e were teased with a little Bondi Summer this weekend. We only got a couple of hours of sunshine before a storm rolled around. This time of year is really busy in Bondi, if there’s a sunny day. People can smell Summer and they rush for the beach {as you can see in the photo above I snapped on Saturday}, presumably either to work on their tans or for a dose of vitamin D.
One days like that {where the sun disappears and the clouds roll in} we can hear it unfold from home. The people flock back to their cars and zoom back home. And that glimpse of a Bondi Summer is gone.
