New Year, New You : Giveaway.

I love that the New Year (yes, it deserves capitalisation, it’s very important!) always brings such hope. I feel like anything is possible, and it is. It really is.

So to celebrate the approach of the New Year I am giving away a brand spanking new copy of my favourite journal. It’s from a funky Swedish inspired store here in Australia called Kikki-K.

I use mine to jot notes in. Things that inspire me. Things that I want to remind myself. Quotes. Blogs I like. Things about Lacey. Pretty much anything.

The possibilities for using it are endless. You could use it:

*to jotting down things you are grateful for each day

*for taking a Polaroid picture of your outfit for the day and pasting it in

*as a food journal

*for keeping lists

*keeping 365 of your favourite recipes

Anything really!

So how do you get your hot little hands on it?

Simple. Just reply in the comments section with your answer to this question: What one thing do you most want to achieve/do/see/etc in the Year 2009?

Anyone can comment/enter. The winner will be selected on the 23rd of December, 2008. Good luck. I look forward to hearing what you hope for in the New Year. xx

  1. Super idea and fab prize Telle!

Of course my answer should be a successful pregnancy, however I’m going to take a step backward and say achieving the weightloss and physical fitness needed for a successful pregnancy is my number one aim for 2009!
    Bring it on I say!

  2. I would like to try to say no sometimes. I’m a big yes i can do everything person and i do get quite stressed out about it!!
I would also love to take time to pamper me more this year 🙂

  3. I want to achieve absolutely nothing. I have enough from today on my plate and so when tomorrow comes – then I will let yall know. But for TODAY – I just want to continue smiling and keep my joy!

  4. 2009 is a year that I want to embrace life more. I feel I’ve been on auto-pilot much of this year so I’m hoping to clear out the cobwebs, get excited about life, treat myself a little better and enjoy.xx

  5. my new years resolutions are
:: to say no a bit more
:: take care of myself my mind my body and in return show my kids how to love themselves.
::live for the now not tomorrow
::clean my house of things that we dont use or need that we have kept for a rainy day cause that rainy day may never come and there are lots of other less fortunate as me that could use these things….
    ::lastly watch less TV!!!

  6. Well, I’d really like to get started on a little brother or sister for my little dude – but we need to get the green light on my husband’s movie first. So that’s the thing I most want to see in 2009 – because it’s the golden ticket to all the other lovely things we want to do!

  7. For 2009 I want to loose weight. We got Santa photo’s done on Sunday and I hate the way I look. I looked better last year 2 and a half weeks after having a baby. I am determined to get under 100kgs. That is my goal.

Oh and maybe having another baby!

  8. My immediate answer was lose the last 100 lbs. But…after deeper reflection, I think what I want even more than that is to continue to learn how to take care of Me.

  9. Good morning Chantelle!

That is the cutest little journal ever!

My goal for 2009 is to run my first ever 5K – oh man, I can’t believe I’m putting this in writing. I used to drive to the mailbox and now I wanna run a 5K? Whowouldathunk?!

  10. Such a gorgeous giveaway 🙂

My goal for 2009 is to be fit enough to walk the Kokoda trail with my husband in October. I started training for it a month ago, and have a LONG way to go, but I’m confident I can do it!

  11. Righteo, if I don’t win that I’m definitely buying it!

My goal is usually weight loss…but it never happens. Instead, for 2009, I want to play more with my girls. I think that’s much more important – and more fun! And it might just help me lose weight too…

  12. My husband and I want to go skiing next winter. Given that I’m about 30kg above a weight where that’s possible (without imminent death!), there’s my goal right there. He has to lose about the same too.

But before losing all that weight, to start with I want to Make A Start to lose all that weight. Even a few kg would make a noticable difference to the way I feel right now. So that’s my goal.

    Make A Start.

  13. Firstly I just wanted to say what a lovely blog you have Chantelle.

    Secondly my answer to “What one thing do you most want to achieve/do/see/etc in the Year 2009?”;

In 2009 I want to become more comfortable with myself, inside & out. I want to learn more about myself and what it is that holds my interest, that fires up my passion, and learning to let go of what other people think about me.

    Merry Christmas!
