The two week wait.

I love Mondays, the start of new months, and even better, the start of a new year. I’m always filled with hope and excitement… anything is possible.

This year was different. I was happy for a new year to be at my feet, but I also felt like life was on hold. I’ve felt like that a lot lately. Waiting for life to return to normal.

Normal is when Hubby returns. Are you tired of my sooking? I tired of being a sook. I really am. In just two weeks, my life will return to normal. I can’t wait! {exclamation point necessary!}.

Is there anything you’re waiting for right now? A parcel to be delivered? The kettle to boil? Your little one to go off to sleep? What are you waiting for?

  1. I am waiting and it is killing me. I am waiting for my 12 week scan next week so I can start telling people. I am not a good waiter, never have been. I just hope the next 6 months goes quickly….

  2. Ha, you'd make a dreadful Army wife, my husabnd is away for 3 years!! Yes, living interstate, being deployed to war zones & constantly away on course, exercise & training. I'll see him for a weekend in 2 weeks, then not again until Easter, then a week in the middle of the year!! We have the world's most resiliant & amazing children too. Happy waiting!!
First up i have a high schooler waiting to start in about 10 hours, then 3 primary schoolers waiting to resume school on Tuesday (yes, ACT is STILL on school holidays) so all milestones to help the time tick by before we get Daddy back. Love Posie
