeed at 4 am every morning!

  228. A lazy lie in morning with an abundance of snuggles from my 3 little treasures. A casual Family lunch with my mum. I want a day of no mum duties, so hopefully hubby will cook dinner, do the washing and get the uniforms and lunches ready for the next day. Or more likely I will cram those mummy duties into the previous day.

  229. As a mum with two disabled kids, my Mother’s Day is not different with other day. I never get special gift from my kids or my husband. I am busy to take care my family and make them happy. This Katies Gift Card would give me chance to update my wardrobe. Maybe , this year’s Mother’s Day would bring some indulging experience for me .

  230. Mothers day is quite a balance for Mother’s day
There 4 generations of women who come and play
So mum, dad and my family
My daughter whose a mother too, will come to me
We’ll eat , laugh and have some fun
    Time out relaxing for everyone

  231. A morning surf with my boy, then a girlie date of some description with my daughter, all while hubby does the washing/cooking/cleaning – bliss!

  232. Ok. My plan is to sleep in a little.. No.. To sleep through the night with the hubby getting up to breastfeed our little one.. And to attend to first born.. I do want a hand drawn piccie. But I want flowers and breakky and to go to lunch and drink a bottle. But that last but will wait.. Bress winery lunch then I’d like to relax while hubby goes to attend to his mumma.. Mines in Brissie 🙁
    Xx

  233. Oh I love the black zipper top! I need and want now! I will be celebrating mothers day with my mother in law this year, as my Mum is off being a grey nomad and living life in a motorhome around Oz! I will miss her so much and if I won this voucher I would definitely save it until she returns home so we could have a girls shopping day and she could spend up..and I could buy the black zipper top! win win 🙂 Hope you get your handrawn family portrait and more xx

  234. Looking forward to sharing the day with my beautiful daughter and her family as she celebrates her 3rd Mothers Day and enjoying my grandkids.

  235. I will spend it with my Mum and Dad. Just chatting about things in general, and looking at Mum’s colourful garden.

  236. Surrounded by my 3 beautiful children is always a blessing, spending the day doing something we all enjoy and just having fun ❤

  237. I’m really excited as this will be my first official Mother’s Day! I was pregnant last Mother’s Day so that didn’t really count, even though my step son and fiancé bought me a creme egg ?? This year I hope to spend the day soaking in the love our children bring to our lives every day! Although I absolutely LOVE surprises and gifts, I can’t get enough of family time and that’s all I ever want!

  238. The best gift would be for my husband and children to let me sleep in until at least 10.00am for once!

  239. I suppose it would be wrong to say I hope to spend Mother’s Day at Katies spending my $300 gift voucher? Just Joking! What I really hope for is a sleep in – but I know that’s not going to happen! So next best thing would be a nice cup of tea and breakfast in bed after I open all my lovely gifts that my kids have chosen and made for me themselves. Then we have to get ready to go out and spoil my mum and my husbands mum, because unfortunately Mother’s Day is not just all about me!

  240. Waking up with my two kitties lying next to me (as I do every morning!), and hopefully enjoying a yummy breaky together. And I always look forward to the homemade pressies from school and creche!

  241. It’s my sons birthday around the same time as Mothers Day each year so we do a combined lunch with my mum and MIL too – so not really a special day for me but glad to share it with my oldest (16 this year – yipes that is scary!!)

  242. I plan to spend the day with my husband and two toddlers. He always puts thought into the gifts and cards he gets for me from “the kids”. And hopefully I get a sleep in!

  243. I have blocked the day out from my horse competing schedule and I plan to do whatever hubby and my girls have planned 🙂 love the idea of a day with nothing I have to plan or organise, bliss!

  244. For the first time in about 5 years I’ll be spending Mother’s Day with my son – we’re going to the beach (one of my favourite places) for lunch! I can’t wait!

  245. Hello Chantelle,
With my son, who will give me lots of hugs and kisses, along with a hand made card from school that he can’t wait to give me. He always picks out a great gift from the Mothers Day stall they have at school as well.

  246. I shall be spending the day with one of my daughters and her family. The two Mums present will probably be making our own treats but it will be lovely to spend the day together with grand children too. Occasions like this make me sad that two of my children (and their families) live interstate and I can’t enjoy their company all together.

  247. On Mother’s Day I’ll get up at 9. There will be flowers on my bedside, coffee brewing gently and the aroma of scrambled eggs and bacon swirling in the air. After a leisurely shower alone I will take the time to get dressed uninterrupted. Following that I will be ready for my appointment with a hunky masseuse who will happily rub my feet for an extra half hour with no complaint. My boys will pick me up in a limo and take me shopping where no one will fight and all the clothes fit. Then at lunch we will laugh and laugh and laugh because none of this will happen. Except the laughter. That’s a given and just what I need.

  248. Im planning a lovely picnic with my Hubby and delightful daughter outdoors somewhere beautiful to enjoy the precious time and some laughs together. Chocolate and Flowers wouldn’t go astray either.
It’s becoming tradition that I get a lovely mug as well so looking forward to see what they choose for me this year.
Happy Mothers Day to all the beautiful mums out there!

  249. Give the kids a chore challenge created by me,

Leaving housework for them, finally, i’ll be free

Doing things i want, like a shopping spree!

  250. I plan to buy yellow flowers in honour of my mum and write a letter telling her all the things I’d share if she were here. 🙂

  251. My FIFO husband will be away, so the kids and I might go for a bike ride and seek some adventure. Then hoping to have dinner with my Mum too

  252. Apart from a sleep-in, spending the day with family and creating precious memories that will last for eternity.

  253. Morning cuddles from my 3 kids. Afternoon appreciation to our mothers. Night time gratitude for all I have.

  254. Well, there is normally and then there is this year. Normally its breakfast in bed (croissants and coffee – gotta have crumbs or else it doesn’t feel real!) with Mr 18, Mr SuperKombi and the furry cat model, then onto a pub lunch with said family members (minus the furry cat model). But this year Mr 18 is going away on a potentially dangerous excursion and all I wish for is that he will return home safely. I am willing to forgo the crumbs in bed and the boozy lunch and would be happy to go and eat worms in the far corner of the garden only to have my baby (rather tall these days and with a deep voice) come back to me in one piece and with all faculties in place. Sorry to put such a downer on this potentially cheerful day – its just that parenting never stops and Mother’s Day is also about having loved ones close-by and safe, isn’t it?

  255. A sleep in, family hike in the bush behind our house and a nice lunch… ohh and not having to cook dinner or make the kids lunches for the MOnday back at school!

  256. I plan on spending breakfast at home with my husband and 2 children then going to spend lunch with my mum at her nursing home. I plan on taking her favourites…lots of different cakes.

  257. Climbing a mountain to picnic with a beautiful view, a hot air balloon ride, or anything that’s adventurous and outdoors, as long as my family is sharing the experience with me.

  258. With my mum and brothers enjoying, coffee, flowers, beach walks, cakes, laughing, cooking dinner together and enjoying a glass of wine or two!

  259. Would love to have someone do a little housework…without complaining…and a lovely homecooked meal by my family would make my day….(as long as they do the dishes).

  260. I hope to spend mothers day with my family enjoying a nice picnic lunch together on the beach <3 love enjoying special moments with them.

  261. I hope to spend it with a quiet day with mum and my sister (plus her kids/husband) just have a quiet little picnic. We tend to have quiet mothers day, just relaxing, nothing over the top. Mum goes all out when she works, so it’s nice for her to just have a relaxing day off!

  262. I’m taking the whole family around to see her so we can cook a traditional Russian dish and remind her of her home country.

  263. I’m hoping to have a few minutes relaxing with with a cuppa this Mother’s Day. As we have committed to helping at a fundraising sausage sizzle on Mother’s Day we are going to celebrate with a fancy lunch the following Sunday.

  264. I’d love to spend Mother’s Day shopping at Katies to purchase a Waterfall Cardi, a Paisley Scarf and a Neutral Handbag too!

  265. Breakfast in bed, buffet lunch at the local club and dinner at the pub. It’ll be all about food!

  266. I plan to buy some lovely sweet treats from the Bakery and take them up to Mum and Dads and be joined by my sister and her 2 boys and we’ll all have a quality family morning tea, laughing about things we used to do as kids to drive my crazy lol.

  267. An empty quiet house, the entire series of Downtown Abbey on dvd, and an endless packet of Tim Tams. A girl can dream!

  268. Giving her a day of pampering followed by a makeover to make her feel that extra special!

Massages, facials, and a new set of nails followed by a style session and a whole lot of buying at Her favourite shop, Katies!

  269. Been wearing the same wardrobe for the past few years now so shopping for new clothes followed by a lunch with my girlies and mum would be amazing ?

  270. I’m hoping for no night-time wake ups with the toddler, a sleep-in until 7am would be glorious! Spending the day lounging around with my family playing board games and watching movies, finished off with dinner of fish and chips on the beach.

  271. I am having a family picnic with my mum and my grandma, looking forward to spoiling my favourite ladies!

  272. I love traditions! Breakfast in bed then we bake a cake then snuggle for a movie or two then we head out for a walk and enjoy the sunset 🙂 LOVE 🙂

  273. To be able to have someone cook, clean and serve me for the day would be nice, just like how I do this all for my family every other day of the year

  274. Doing nothing! We have so many things with kids n school n sport n fundraising that it would fabulous just to stay home!

  275. i will spend mothers day in new zealand, me and my kids are finally flying home for a visit and i will be meeting my niece and nephew for the first time! so my whole day will be bless with my wonderful family!

  276. Dinner on Saturday night with my mum & my sister & her family having a long overdue catch up. On Sunday my son has his first footy game for the season, so I’m looking forward to cheering him on, then spending the afternoon with my husbands family. I love spending good quality time with my family, it’s my perfect weekend?

  277. I don’t care what we do as long as we all spend the day together without the kids fighting would be perfect

  278. We don’t celebrate it! My kiddos are all under 5 and my mum isn’t with us anymore so, really, it’s never been a thing. Maybe when the kids are older if that is something they would like to do. Having said that, the ideal way to spend the day for me would be with a decent cup of coffee and a bit of uninterrupted crochet time 🙂

  279. I would love to have a drama free day with happiness, great food and no attitude from my 13 year old son. Also some quality time with my mum, she deserves some me time.

  280. I’m hoping for an 8am sleep in followed by a Delish homemade brekkie in a clean house…A girl can dream yeah?!

  281. I’m taking my Mum out for a nice lunch, followed by the ‘Beauty and the Beast’ ballet. And then some cocktails. A perfect girls afternoon with no husbands or kids!

  282. I am driving back home to mumma bear to spend the day with her, and treat with love and surprises! We will have a cute picnic down the beach with my sisters, and laugh at our past and present selves!

  283. Children’s little feet running into the bedroom, bringing breakfast in bed. The excitement of opening their card creations and the present they have bought with dad. It’ll be slippers again (have seven pairs) as unlike our children, my husband hasn’t inherited the ‘imaginative gift gene’!!!

  284. Sleeping, oh to not wake up every couple of hours throughout the night would be amazing. Started weaning our 18 month old Friday night hope we can get an uninterrupted nights sleep by next weekend!

  285. Breakfast in bed and then spend the morning at the beach swimming and fishing, just awesome.

  286. When posed with the question, how to spend Mother’s Day,
My mind suddenly races; could I have it all my own way?
Breakfast in bed, what an indulgent notion,
A massage perhaps with my favourite moisture lotion!
A spot of housework undertaken by the kids of course,
Or a male au pair… maybe not hubby may want a divorce!
High tea? A spa? Or Lunch? A pair of slippers perhaps?
No! Just a cuddle, a cuppa, with my kids and a lovely relax!

  287. While my brother and sister are away,
I will be left to ensure my mum has a fabulous Mothers Day!

    We will start with brunch,
With lots of yummy dishes to munch,
We will drink a few glasses of wine,
Which will give us just enough time,

To make Skype calls to my brother and sister,
Who will tell us of their travels and how much they miss her (mum).

We have so much love for our mum,
It’s important to tell her no matter where we are.

  288. We are taking out mum out and what will hopefully be a beautiful day. She deserves the world and means to much to everyone. She never lets anyone down, I love her to bits!

  289. I hope to come close to showing my mum just how much joy she brings to her children’s and grandchildren’s lives.

  290. just sitting around Mum’s house enjoying watching the looks of love shared between us and the family – priceless

  291. I’m going to ditch my low-carb diet by stuffing my face on all the pasta at my favourite local Italian restaurant, washed down with a carb infused bottle of sauvignon blanc. Bon appetite!!

  292. A sleep in, followed by a day of relaxing with a good book and later that night, a roast and a few glasses of wine.

  293. I hope that it can be a day where my mum doesn’t have to do anything she doesn’t want to and just rest and do things she enjoys rather than having to work all day long!

  294. A sleep in with a coffee and hopefully a handmade gift from the kids in bed. Breakfast of pancakes in a house full of laughter rather than bickering kids!

  295. I plan to spend Mother’s Day putting on a high tea with champagne in the botanical gardens in Hervey Bay for my beautiful mum with my 2 beautiful babies and my sister with her 2 children who are coming up from Brisbane. Can’t wait! ?

  296. I will be working, this will be the sixth Mother’s Day in the last 9 years I have worked. But unfortunately our defence men and women want fed everyday of the year 😉

  297. How did I not know this either??? As a bigger girl myself- next time I walk past Katie’s I’m headed in! This year I’m hoping to spend Mother’s Day well! My family of five has had a bit of a illness streak with coughs and the flu. I’m ready to be well! My eldest have Auskick in the morning, then we will spend the day visiting relatives, mums, in laws, Nans. It’s going to be great ?

  298. I am hoping for a relaxing day at home being pampered by my family. it will be burnt toast, cold tea, handmade cards and takeaway for dinner, but I will love every moment.

  299. Mothers Day will be spent with ALL my family celebrating how awesome my mum is. It’s been a tough few years but she’s a trouper and we all live her to bits ❤️
And, Oh I really really hope this *subtle hint* works for my family !

  300. I’d love some quality “us” time together, maybe we’ll glam up and hit the Gold Class Cinemas catching a great flick, with our nice new outfits, wine and gourmet snacks!

  301. Well I knows it not with a sleep in because we have my daughters soccer at 7:30, so probably maccas hotcakes 🙂 Followed by gymnastics with the eldest and then I have to take her to a movie shoot (a local zombie movie) – so we should be home by 4pm! I am pretty sure someone is taking me out for dinner – they better be anyway!

  302. I’ve made my mum a jar of memories; good, bad and indifferent from my perspective (then and now). Because parenting is such a multitude of emotions and experiences and I want her to know we were right there with her 100% of the time and think she’s amazing.

  303. With my hubby and 2 adult children enjoying an all you can eat Breakfast Buffet at our local restaurant!! yum yum!

  304. “For my mother I would love to give this,
a pamper day for her in pure bliss.
With her feet up and in her night gown,
There will be smiles all around.”

  305. Spending time with my kids. It’s a great time for reflection, and a great excuse to have a little me time, with a side of relaxation 🙂

  306. Will be having lunch out with hubby and adult kids. Will be also lighting candles for my amazing mum, this year will be the first time in 59 years we won’t be together.

  307. With my mum and dad and my daughter and her family at our place. We’re making a beef stew in the crockpot and dad’s bringing the wine.

  308. A delicious meal, a massage and plenty of cuddles with my gorgeous 4 month old and new hubby – my first Mothers Day, I can’t wait!

  309. Oh, I’d love to win this for my Mumma! ?
For Mother’s Day, we are going to out to lunch in a beautiful botanical garden, hopefully the weather will be kind, and then we’ll all pitch in and cook Mum dinner. ???

  310. I just hope my dog doesn’t use the kitchen chairs as a booster, launching pad for getting up on the kitchen counter to destroy the ENTIRE meal I spent hours preparing… Anything but that & I’m happy!

  311. I’d like to spend it taking out my mother-in-law as my Mom’s overseas but I know my mother-in-law won’t want to go out, so I’ll buy her flowers and help in the garden and the spend the day with her hopefully making her feel special and valued as she is a great mom and mom-in-law!

  312. I hope on mother’s day I awaken to find it is raining money all over my back yard. Of course I would share some with my mum… We’d definitely have to go shopping and brunch.

  313. I am hoping to have a relaxing day with a family. I am not planning anything but I love surprises! Just recently I realized I should appreciate life, health and love I am receiving much more than I did… I just choose to be grateful for what we have as a family…

  314. I will be making mango ice cream cake with my daughter on Mothers Day as its her birthday. Fun mummy daughter time and we get to eat ice cream as well. Woohoo!

  315. will visit my mum’s grave and lay down her favourite flowers- carnations. Afterwards will curl up on the couch watching our favourite movie – DIRTY DANCING

  316. A sleep in would be lovely, a long hot shower, big cuddles from the kids, a big hot coffee, no fights & loud voices, a clean & tidy house, dinner made for me & a nice freshly made bed (that I haven’t had to make) to sleep in at the end of the day!

  317. I’m hoping to be with my daughter and grand daughter , laughing and enjoying ourselves , creating new memories .

  318. Coffee with real milk (instead of strawberry milk), roast dinner cooked by the kids (or I’ll settle for Maccas), a cute card (but I’ll be happy with an “I love you”), a great movie (Civil War sounds like fun)… Isn’t it awesome just being a Mum?!

  319. I would love to be up and out on my way to the coast I love spending the day at the beach for a early morning walk, Brunch and a walk back to the car. Have a swim and just sit and relax, read my book and go home to take away. Perfect.

  320. I hope that I get a sleep in and home made eggs Benny for Brekky. Perhaps an uninterrupted 2 hours to watch a movie. 5 minutes for an uninterrupted shower. And some kind of dinner that I don’t have to share – or wash up after. That would be bliss!

  321. I’d love to be home with mum but won’t be. This $300 would go straight to her. I bought her a dress from Katies, one of the only places she’ll go clothes shopping. Mum has a heap of expenses and never buys herself clothes (seriously, every occasion we have I take her shopping and buy it). I’d love to be able to gift her guilt free shopping so she can enjoy fashion all again.

  322. My Mother’s Day will be spent being a Mum, Hubby will be working so I will ferry my 3 kids to my middle son’s first AusKick footy session, and straight after whisk them off to a birthday party at Bounce (indoor trampolining). After that just come home and chill but you know what I’ll be doing what I love, being a Mum!

  323. I would love just an extra hours sleep in the pancakes made by the kiddies in the shape of an M with strawberry and cream smothered all over then we all snuggle in bed while my two year old rips my head off as he thinks that’s being loving.
I am imagining my kids getting along and not arguing for the whole day (wishful thinking). Finally I get to spend sometime with my mum whilst my Dad and Hubby cook as lunch or Dinner! It’s the small things!

  324. I’ll be remembering my mum, (who passed away 36 years ago), surrounded by my son, my grandsons, their mum, her mum, and my dear husband. I know I will be feeling totally blessed…

  325. I rarely get to see my mum as I live on the other side of the state to her. This Mother’s Day like every other time I’ll be driving to her place in the country with a couple of bottles of her favourite red wine and cheese. We’ll light the fire and have a good old girly catch up and gossip! Love my mum!

  326. I would like to think that it would be with my Mum, Nanna & my children but unfortunately it will be at work. I am hoping however that the day will go quickly and I can enjoy dinner with everyone 🙂

  327. I think we are going to Sizzler for their breakfast! Hoping to get out of cooking dinner too 🙂

  328. Real coffee in bed. My husband and I both not working (we are shift workers). Kids and husband all in our bed talking and laughing and relaxing all together. Bliss.

  329. Well, I’ve just found out this week that I’m pregnant, so Mother’s Day is probably going to be a huge card, as hubby and I have bought our mums ‘nana’ cards to announce the news. So I’m guessing mother’s day is going to be full of craziness and tears and I’m both excited and terrified haha (this will be our first).
Other than that, I’m hoping for a lot of sleep! 🙂

  330. I hope to spend it with all 4 generations of girls in my family – my super grandmother who is 94, my wonderful mum and my gorgeous daughter. That’s the perfect recipe for a lovely day with lots of laughs!

  331. We can’t afford an exotic location like Paris which has been a dream of mine for a long time so hubby and my son came up with this plan, we intend to enjoy a little taste of France at our local park. Croissants, packed picinic lunch consisting of French bread, cheese and Fruit. For added touch hubby has purchased red/white checkered tablecloth, he will buy fresh flowers and has purchased a cd for back ground music. My Mother’s Day dream is about to come true. Feeling loved

  332. With my mum and siblings in NSW and hubby working in Tasmania at the moment, I will be spending Mothers Day at home in Melbourne with my kids and mum and dad in-law, loving and being loved and probably eating way too much.

  333. Reflect on the year gone, and appreciating how much joy (and heartache) my 4 children give me.

  334. Quietly… Breaky made my someone other than me (even if its tea and toast), morning tea at home with OUR mums and then a lovely quiet arvo on the couch with the kiddos. Oh and cups of tea brought to me when requested, or even better when not requested. Ha!

  335. with the family, hubby cooking, kids behaving, and maybe a cock-tail in hand relaxing by the pool,

  336. Unfortunately I won’t get to spend mother’s day with my mum this year, but all I hope is that my card and gift will bring a smile to her face.

  337. My kids are 20, 21 and nearly 23 two of them will be returning home from a music festival on Sunday and I will be working till 5. So they are going to cook me dinner on Sunday night and hang out with me then :). It’s hard to get all three in the same place at the same time!

  338. With cuddles and Kisses,
    and not do the dishes.
    Scones for morning tea,
    To go with my coffee.
    A walk in the rain,
    Though the kids might complain.
A sneaky little gift and card,
A handmade keepsake, that I’ll never discard.

  339. Hubby doing the wake up routine with bubby and after perhaps another hour nap for me hubby and my 21 month old come in with their ukuleles and play me a song. I’m thinking it’ll be Old McDonald. I know they’ve been practicing. It’s going to be a tradition. Can’t wait xxx

  340. Joining my mother for lunch in our gorgeous Katie’s outfits. I have shopped there for decades as you sell much nicer clothes than other stores.

  341. Mothers Day 2016 we will have with my Mum – who is 88, our kids and grandkids…My sisters and their extended families are coming to our home too. Roast lunch followed by super duper afternoon tea… Photos galore – who could want more?

  342. I hope to be flown to northern France in a private jet to taste champagne and savour mouthwatering morsels prepared by Chef Paul Bucose, finishing off with a dessert by Adrian Zumbo. Well you did ask.

  343. I am hoping for pancakes for breakfast, some hand made gifts from my kids and fingers crossed, the kids don’t fight!

  344. Hugs, flowers and chocolates are nice, but my ultimate Mother’s day would be… a Katies shopping spree!

  345. Just pretending to actually stay asleep past 8am while listening to the kids giggle in the kitchen as they get pancakes ready to ‘surprise’ me. Then its about the day together. A beautiful walk, some good food and a movie or two. Just piled up together on the sofa, enjoying the moment, those warm little bodies and feeling grateful.

  346. I’d hope to spend it lying in bed all day watching tv and eating chocolate but don’t think that’s going to happen being a single mum of a demanding 9 year old son.

  347. My children are away,I volunteered to work so that other Mum’s could be with their family.I hope that all Mum’s have a great day

  348. This year my siblings and I are planning a surprise day trip away to the Hot Springs! Mum is in for a full day of pampering and wall to wall relaxation, with full body massages, sauna and hot springs access, manicure & pedicure, and all the champagne she likes! Then its off to a delicious 3 course dinner at her favourite restaurant. We’ve never done this before so here’s hoping its a great day for a great lady 🙂

  349. Well, I hope it’s a sunny day as Master 5 has announced he wants us to make a picnic to take to the botanical gardens and we must pretend we are lost in a jungle. So I’m hoping for an adventure!!

  350. My gorgeous three plan to bring me breakfast in bed. I’ll then marvel over the little gifts they bought me from the school’s Mother’s Day stall, and the four of us will head out to the granny flat and all pile on my parent’s bed, to love on my mum. After that we have a special Mother’s Day church service to attend, and will head out after for a picnic lunch 🙂

  351. like a rainbow on a cloudy day my mum is a unique and
breathtakingly beautiful woman who deserves all I can give her
especially on mother’s day a day I hope to spoilt her during

  352. It’s my first year as a single mum so I’m getting all my fellow single mums, women with Angel mothers, FIFO wives and women who can’t be with their mothers together. I’ve organized a sausage sizzle so other mothers can relax, catch up and watch their most treasured ones play happily with other children. Celebrating what we ‘do’ have not what we don’t?

  353. Spending time with my beautiful family – no housework, just time together. Looking forward to Mothers Day.

  354. We’ll be going out to a restaurant for a Buffet style Breakfast where we receive a glass of champagne upon arrival. Then our beautician friend is treating my mum to a facial and massage.

  355. With two children and my husband and then go out in evening to share a nice meal together. Plus have breakfast in bed. I miss my mum.

  356. Sleeping in, breakfast in bed and a relaxing day with my boys (3) enjoying all my handmade gifts from them.

  357. In the backyard, enjoying a picnic and some fun ball games, but they’re saying rain so fingers crossed for a sunny one!

  358. Being woken up with burnt toast and cold coffee is wonderful on Mothers Day. It’s the effort and act of love that means the world to me.

  359. Hoping to wake up to the sounds of and smells of a lovely breakfast being cooked then spending an hour so lounging in my pjs eating it in bed with a silent household (HHAHahha that’s never going t happen)

  360. I’m organising a picnic lunch down the river and hoping it will be fine. Beautiful weather lately and I’ve been baking all day!! Roll on Mother’s Day.

  361. We are going to go have a Mothers Day breakfast at a favourite cafe close to home. I will be taking my mum along as well so we both get to enjoy the spoils of someone else preparing breakfast and relaxing and enjoying the view. We can’t wait. Happy Mothers Day to all mums and you Chantelle.

  362. Have an easy but amazing family bbq with mum, and my sister (plus hubbies and kids) Mum can relax and spend time with all of us without lifting a finger ?

  363. I spent time with my mum today going through my gift to her – a family history profile. So nice chatting about her family, memories and piecing puzzles together!! And Sunday my boys and I are heading beach side to stuff ourselves with breakkie and coffee and a whole lot of sunshine and nothing. Lush.

  364. Mother’s Day is a very special day, four generations of mothers gather for a delicious lunch surrounded by all the family making it a fantastic day creating more priceless memories.

  365. A 7am sleep in (yes, I said sleep in and 7am in the same sentence!), woken up by kisses and cuddles from my best friend, my little girl, finished off with a dinner out (so we don’t have to do dishes!) with my daughter, my beautiful Mum and my lovely Nanna.. two strong women who’ve helped shaped me into being the best Mum I can be.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mummas x

  366. I would love to spend my Mother’s Day with my tiny ones having fun. The day would be even more wonderful if I can do as I have asked the tiny ones and be particularly kind to each other for the day. A day letting myself off the mummy guilt hook is one I am looking forward to!

  367. Together with my best friend, my MUM who I adore, celebrating this special day for sure. So selfless is she, to put her first for a change I’d love to see. HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY. LOVE YOU MUM

  368. Being a mum, Mother’s Day will be spent enjoying being a mum, and enjoying being with my Mum ??
We are having a lovely lunch at a Winery in the Swan Valley

  369. Appreciating how lucky I am to have my sons spoil me on Mother’s Day, some people never have the opportunity to become Mum

  370. Love to spend it without kids interrupting me,
Yep….a simple uninterrupted number two or wee,
Without any chauffeuring, refereeing or feeding,
Listening to nagging, whinging, complaints or pleading,
No cooking, cleaning or a sleepless night,
Peace and quiet is all I ask…..can’t take anymore sibling fights,
A sleep in, some quiet time and cooked meal is what I ask,
Along with hubby taking over with all the household tasks,
So then I can spend Mother’s Day as all mothers should,
Thinking that being a mum is really so GOOD!

  371. a relaxing sleep in, to be woken with breakfast in bed and handmade cards, smothered with kisses and cuddles from my 4 precious babies and then a bit of retail therapy to brighten my day

  372. We will be having a lovely picnic at the cemetery where my Nan rests. This is the first year without her ♡♡♡

  373. I want chocolate for brekkie!
A sampler box of truffles, chocolate bark, gooey centred delights and 24 carat gold dipped chocolate and I don’t want to share with anyone! (in a household of 7, chocolate’s usually gone in 60 seconds!)
I’ve been an angel with diet and exercise this year but it’s time to kick of my running shoes, put the dumbbells down and indulge my one special day! 🙂

  374. Breakfast in bed,
    lunch by the river,
    being spoilt rotten,
    going out for dinner,
    surrounded by family,
    Mother’s Day couldn’t get better!

  375. I will spend mother’s day trying to give as much back to my mother as she has given to me throughout my life. I probably can’t come close to repaying her for being the best mom in the world, but I’ll try be the best son and make her as proud as possible and make sure I let her know how appreciated and loved she is.

  376. We’ll be going to swimming lessons and then the day is all about me, not that my 2 year old will understand…but he’s ‘bought’ me a present and is ‘taking me to lunch’ and then we’ll probably go to the park.

  377. I’d be thrilled to have a lil relaxing sleep in and handmade cards from the kiddos. They are really super excited about it this year which is so lovely. My lil man said, “I just can’t wait for Mother’s Day…i can’t wait to give you your present!” He followed this up with, “Don’t ever stop kissing me, Mum!” so I feel like I got my present early. x

  378. Just lots of kisses and cuddles and perhaps a nice walk in the countryside. Oh and plenty of cake.

  379. I’d like to pack a picnic and head out to a nice spot, enjoy the day and family, relaxing and having fun!

  380. I will be on the phone to my mum wishing her a great mothers day and seeing how she likes the gorgeous chocolate bouquet i sent her as she lives interstate.. My hubby and i will have a quiet brunch hoping i am a mum soon..

  381. BEING MUM, WIFE, HOUSEKEEPER, COOK, CHAUFFEUR,

    EDUCATOR, SPORTS-COACH, PARAMEDIC, FINANCIER;

    PSYCHOLOGIST, COMPUTER WHIZZ, GARDENER TOO,

    A SLEEP-IN’S WHAT I’D LOVE TO DO!

  382. The morning Mother’s Day Classic,
Then High Tea – it’s fantastic!
A takeaway at home with us all,
    It’s a day to have a ball.

  383. A simple wish – time alone with no-one whinging or crawling over me.

Don’t get me wrong. I love my boys. Some days, however, a trip to the toilet is the only alone time I get!

  384. I hope to spend it relaxing with my Mum, putting flowers on my Gran’s grave and eating delicious treats !

  385. My daughter and I are going out for lunch then the movies, only downside is my son won’t be with us this year, first time in 29 years he won’t be home.

  386. My Mama lives in Singapore. So for Mother’s Day, I will be posting her a bunch of personalised fridge magnets that I ordered online and will catch up with her over video call. Hearing and seeing my Mama’s voice is the next best thing since I can’t be with her in person.

  387. I hope to take my mother to high tea at the Windsor as neither of us have ever been!

  388. I just want to have breakfast with my mum, spend the day lounging with my boys and hopefully, cross your fingers, they’ll take the bins out without me asking them to xx

  389. Im looking forward to spending the day with my husband and two adult daughters in the Swan Valley in WA. We will visit a few wineries and sample some wines, go to the Nougat factory and Margaret River Chocolate factory and have some treats. The thing Im looking forward to the most though is just spending some time together and enjoying on anothers company.

  390. its my first Mothers Day and I just want to spend it with my perfect little family… a yummy brekkie and lots of cuddles would be perfect! My mummy is in NZ so its all about me this year!

  391. Having a sleep in is definitely not overrated. If that was followed by a brunch of eggs and bacon, that would be bliss!

  392. The best gift of all would be when I finally drag myself out of bed and walk past the kitchen is that the sink be free of dirty dishes. It really doesn’t take much to make my day perfect.

  393. It’s my birthday on Mother’s Day!… a six-yearly double delight! So it’s lunch out and a craft market with the children then a family dinner Sunday night!

  394. Endless cuddles & kisses from my 3 little ones and opening the pressies they bought from school absolutely love what they buy as it’s from the heart

  395. as long as my children are by my side I am happy to celebrate mothers day anyway I can

  396. With the beautiful girls who made me a mum. We’re off to the cinema, not to Zootopia or Kungfu Panda but Captain America Civil War my kids are awesome!

  397. I hope to spend the day doing absolutely NO housework, but cuddling up on the couch watching a movie. Perfect!

  398. Quickly, Ive a heavy heart as my beautiful son is deployed elsewhere, the life of a Soldiers mum is never easy at this time of year.

  399. I’ll be spending Mothers day with Mum,
a wonderful day of family fun.
Lots of laughs and food to eat,
home made cakes and yummy treats.
We all sit around and chat,
    talking about this and that.
    Reminiscing about yesteryear,
great memories that we hold dear.
    A beautiful time that’s such a pleasure,
a day the whole family treasures!

  400. I hope to spend Mother’s Day not spending. All I need on Mother’s Day can’t be bought.

  401. As each Mothers Day arrives year after year I love being with family sitting back, watching with pride and adding a few more wrinkles. Each line represents my worry, laughter, stress, yawns, smiles, frowns and happiness!

  402. I hope to get up early and sneak in a peaceful coffee before retreating back to bed to wake up hubby to make me a cooked breakfast with the kids! I like to spend the rest of the day pottering around the house and hanging out with the kids. Later, sitting back with a glass of wine and enjoying the one and only dinner my husband can cook well – crispy skin roast chicken (Jamie Oliver recipe). It’s the best!

  403. A Mother’s day sleep-in would be grand, handmade pressies and breakfast in bed, toast, eggs and flowers picked by hand.

  404. Travelling to mums with the kids and taking my beautiful mum to her much loved beach which she never goes to for a picnic wheat her permitting where we meet up with my sister who lives interstate with her kids and mum ( surprise ) as she doesn’t know

  405. Woken up with cuddles, then left to return to sleep. Helpers in the kitchen for lunch. A glass of wine with dinner. Smiles through the whole day.

  406. All I have asked of my kids is a sleep in and no fighting. I’m hopeful of the sleep and I miiggghhhtt get to lunch time without them fighting.

  407. Spending the day with my husband and two boys. Lunch with my mother and sisters in law. Then try and make contact my beautiful mum who is living the dream and travelling our beautiful country with my Dad. They are fairly remote so phone service is not guaranteed. But if I do make contact I will be telling my Mum how much she means to me and just how much I appreciate all she does and has sacrificed over the years. And that I simply love her for always just being the best mum no matter how old we both are getting.

  408. To spend it with family. A nice restaurant so I dont have to clean up after 🙂 perfect.

  409. I’m hoping that, to say thanks for the 364 days of the year mum is kind, generous, supportive and utterly selfless, tomorrow we can treat her from breakfast in bed through to a sumptuous dessert after a yummy dinner!
