{hello!}

Hello. Hi. Hey. Howdy.
How was your weekend?
Me? Mine was filled with blue skies, sunny days and my two loves right by my side. I actually had such a lovely weekend. Hubby had the weekend off (he has every second weekend off) and I love when he is home. We always spend the weekends laughing… and that’s just the way I like it.
This is just a quick post to say hello, and to see how you’re doing and then I’ll be back a little bit later to reveal who won the giveaway. Sorry to keep you waiting!
I’d love to hear what your high and low for the weekend was.
My low for the weekend was … absolutely nothing. Oh, I got vomited on Saturday night … and it wasn’t from a big night out partying … I think Lacey just had a full tummy and it didn’t sit right. I’m used to it though. It’s funny how we just adapt as parents. There was no freaking out from either of us. We just swoop in and deal with it.
My high for the weekend was … lots of things. Finding great new parks for Lacey (and us) to explore. I lost 2kg at Weight Watchers. The sun was out and was wonderfully warm and delicious. I got to spend lots of time with the ones I love. Too many highs to write down. That’s a high in itself.
I’ll catch you all a little later on. In the meantime share your weekend with me. Go on. I know you want to. xx

  1. You had a Great weekend! Wow you lost 2kgs this week? FANTASTIC! How much have you lost all together now? I am also at WW and have lost 9kgs now but with still more to go. I Feel great and stopping breastfeeding actually helped me lose weight, plus running helped too! My weekend was spent with my hubby, brother, brother in law and daughter. She got spoilt by her boys all weekend!

  2. Good on you losing 2kg!! You rock!

    My weekend:

Highs – a sleep in to the magical hour of 11am (yes you read right!!) Felt like I'd caught up on a month's worth of sleep!! Then a wee nap on the couch with my not so snuggly almost 3 year old the next afternoon – bliss! Watching said almost 3 year old delight in her see through umbrella out in the rain – so cute!

Low – none to speak of!

  3. Sounds like a wonderful weekend.
This weekends highs and lows are from the same event. We went out without the baby for the first time while he stayed at home with Nana and Pop. We had hubby's work function. The high was the amazing teppanyaki dinner and that bubba slept the whole time we were gone. The low was the one or two too many drinks I drank and the head ache I had most of Sunday! I haven't had more than a glass or two of wine in ages (pregnant and breastfeeding) and I think I had forgotten about how you feel the next day. Or maybe it is because I am getting older…
    🙂

  4. Wow – 2kg, congratulations that is a great loss 😀

I had a lovely weekend too:
High: lazing away a couple of hours in the sun eating yummy greek food with my beautiful husband on Sunday.
Low: hmm, I don't know. Nothing!
