Monday On My Mind.

H

ello to you. And you.

If you’re looking at the photo above, I should assure you that I haven’t let Lacey start smoking… we went to Carols By Candlelight last night. And no, it wasn’t held in a carpark. Midway through the carols it started to rain so we packed up as fast as we could and head home, but once we got to the carpark I realised that I didn’t get a photo of her first Carols By Candlelight… so I plonked her down in the grass and took a photo. She was exhausted, it was a disaster, but I got a photo.

The carols was quite fun, except hardly anyone sang. I remember when we used to go to carols as kids everyone sang. And now they use battery powered little candle shaped torches instead of real candles. Carols have changed.

Today I am revealing that little secret I mentioned on Friday. I know you haven’t been able to sleep all weekend due to thinking about it. So hang around today, and you’ll find out… {If you’re on Twitter, I’ll share a little photo to tease you during the day}.

How was your weekend, my friend? Mine involved a sick Hubby, Christmas shopping, an allergic reaction, an hour at a local medical centre, lots of Hi-5, carols {where Russell Crowe’s wife, kids and family sat next to us} and biscuit baking.

Tell me all about your weekend. xx

  1. we went to carols on friday night and it felt like the kids and i were the only ones singing and waving candels… even the friends i went with just gossiped all night!!! I find it wierd as the whole reason you go is to sing chrissy carols, anyway we still had a fab time! The ones at the domain in sydney are by far the best and usually everyone joins in there. Hope hubby is feeling better i have had a sick one too, not much fun when they are sick!
    bee xx

  2. Stop teasing us with this secret and tell us already!!

The radio in my car broke over the weekend so I've been getting into the Christmas spirit by singing carols to myself at full volume as I drive.

  3. Weekend was pretty non-eventful, but I am sooo feeling you on the forgetting to get a photo of all the fun stuff. I'm usually so wrapped up “in” the moment, I forget to record it.
