Letter to Lacey: Twelve Months.

Our beautiful little girl.

This past month has been the best. We’ve all been getting sleep which makes the most amazing difference in all of us.

You’ve become a real little person. No more little baby.

You walk around exploring. You copy things we do. You just love to kiss us. Either on our face or blowing kisses from across the room. You’ll be pottering around and then you’ll wander over us and lay a smooch on us. It’s completely adorable and it makes me so happy.

It’s nice having you in our bed. When you wake in the morning you’re so content. You’re all smiles and ready to play.

You sing. You dance. You eat all types of food. You chatter away. You play with your toys.

When we bring you food you think it’s all hot and you blow on it to cool it down. You understand so much, and it’s the cutest thing EVER!

You still are lacking in the hair department. It’s growing. We see it getting thicker. It’s just taking it’s time.

This past year has been the most wonderful ride. I just know this next year is going to be even better. You’re so much fun to be around. You’re always making us laugh. And laughing makes the world go ’round.

We love you Miss Lacey. xx

Miss Lacey really is the most adorable little girl.

I cannot wait for the day when Amelie wraps her arms around my neck and lays one on me. For now I do all the kissing 🙂
