1. Making my 10-year-old laugh by emailing her “I'M THE SMARTER PERSON IN THE WORLD”

   “IT'S SMARTEST, SMARTIE” she replied.

2. A choc chip muffin, silly I know but this day has gone from bad to worse to laughable at work. Looking forward to the gym to work out this stress. Hump Day Hooray!

3. i laughed with a friend i thought i had lost all hope of reconciling with. Nice.

4. Trying to make christmas decorations on kinder duty this afternoon, the kids were laughing with me….I was terrible at it!

   For me: Lacey is in love with our tree. She loves taking all the decorations off and piling them up in one big clump on one lone branch. I don't know why, but it makes me smile. I'm sure in a few days I'll be crazed by it. Oh well.

6. The ice cream that I'm sitting and eating after my measly 800 gram loss at WW tonight. (It's WW ice cream)

7. Thinking about decorating my Xmas tree tonight while drinking mulled wine and watching Elf is making me smile today 🙂

8. Oh today I saw one of my favorite students in the hallway – I overheard him say the funniest thing last quarter – he had no idea that I was listening.

   You see, my school makes a huge production of the dress code. Students are always getting carded, sent home, asked to change, etc. This student in particular has probably been in trouble for sagging his pants, I am pretty sure of it.

   Anyway, many weeks ago I heard him immitating a principal in the hallway. He yelled down the way to one of his friends,

   “Excuse me Miss Blankity-blank, You know I'm going to have to dress code you for having too much bootie in those jeans, too too much bootie.”

   It was hilarious. Every time I see him I think of it. It was a good for a chuckle this Wednesday morning. Totally made me smile.
