e prepared for the forecast cyclone conditions by donning our daggiest clothes and snuggling inside. We waited and waited, until it felt like we were wasting away blue skies and potential play time. So we escaped to the playground to burn off some toddler sized energy.
We took the ball and kicked it around, running after each other. Most of all we played pretend, it’s what our little toddler likes to do best. We found magical tickets and took adventures through the trees, over the hills and down low in the grass. We fought tigers and sharks until we found our way home.
And the cyclone never came. Thankfully.
What did you get up to?

Yes, it was an anticlimax – hubby took down our shade sail and moved all the pot-plants… meh, that will take a month for him to get the motivation to put them back…
Now it's raining and pouring of course – I have to walk three kids to school (and back) !
Lovely angle. Your little girl is looking so grown up – does she have pretty nail polish on as well? Super co-ordinated matching nail polish and ball!! (or maybe just the pretty photo colour).
Hope you have a nice week. Lou.
Haaa Chantelle, we've pointed & shot about the same thing this week ~ Ball fun with our 2 year old bubbas ;o) Your pic is so gorgeous – so arty & I love how you've captured the moment perfectly! So wish I was good at taking photos lol. Have a great week!
xo.
Sounds like fun!! That photo is great. Love the spikey balls. It was grey and miserable all weekend here.
the feeling of this photo is just so grown up… she is getting big too quickly!
ooo look at her pretty little fingernails! Too cute x
We braved the weather too – glad the cyclone avoided us all 🙂
Love the nailpolish!
We had a very quiet weekend. Thankfully, soccer was cancelled. That sounds awful, but lugging boys out to cold and wet soccer fields with siblings in tow is not my fave thing!
The boys were experiencing a bit of cabin fever by Sunday. We had to make a trip to the shops though, so at least they got to run around there like crazy!
xxx
Oh la la – is that pink nail polish I spy on little Laceys fingernails! Cute!
Such a cute pic – love the pink fingernails 🙂 I am so behind in your posts – am off to catch up!! Hope you have a wonderful start to your week x
