We’ve {finally} arrived!

Hello from America!

We finally made it. I have no idea how many days ago we left, or even how many hours ago that was!

It’s just after 6am here. Lacey woke at 4am asking for toast. We tried to hush her back to sleep, but then I realised that the poor mite had no idea what time it was and was probably searching for some dinner {cos that’s what most Aussie’s were doing at that time?}… so we threw on some layers and went hunting for the 24 hour cafe. Funnily enough we were the only guests out and about…

I haven’t met any bloggers yet, but the conference starts tonight. I’m sure that many people that I’ve seen out and about are Mummy Bloggers {or Mommy Bloggers} but I guess I’ll find out tonight.

Our resort is beyond amazing. The photo above is from the foyer, but it doesn’t do it justice. I’ve left my good camera’s cord at home {I’m a hopeless packer! Seriously!} so I’ll just share iPhone & Bloggie Touch photos until we get back.

We’re off for waffles shaped like Mickey and then hopefully to the Magic Kingdom by boat. Lacey is dying to meet Mickey and although everything here is shaped like him {the signs, the lamps, even towels were rolled into Mickey!} she hasn’t spotted him yet {we only got in at 7pm at night}.

Until next time,

P.S. This really is the Happiest Place on Earth. Even when I had to sign in at reception they don’t put a cross and say ‘sign here’, instead the staff draw a picture of Mickey and ask you to sign. Crazy fun! x

  1. so exciting.
i fondly remember my stay at the disneyland hotel in hongkong pre-baby. even without kids with us it was still awesome.

  2. How fantastic! I know you will have an amazing time. I'd love to hear how Mommy Bloggers are different from Mummy Bloggers. And I don't just mean the spelling. The community must be absolutely huge over there…

  3. Welcome to our side of the world! (Yes, you have readers everywhere!) Wishing you a wonderful time with your family and the Mommy Bloggers.

Ask your fellow mummy bloggers, someone may have a card reader. The memory card from your good camera pops into the card reader & the card reader attches to your computer via usb port. It's a common device – you might be surprised, I bet someone has one! Or maybe even at the front desk!! Have a wonderful time!!!

  5. sounds brilliant and so much fun!
