have been eagerly awaiting these photos for what seems like forever. You know when you really want something, the time between the wanting and the getting seems like triple the time it really is? Like how long it seemed between Christmases as a child…
My talented friend Rowe took these photos one afternoon in February. She was heading back home after a weekend in Sydney and we planned to have dinner together. We’re both craaaazy about sushi. Like crazy could eat it every day and never get sick of it. It’s only one of many things we have in common.
Rowe is always filled with enthusiasm and energy and suggested that in the hour we had before dinner we grab some balloons and take some photos. So we we picked up some pastel shaded balloons and had some fun. Lacey was in a mood. She was super cheeky and did exactly what we didn’t want her to do.
The thing I love with Rowe is that you would never know that she was misbehaving on the day. Her photos always seem flawless, easy… and beautiful.

im sorry it took me forever to get them to you… i have been so busy with work shoots i havent had time to even look at personal stuff. i still have so many personal shoots to edit – audreys easter photos (she wore bunny ears!), our fishing trip and audrey dressed up in my wedding dress are at the top of the list when i find a few moments. have no idea when that will happen!
