Sunday 10am

I rolled over + glanced at the alarm clock.
8:43am.
It was a miracle of sorts.
But to be expected after the restless night before.
“I hurt my tail,” she cried on and off.
I gently told her that she didn’t have a tail,
And that she should go back to sleep.
Inside I screamed, “Go to sleep!”
Or something like that.
We woke, showered & piled in the car.
Lacey & I.
And headed for Gaga’s house.
Where we made scrambled eggs on Iggy toast.
I love Sundays.

How was your Sunday? What’s your favourite way to spend Sunday?

  1. Sunday we good. Hubby had the kids minded by his parents and took me out to lunch : )
Normally, I like to spend Sundays with a picnic lunch at the park and babes snuggled in my arms x

  2. You won't believe this but I looked at my phone at exactly 10am on Sunday and thought of you and took note of exactly what I was doing at that moment.

I was in lovely sunny Coogee lining up to order a coffee with my boyfriend. We'd literally just spotted his favourite Roosters player (Todd Carney) so he was very, very, very distracted.

Sounds like you had a lovely Sunday. Glad to hear you got a little sleep in, and I hope Lacey's tail is better 😉

  3. sunday was at home…all day…playing puzzles and dancing on the hallway mat. Penny has an obsession right now with pulling the mat into the lounge room and dancing on it…i guess it's better than the coffee table!

  4. Sounds perfect. I LOVE Sundays too. Sleep is a problem around these parts too…again. I love this insight in to your life too. xx

  5. Oh, how different was my Sunday to yours! Not bad, just messy. Hubby came home from Tunisia early in the mornin- hooray, hooray! Then myself and three youngest went to a school working bee; lots of dusting cobwebs. The kids had a great time galloping around.

In the arvo hubby and eldest went to cricket presentation, kids messed about and I cooked. Early nights for all, and all of us so much more settled with dad at home.
