  1. That is lovely. It was a lovely reminder for me that the every day happenings are important, even if they are common. Thank you for sharing!

  2. Beautiful Chan. I think it’s the way my youngest tells me he loves me and comes running for a hug every 10 minutes or so. Just makes my heart melt and places a huge grateful smile upon my face. I also love the flowers that have opened up in my garden brings me joy or the way there is a rainbow after rain and the way I was Blessed with 5 children and a wonderful husband makes my heart dance with love. Oh so many ordinary things bring me pure happiness. xx

  3. On Wednesday I had treatment after which we went and grabbed a coffee and sat in the park outside my sons Uni. He wasn’t expecting us and eventually he walked through the gates with a group of friends and spotted us and ran straight over and kissed me on the top of the head and as this 6’4″, 25 year old man ran towards me I suddenly wondered when we had criss-crossed from my little blonde boy running for kisses, to saying goodbye around the corner from the school gates and now back to letting the World see! It was an ordinary but extraordinary moment for me….

  4. Love the video and the book idea! It’s Grateful Friday here at work where we share what we are grateful for this week so this post was great timing for me – must share with my team.

  5. What a lovely video and a good reminder that every day is special. I loved the bit when they were outside and the baby gave her ima a hug and just as the baby said oooh so did the mom LOL

  6. I love dinner time, even though it can be frustrating that the kids (aged 4 & 2) take forever to eat, some of the conversations are just priceless!! We just talk about everyday things and it is so hard not to laugh!!

  7. I love how our 15 month granddaughter jabbers and we find she is really saying something. How she brings me a barrette to put in her hair because she wants to be pretty. How she struts when we admire her. I love how my 3 year old grandson throws a Frisbee, just the right way, and exclaims with delight, I can throw it! I love how he delights in himself for something he accomplished. I love how my 7 year old grandson says a 60 piece puzzle is too hard for him, then he tries it anyway, and realizes it wasn’t that hard. I love how the three of them watch and listen when I plant a seed, sweep the floor, do the dishes, and they want to help. The pleasures in all of these things, are simple, don’t cost anything, and we all learn from each other,, priceless.
