Jumping Dadda Flash.

G

ood morning. And it is a good morning, isn’t it? I know it’s Monday and all that jazz, but it’s a lovely Monday where I am. What about you?

We had a pretty quiet weekend. Hubby was on morning shift so he was up and at ’em before the sun was up, and Lacey and I had lazy mornings in bed. I know that will shock you, but I slept in. All the way until 6:30am. Crazy, right? I actually intended to get up early and do some things, but I woke to Lacey on both Saturday and Sunday patting my on the shoulder saying: Mama, Mama.
I have to laugh at this photo above I took for Point & Shoot. I was lying on the grass taking photos of Lacey running towards me, when Hubby asked if I could take a photo of him jumping over Lacey. Action shots? Ok.

So I knew I probably had one chance of getting this shot in one jump, and I got it. Hubby came hobbling back to see the photo, and claimed that he’d pinched a nerve in the process. We had to laugh, but he’s still in so much pain today. That’ll teach him to be a fun Dadda!
How was your weekend? I’d love to have a peek at it. If you’ve got a blog {don’t forget to link back to here}, or Facebook put the link below.
I hope this week turns out to be a good one for everyone. Fingers crossed. xx

  1. Great shot. The look on Lacey's face says it all really.
We had a busy busy weekend. First footy game of the season (there goes my lie ins for awhile!) and Luke's birthday party. He's 8 today! Where does it go? Will try and get a photo up later.

  2. Love the pic!
I could not imagine ever calling 6.30am a sleep in, lol. I reluctantly get dragged out of bed by my girls at around that time and dream about being able to sleep in until 9am.

  3. Awesome photo Chantelle! Love Lacey's happy little face 🙂 Glad you got a 'sleep in' – it's funny how your definition of a sleep in changes when you have little ones 🙂
