Point & Shoot: Aliens In Bondi.

O

ver the weekend, there were aliens in Bondi.

No, not those sort of aliens. Well, if there were, we didn’t spot them. We did spot this lovely couple in our sky yesterday at Festival of the Winds.

Every man and his kite seemed to be in Bondi yesterday. We took a stroll down to the beach, sat on the grass, let the sun kiss our skin {mine is a little too kissed, tsk tsk} and watched the kites in the sky.
How was your weekend? When did you get up to? When was the last time you flew a kite?

P.S. Don’t forget to add your link below. Add the link to the your Point & Shoot blog post, not just the link to your blog. And don’t forget to link back to here so that your readers can check out everyone elses posts. x

  1. Oh, how cool! It has been hard times around here lately (my grandma passed), so I was grateful to have just a very normal-type weekend around the house with my husband and son.

  2. I flew a kite on the weekend! We had a kite party for the twinnies' first bday – a glorious beautiful day. I too, got a little too sunkissed though xxx

  3. Love the Kites!
we brought some Gorgeous Kites back from Bali, huge Dragons, Monkeys and Butteflies!
They havent taken flight as yet, but when the day comes, the sky will be full of Colour..

  4. i love flying kites!

Santa bought Zac a kite for christmas and we get use it a lot actually, with this crazy melbourne weather that often includes perfect kite flying winds!

    gorgeous pic!

  5. I forgot that festival of the winds was on.. I am so out of touch since we moved from Bondi to the suburbs!!
We stayed home this weekend and made lots of fresh pasta (like 10 metres!!) YUM!!

  6. You need to tell me: is the festival of the winds at Bondi worth it? I've long wished to go but I know what an awful bottleneck Bondi is and I've been stuck for HOURS in traffic trying to get in and out of there. I've resisted the kites (which I love) due to past experiences, but… was it worth it? x

  7. I would love to take my little guy out to fly a kite! The last time we played with one there was no wind, and no room. He just ran with it dragging behind him. I love your photo!
