I truly thought moving to the country was going to be a bit of a drag when it came to shopping. I prepped myself for it, and comforted myself with the fact that I’d still have online. My dear friend online. I have to be honest and say I’m completely surprised.
My local shopping centre in Sydney didn’t cater to the plus size, because it was an elite-type mall and they just didn’t house shops that catered for the curvaceous. My local shopping centre here is kick-butt in that way. And when it came to kids clothing, well it had expensive and super cheap {read: fall apart after one wash} but nothing really in-between. The shops here are brilliant. I’m a happy camper shopper.
It was just recently that Charlie & Me became friends. I walked in for a browse one child-free day, and came back with a pair of bright pink jeans, a few tops and some hair-clips.
So when Charlie & Me got in touch and wanted to do something cool together, I jumped at the chance. I wanted to do something different and thought that a Pinterest-type competition might be a cool way to go about it.
