This + That.

A little update is in order.

Okay… so my hair. It’s okay now. It’s not the ideal colour, but it’s actually washed up alright. This photo was taken earlier this week when I was talking to my sister on Skype. I didn’t know she took a screen shot, until it arrived in my inbox. Lacey was really sick so looks pretty washed out, but you can get an idea of my hair from it.

I haven’t written a letter or returned to the salon. On Friday I realised that he (Vincie) had also burnt my scalp. It’s scabbed (lovely!) up now. It’s a bit bigger than the size of a 5 cent piece. Ouch. It was burning as he was colouring but I thought it was just that normal uncomfortable tingle that normally happens. Oh well.

My little Lacey has been very sick. It’s been a tough week for her, and it’s sad to see her so unwell. We’re just waiting on some results and keeping her hydrated in the meantime. Poor little munchkin.

She seems to be on the mend now. Last night she just suddenly perked up and started pottering around. I’m hoping today she really is back to her normal self.

My phone has gone to phone heaven. It doesn’t work at all. It’s such a beautiful phone, and it’s so sad. I’m am so hopeless with anything technological. My laptop. Phones. Argh!

I am looking forward to this long weekend. It’s so nice to have that extra day off. Thank you Queen for having a birthday. xx

  1. I hope Lacey is on the mend and back to normal soon.

And write that letter – at the very least so you can get it out and they can get it right for some other victim (customer!).
    xo

  2. Glad Lacey is doing better. Its so hard to feel anything but upset when your little on is sick..

    have a great weekend xoxo

  3. ring the salon – they will offer to have u come back free of charge (if they have any sense) but dont feel u have to. when u call be firm and mention that ur scalp was burnt and that the stylist was a tosser (excuse the phrase). be direct and just say that u will never recommend anyone nor will u return.

  4. I understand exactly where you're coming from with your hair. Ugh! I'm a big letter writer and I also spread the word. But I've also been known to write letters when I feel people go above and beyond and do a fantastic job for me. =)

I hope Lacey is feeling back to her normal self VERY soon, if not already.

Are you thinking of updating your phone or going with the same model again, just newer?

Hope your weekend is full of wonderful events!

  5. Hey Dorsey!

My sister is sending me three blackberry's from the States. So I'll see if any of those will work in Australia. If not, I'll just get the same phone as before. A Nokia e71.

    How are you?
