Hump Day: What’s putting a smile on your dial today?

I don’t particularly like Nutella, but I know others that fondly adore it and this print by Candidate is pretty darn cute… so stumbling across it today has made me smile, along with big tea cups full of green tea and toasted ham & cheese sandwiches.

Wednesday is such a funny day, isn’t it? Before noon you still feel like you’re on an uphill climb towards the end of the week, but after lunch the light is shining and it’s only a downhill slide into the weekend. Perhaps that’s just me?

What’s making you smile today? What’s getting you through this hump day?

  1. What's making me smile today is the fact that YESTERDAY was my hump day, tomorrow is my FRIDAY and it's only going to be a half day at that!! 😀

  2. I have achieved a LOT today, not least a HUGE pile of ironing. Huge. 137 items of ironing. No kidding.

And I have made Nutella Fairy Bread for afternoon tea for my 3 littlies – cannot wait for them to be home…

  3. l have just worked 4 days in a row and today l get a full day with my 2 year old daughter. We went to the library and she wanted to play with every other child that was there ( so cute). She is now having a rest YEA and l get to play on the computer ( housework can wait). So my hump day has been great!!!!

  4. Two words to describe what's making me happy today: Easter. Eggs. Experiencing a massive sugary chocolatey high right now xxx

  5. Dyeing easter eggs with the Bear and watching him get all creative and arty in our newly rearranged, craft friendly front room!

  6. What's making me happy today is that, every day.. regardless of hump day.. brings me one day closer to seeing the smile the Easter Bunny brings him on Easter.
    🙂

  7. The Sydney Family Show, that's what! The boys and I had a ball with some friends there today. Good fun and nice for a hump day! You should check it out with Lacey… although she may be a bit let down after Disneyland and so might you for that matter ;o)

  8. I've been flat-out busy for weeks and today was the pinnacle of that. I don't normally work on a Wednesday and spend the day with the Tsunamis instead, but today I had to keep some things moving at work while I also looked after 6 kids 7 and under… phew!!! The hump was a big one today, Telle, but I made it out alive!!! x
