Point & Shoot: The first of 2011.

The days were filled with such fun and laughter that she collapsed from exhaustion after each leisurely lunch without any parental effort. She danced, talked, explored and jumped until her body could no longer muster another twist and turn.

After she rose from her nap each day she was ready to go again, recharged and enthusiastic as ever.

It was the first Christmas that she truly understood. She left the reindeer a carrot and fell asleep just before midnight, too excited {as were her parents} to sleep. She woke filled with wonderment, eager to open up her many {too many?} presents under the tree. We watched as she ripped open each present and seemed to like each more than the last.

The days that followed seemed to be her favourite. She was the centre of every one’s attention. She spoke and we listened. She danced and we watched. She ordered {with a wee thank you and please} and we obeyed. She was in heaven.

She worked up such a sweat that it caused her hair to curl. She smiled so big that it made our hearts swell. She jumped and danced where ever she went that it made our souls smile.

We had the best break. It was super lovely having Hubby back and relaxing {although there was a little bit of work involved too}.

How was your silly season? Have you recovered yet?
