Touch It!

H

ubby and I are different in many many ways. One is that he’s a boy and I’m a girl, and the other is that he likes to open things immediately-if-not-sooner and I like to wait {sometimes}. I can have parcels sitting unopened for hours, perhaps days but he’ll come and along and need to unpack them… like now!

Telstra sent me their new little dooby-whacker, a T-Touch Tab {as they like to call it} and it sat unopened for days on the table. If Hubby was home he would have whipped that baby out before the door had closed on the courier. He’d call and ask, “Have you opened it yet?”

I hadn’t. I opened a few hours before the guy from Telstra was going to run us through using it, and that was just to charge it. I was excited to play with it, but to be honest I’ve hardly had time to brush my teeth {ewww gross – don’t worry, I have!} over the past couple of weeks with Hubby away. I did mop the floors last week and scrub the shower though. I was super proud of that effort. Anyways… moving on.

I recently got an iPhone and that took me almost forever to get used to. I’ve been a PC type gal for years, and the swiping and swiftness of Apple products has my head in a spin at first, but I have to say I’m converted. So if I hadn’t used Apple I think using the Telstra T-Touch Tab {tongue twister anyone?} would have been second nature. I would have been all over it.

It’s snazzy, it’s light, it’s smooth… it’s got capabilities that the iPad doesn’t {not that I’d really know, not owning an Apple iPad – but Hubby told me so}. It’s got a camera and a video camera, and it can make phone calls too… and it’s also got a smaller price tag {at $299}.

Thanks Telstra for sending it over. If you want to find out more you can see here. Telstra sent me the T-Touch Tab to review free of charge. Everything you read above is my own personal opinion and experience. xx

  1. I must admit, I'm a bit like your hubby. As soon as the courier has left I'm jumping for joy and trying to find the scissors so I can open my little gift 🙂

  2. too funny! if its craft or clothes related it's opened in a flash! if it's the telstra modem they sent out a few months ago it sat in the box for a good month before we opened it! my hubby has no internet in techno gadgets which is a shame, his new job offered him an iphone or blackberry and he chose the boring old blackberry! so now I have to go and get my own iphone!!!!!!!!!!

    corrie;)

  3. I have to admit that I've become a bit like you, just can't be bothered with the effort (and the rubbish!) involved in opening parcels. In fact, as I type, I have a parcel of hand made soaps sitting on the table, which I really should open and put away, but why, when I can save the pleasure for later?

  4. I am good at opening parcels, then leaving them untouched!! Technology, so unexciting for me, but yes, my husband, he'd have it charged up & ready to go, after researching all the 'how to' information before the parcel even arrived!! Clearly he has more time on his hands!!
Want any tips on being a solo mummy, just ask, i do it about 60% of the year with 4 children. All about routine, love Posie
