Forget handbags, jewels and perfume… all I really want for Mother’s Day is some love, some laughter, a little bit of sleep and a whole bunch of warm & fuzzies.

I want my boys within reach all day. I want to sit and watch them play and smile and laugh. I want lots of hugs and “I love you Mum”'s. I want to relish the best things that have ever happened to me and my greatest achievement. Yep forget the presents. Have a happy Mother's Day! A-M xx
in the morning i just want cuddles with my boys under a warm doona, theni am going to go and sit with my nana in hospital with my mum…

But a nice cookbook would be lovel too.
We are moving house tomorrow. Yes, the big move is finally here! We will probably sleep in on Sunday, due to sheer exhaustion. Then we are having a huge family lunch at Bathers Pavilion in Balmoral. Wish us luck looking for a car spot. We should probably park in the city and walk from there 😉

That are the words I don't want to hear from my mum. It's the same procedure every year. She always says that she doesn't want anything than love and nice children. And at the end she is disappointed that she's getting nothing… so this year she'll get beautiful flowers, that's it.
I want winter pjs & a cowhide rug.
I want exactly what you want, as well as a little sleep in and breakfast in bed. That's all I ask!

That sounds like an ideal Mother's Day to me! I'd love a sleep-in followed by breakfast in bed and a day off parenting duties! We'll see how much of it pans out 🙂 We are taking my Mother In Law out for dinner so that should be nice.
Ditto Chantelle! I'm not a big fan of how commercial Mother's Day has become… sure, I love all the pretty things out in the shops as a result of Mother's Day, but I certainly don't expect presents. Hope you have a lovely day with your little Lacey :o)
I love that mums are celebrated – in our house I don't lift a finger all day – except a finger to my iPad or phone!!!

Wonderful blog, so glad I stumbled upon it! I would love to wake up on Mother's day and not be overwhelmed to tears by the love my kids show me.
All I wanted was a sleep past 3am….but no, it wasn't to be. I've been up since 3am again!
