Giveaway: WillowBlu Handbag Heaven.

M

y shoulders ached, and my neck felt like it needed stretching out a whole 10cm or more. It was a nice combination of stress, sleeping with a toddler in the same bed {which means sleeping in the same position and not moving all night, for fear of hitting said little person} and using a constant heavy handbag. I booked in for a much needed massage and saw the dismay on Ingrid’s face as she saw my oversized handbag.

She explained that we {as in us humans} hold any emotional baggage on our left hand sides, in the shoulder area and any tension from stress in our right hand sides. Having a heavy handbag doesn’t help that right hand side either. She requested I lighten my load, as it’s the one thing I can control.

I thought I’d weigh my handbag before decluttering it, and was astonished to see that it weighed the same as my own toddler. So a decluttering I did go.
After the clean-up my handbag holds phone, keys, pens, business cards, nappies, wipes {I always lose that nifty wipe holder}, coins, little people juice, bobbypins, purse, handcream, USB, dummy, and eyeliner.
When Dy from WillowBlu handbags asked if I’d like to have a look at her handbag range, I jumped at the chance. I needed to downsize because seriously if my bag can hold it, I will fill it. It’s not rare for me to carry 3 magazines, a 1 litre drink bottle and anything else needed for me to survive on a small island for a fortnight.
I picked the lovely Abby in tan after looking at, and loving the whole range. When it arrived I fell in love. And I’m not talking it up. It’s seriously beautiful. Everyone that has seen it, including Hubby can’t believe the quality. It has that beautiful leather smell {because it is leather, der!}. And they’re affordable. I’ve bought bags that weren’t leather for the same price {under $150}, CRAZY!

Dy is so super lovely that she’s offering up a new handbag for one of the lovely Fat Mum Slim readers to win. Up for grabs is the lovely Lotus in rose red {which in real life is a lovely cherry red colour}.
All you have to do is leave a comment saying what you like about the Lotus handbag, and it could be yours. I’m happy to post overseas, so I’ll open this competition up to EVERYONE!
Good luck. xx

  1. What?! Chantelle, what a fabulous giveaway! I am DYING over that braided strap. Oh, how I would love to win you Lotus bag. Fingers crossed!

  2. I love the braided strap and the color.

I have never thought about the fact that I will fill any purse with whatever I can and to quell this problem I need to get a smaller purse. Who knew?

  3. Ooooh, gorgeous! I have a serious bag addiction. I really do. Bags are like Mummy armoury for me. “I have a very cool bag. Do not mess with me.”

PLUS, I love to match my bags with my shoes. I am not a “red shoes no knickers” type of girl, but still…….for this bag…..

  4. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Willowblu handbags (this is NOT an entry BTW) and own the Abby Tan myself, super stylish and just gets more comfy as the weeks go on and the leather softens…good luck gorgeous girls, YOU WILL LOVE THESE BAGS!

  5. OH that bag is so beautiful. I'm addicted to bags. It's a horrible expensive habit that I'm trying to kick. But I don't have a red one! Yet…. x

  6. Wow, what's not to love? A gorgeous bag (in RED… yay!) that looks like it would hold the stuff that I tote around in a gorgeous yet practical way. Absolutely loving the braided straps and the perfect degree of slouchiness… I am so over stiff bags that don't relax in the way I like.

(Oh! Did you check out the Annabelle purple skirt bag? I'm in love with that, too!)

  7. Hey Chantelle. Long time reader of your blog. I love it. It starts my very early morning at work (ssshhh!! Its research!!) in a happy way, and reminds me to let the stress fall away, hug my kids and husband, and love them to bits when I get home from here. I especially LOVE your Letters to Lacey. Make me teary for the time slipping away every time!
    As for the handbag….one word….Lush!!
I love its textural look, and the soft touchability of it. My gorgeous (me, biased?) 2yo daughter loves to copy me with my bag and I can see her stealing this one and lugging it around as her favourite colour is show stopping red!! Cant really blame her, its my fave too!
Also gotta love a bag which is gorgeous but functional as it looks like I could smuggle my current textbook in there for a quick sneaky study session!
Thankyou for a wonderful blog, and for being a bright ray of sunshine in my very early office hours!
    Love Kelly

  8. What a gorgeous cherry red colour! Great to throw over your shoulder and give you an instant brightner and pick me up when your day has not exactly started as planned, as mine has not this morning :(. Now if only I had a gorgeous bag to throw over my shoulder people might not notice the not so gorgeous bags under my eyes (hehehe)!
P.S Have only recently discovered your site and really enjoy it. Love your letters to Lacey.

  9. Wow!!! What a give away!

What's NOT to love about that bag?
    1. It's a gorgeous shade of red, which will fix my problem of never wearing a colour (when you're always in a hurry it's so much easier to co-ordinate neutral colours and just accesorise with colour, at least that's my excuse)
    2. It's leather! Hello! Will last forever and just get softer and acquire a lovely worn in look as it gets older.
    3. It's a very decent size, which is a must when you have a toddler & no longer need to carry nappies etc and so don't need a big nappy bag, but do need to carry water bottle, comfort blanky, snacks, little toys etc
    4. Speaking of size, it's big enough to hold a 800ml stainless steel water bottle, without that being the ONLY thing the bag will hold!
    5. Still on size, it will hold a decent size diary, instead of a miniature one that won't fit ANY info on each page, I've tried a small diary, I can't handle it, need at least a5 in size!
    6. It sits up nice and high, so when it's on your shoulder and carrying a certain someone around, little fingers can't get in there and start throwing all the contents of said bag on the floor!

    Love that bag!!

  10. I'd love to be entered into this competition.

You know what? I just love that it's red! Everything I have is monochrome – I need some colour in my life 🙂

    x

  11. What a beautiful giveaway. Thankyou! The thing I love about this bag is the colour – such a gorgeous shade of red. Can't believe it's leather!

  12. Hey gorgeous Telle! Loving this gorgeous shade of fire engine red…..would go perfectly with my new non-mummy skyscraper heels in that same colour! And this bag looks so lovely and slouchy, in a good way….like an old friend you carry around with you….

  13. i love the one that you have. its gorgeous. actually they are both gorgeous.

i did head on over and have a look a while back and i would love to purchase but i currently love my urban originals {usually retail for $100} and i found it on ebay! brand new!

so. of course i have to enter this competition.

how did you know i love red bags?

    xx

  14. Oh my. It's RED for a start (you know who utterly pathetic I am when it comes to red) and I love that it will fit 'both' my lives in it – that is lipstick, phone, wet-ones and kiddy snacks!!

  15. oh wow what a fab giveaway! I just love, love, love the cherry red – I tend to have alot of black and brown so an injection of colour would do me the world of good 😀

  16. I think this bag is fantastic. It looks big enough to hold everything and you wouldn't have everything falling out everywhere when you are looking for stuff.

  17. The colour – I love the colour – red is soooooo my colour. And leather! I love leather bags, the smell, the feel, the durability. Apart form that, the whole thing just looks gorgeous and I so need a new one! Thanks for the giveaway!

  18. While that colour is stunning and would break up my all black winter wardrobe, I love love love that it comes with a detachable strap so if need be I can wear it across my body and have two free hands when toddler chasing, our current favourite shopping sport!

  19. I literally own two bags, yes Im tragic hahaha but I just can never find anything I like but this….ooo la la I love the colour it just POPS and the braiding on the handles very very cool!

  20. <3 what a fantastic colour! I love the platted straps they are gorgeous.

I am a new follower of your blog and just wanted to congratulate you on a fantastic blog, I love reading it in the morning over breaky. Thanks for the good read.

  21. oh please pick me… i need a new hand bag so desperately, especially one this lovely! what i love about it the most are all the details… the buttons the weaved strap, the zips – its perfect!

and oh how i love the colour! i can see myself wearing it now!

  22. one word…. RED!

it will go fabulously with this new red dress I got for over 50% off!!!

now all i need is somewhere exciting to go and a babysitter for the ratbag princesses!

  23. What a funky but classic bag! I love it! it's casual, yet very stylish and classic. Just the look I go for – how did you know? 🙂
Thank you for putting on competitions like these, so thoughtful!

  24. That strap is stunning – I think it's what differentiates this bag from other totes I've seen recently.

I am the queen of decluttering – there is no way my handbag ever gets the chance to accumulate unnecessary stuff. No Ma'am, no sore shoulders for me!

  25. WOW did someone say giveaway???
i have a thing for bags.. you could never go with another bag.. i thought i had every color but come to think of it i don't have RED so this will be perfect. Xx

  26. Holy Smokes! How did you not keep this for yourself 🙂

What do I love about this bag? The fact I have been on a bag buying ban…. and seeing these two bags has almost made me crack.. almost!

    xx

  27. First of all the colour is beautiful!
I too have a little person who always has good intentions of carrying her favourite toy/handbag/something that HAS to accompany us to the shops, but 10 minutes in and she is ready for me to carry it – the size of this bag would make this a much easier job.
    What a fantastic giveaway!

  28. Its the colour, the gorgeous, soft, red leather that gets me. I had a beautoful red leather handbag that I bought myself in London just before Amy was born. I used it as a hold-all for nearly two years, the best non-nappy bag ever and then the zip broke and sadly I had to accept that it was time to let it go. Sigh. This bag would make that loss slightly easier to handle!

  29. Now what girl doesn't love a fab handbag, I love the colour and it looks like the perfect size for me.

I am the opposite I need to upsize!!!! I am just carrying around a clutch as my kiddies are abit older now I don't need as much but have discovered I really still need to carry a handbag so to win a new handbag would make my year!!
    xx

  30. I like the little side pocket – just perfect to holding keys that always disappear inside my handbag. This feature would be especially helpful when you hare holding a heavy sleeping baby and trying to find your keys to open the front door without waking them – I'm sure you've been there.

  31. OOOHHH I am in love not only is red one of my fav colours. Just imagine how amazing this would look wandering around New York with that over my hair. I had the same problem as you – My bag was just too heavy for me… I felt so free once i decluttered 🙂

  32. OMG – It's RED! What's not to love!? A *real* red handbag; not orange red, not burgundy, not nearly pink, just RED! I love all things red and have to force myself to buy things in other colours. <3

I love the detail in the braided straps, very vintage.

  33. oh my goodness!! I have been looking for a new bag for ages and to see this one – and in red!! Bless, my fave colour : )

thanks for the beautiful post and opportunity x

  34. Ohhhhh… a leather bag… This has been on my birthday/Christmas/Motehrs Day list for years! And in red… Divine. What a fabulous giveaway!

  35. Hey Chantelle,

I had the same discovery yesterday when shopping in the city, carrying around my LeSportsac baby bag. Although it's super cute with little asian cartoon characters print, I think I've outgrown it. Even Abigail has outgrown it!

Time for a new bag I think. Even if I don't win this gorgeous piece, a new bag is definately in order.

    xoxo

  36. Oh my! What a gorgeous colour! I am going to a wedding in Melbourne in June, and that bag would be perfect with the dress I am wearing!
*Fingers and toes crossed, Chantelle 🙂 *
    Kathy x

  37. I recently found the WillowBlu website, and have been eyeing off the bags… trying to work out how to convince hubby that I need another bag! The prices are unbelievable for leather!!

My favourite colour is Red, so This handbag definetly appeals to me. It also looks big enough to hold the essentials without being too bulky…. Oh, how I wold love to win this bag…..

  38. Hey Chantelle,

    Thanks for this wonderful comp!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this bag. I love anything that is a tote design, leather – nice soft smelling leather and the red color is gorgeous. Its a great size will fit anything a girl needs to and it sits nice and high – so feels like everything is safe!

Oh I so want this !!!!

Your doing a great job Chantelle love your blogs, so inspirational.

    Thankyou.

  39. God, I love handbags. Full stop!

Because I still have a 3yo, I reckon I could easily fit in a change of clothes for him, including a spare pair of underwear (toilet training – happy days!). And I could still look FABULOUS!

I love your tan one too. Gorgeous. xx

  40. I love the red Lotus handbag..

mainly because its not pink – the colour of the supre bag that i have been using since I spilt a whole 750mls of pump water through my gorgeous guess handbag (it now smells like wet garbage!)

I have learnt my lesson.. 🙁

I put everything in my handbag.. let me tell you a story about the things you might find in my handbag..
I once was visiting a friend who at the time was ironing. She was quite disappointed by how dirty and black her iron was.. It was staining her clothes as she went “I need to buy Iron cleaner!” she proclaimed
“Funny you say that” I replied and I went to my lovely guess bag (RIP) to pull out nothing other than some Iron aid… don't ask why i had it .. i have no idea why .. but i remembered seeing it in there.. I think everyone in the room was shocked when I pulled it out.

    Leesh
    xx

  41. Ooh, pretty. I really love the gorgeous braiding,
And it being red makes me want to shimmy!
If I had it my friends would be wardrobe raiding,
So, please, gimmie gimmie gimmie gimmie gimmie!!

    Hehe, it IS very pretty….

  42. Oh Telle I {heart} it!
    I real handbag, something I haven't had for nearly 4 years and given I am not sure I can go back to the small bags of old it would be the perfect addition. Add to that the fact it will match my new red shoes {that arrived yesterday}

  43. Oooh, I love handbags, especially gorgeous red leather ones like this. It would perfect in my collection 😉

  44. What do I like about the Lotus handbag? The colour! Definitely a statement handbag right there. The size also looks perfect – not so small that you can't fit the essentials in and not too large so that the kitchen sink fits in too!
    *Crossing fingers*

  45. Wow, what an amazing bag. I'm such a black girl I never branch out with handbags but this is what I need – a beautiful RED bag to brighten my days! Looks gorgeous and I'm sure it feels the same. After realising i'd stooped to new lows yesterday- going shopping with my toddler and an Enviro shopping bag I promised myself I'd save for a new handbag. Fingers crossed!
Thanks for the chance and such a wonderful blog. xx

  46. What's not to love?

The red – a great splash of colour for winter, the braided strap – a cute little point of difference.

I seriously love this bag. Beautiful!

  47. My email address has been redbootsbeth for as long as email has been around for so you can guess that red leather is a fav of mine!

  48. I am loving the colour and the straps, would be a lovely addition to my over-sized bag collection, and a must have colour for winter!

    Great giveaway!!!

  49. I am so desperate for a new bag (my old one is soooo heavy that I have taken to carrying around a lighter tatty old beach bag!) and this one is truly gorgeous. Love the colour and the braided strap adds such a lovely hint of fine detailing.

  50. Ooh I want this bag!!! I just love the yummy red colour- it is so happy. I also love the size- I too am very naughty overfilling my handbag- I even carry my Macbook just because it fits!
I need to downsize as I am now also carrying my four week old baby girl.

  51. Wow! Amazing handbag. That shade of red is my favorite yet I somehow do not have a purse in that color! I love the braided straps and how soft the leather looks.

  52. Thanks sooo much for giving us the chance to participate in this fantastic givewawy!!! I live in Melbourne and mostly wear black (of course :))so this awesome colour would really brighten my day.

    Julie

  53. I never miss a blog entry of yours and was over the moon to come across your give away! As a aussie mum of a 4 year old, 14 month old and #3 due in 3 weeks im forever living out of a nappy bag or enviro bag! I cant even remember the last time i bought myself an actual handbag! The main man and i went out for dinner 2 weekends ago, Child free and i matched my black dress with a nappy pouch i'd made myself! A 'kicking myself' moment where i wish i had a decent bag! So, a newbie would be a lovely addition to my not so fashionable maternity wardrobe!

Keep up the awesome work with your blog! xx Nicole

  54. I would love to say I love the braided straps or the handy outside zippy section… but I can't see past the fact it is RED! Oh my how I love red – especially in a handbag 🙂

  55. What a find! I'm a huge handbag lover but I always um and ah so much over bags that I rarely actually purchase any. My current bag is on the out as its endured my neverending supply of library books and paraphernalia which a leather bag is sure to do with aplomb. I love, love, LOVE the colour as my work wardrobe is generally a bit dull and I can see that zip up pocket ebing perfect for my phone and train ticket, two things I'm always scrambling to find! The braided straps look comfy yet stylish and lets face it, with a Lotus on my shoulder how could I not start my days with a smile?

  56. This bag is gorgeous…the colour is perfect but what i love most are the twisted knotted straps…they make me want this bag even more!!!
Thanks for the chance, God bless the winner of this stunning bag!!

  57. I try to keep my bags small because otherwise I will fill them with everything too. And the weight of the bag itself is very important and shouldn't be ignored when buying. I'm shameless, I hope I win because I want a new bag but can't afford one! 🙂

  58. OMG its red. Perfect

It doesn't have horrible metal bits that keep breaking and tearing out the stitching when you have more than 2 things in your bag.

And its the perfect size for concealning a pair of knitting needles, a ball of yarn and a pair of scissors (this is VERY important in a handbag!)

  59. I loved looking at the contents of your bag, very similar to what I cart around every day. I love the braided strap and the size of the bag. I've been carting everything around in our baby bag since my last cheapie broke. The problem is that the baby bag blocks most of the opening at the back of the pram and my poor little 3 month old doesn't get to see much. We've got the Phil and Ted double pram (to help you visualise) 🙂 I would love to win this gorgeous bag but if I don't I will definately invest in one as soon as I start work again. They have so many gorgeous designs and look like fantastic value for money!

  60. I am loving that it isn't a nappy bag! I so desperately need to carry a bag that doesn't look Mumsy, but still does Mumsy things, such as carry nappies and wipes. It's been a long time since I had something un-mummy.
    I love the red!

  61. The reason I love it is because apart from being stylish and looking super nice to touch (i like things that feel lovely), my friend Alice is attracted to anything red and this bag reminds me of her and that's why I like it.

She has packed up her life in Sydney, quit her job and moved to Tasmania to look after her Mum while she has chemotherapy. I know she would adore this bag more than even I would – and I'm a big handbag fan.
    x

  62. Oh my gosh, that purse is just close to perfection :D! If someone had told me 20 years ago that today I'm a mom of 4 and I'm still carrying a silly tote bag, I would have just laughed… well, life is full of suprises 😀 Honestly, I would not mind upgrading my tote bag to a purse though…..

  63. Hi Telle

WOW what a wonderful giveaway for your blog and lucky readers.

I love the colour. It really grabs people's attention. I also love the stylish design of the bag. Being a working mum of a toddler I don't always feel so stylish, often a little frumpy but this would transform any outfit.

    I've got my fingers crossed

  64. It really is a very lovely handbag. I could write a big list of the things I love but the top two would be that I can see how soft that leather looks AND that gorgeous colour, reminds me of my favorite nail polish- cherries in the snow.
    Thank you!!!!!!!!

  65. Hi Chantelle,
I love the bag. It looks so natural and comfortable (like a fav pair of jeans) but still something you could use as an anywhere bag. I am still using a baby bag and my little girl in nearly 2 … so it's definately time for an upgrade. I like the size, you can still fit in all the bubba stuff, but look like a woman again, not just a mum! The red makes me feel happy too! xox

  66. Ooh – what a lovely bag. I'm currently trying to accept that my bag is dying. This would help me face the truth. It's so pretty 🙂

  67. Hi Telle,
just getting into your blog reading alomst daily now (it's the first one I have ever read) and liking so far. And OMG you have giveaways – holy moly.
    To win gorgeous red bag?
    Hmmm,
I really dont know what I could say since I haven't seen one IRL to know it's features, but a RED (check) LEATHER (check) BAG (check) three of my favourite things in the one description can't be all bad.
I need pepping up badly at the moment so would love to win.
Keeo up the fab work – I am hooked.
    Cheers, Josiejo
PS, it took me 20 minutes to work out how to add my comments for this comp – I am such a gumby!

  68. Well like many women I just love a good handbag!! And this lovely one certainly ticks all the right boxes!! Colour (check), Uniqueness (check), Funkyness (check), will make others want one too (check), plus I guess it has to fit all of my usual handbag essentials (check). LOVE IT!!

  69. The colour and just the design overall – the strap length looks perfect and the braid looks like it'd prevent the strap from constantly slipping off the shoulder. The bag has structure, but isn't boxy-rigid structure. Outside zip for things that need quick and easy access!!

  70. I seriously need this bag! It's the perfect size, and I love the the braided strap. I already have the matching shoes too!

  71. Oh my goodness, that is a gorgeoussss bag! My favorite part? the COLOR! Also, that is looks smooshy and soft and lumpy, which is a must-have with my handbags! Thanks so much for offering this giveaway, how fun!
    xoxox Holly

  72. What a wonderful giveaway and a gorgeous bag. I am moving away from the mummy bag to the my bag – and am looking for inspiration. This bag is just so comfy looking (not sure if this is the right word)- it is stylish annd casual – just beautiful.

  73. Lovelovelovelove that colour!! Such cute bags, the straps are too cute!!

I always keep my handbag completely tidy and light, I cannot see how anyone can be bothered carrying something so heavy around all day. That being said, I dont have kids… haha.

  74. Oh my! I *DO* love a handbag!

My favourite bits would have to be the colour……… and the plaited handles……….. and how soft and melty it looks.

    Love, love, love.

    Linda

  75. I love the happy red colour of this bag. After having some bad news this week, the bright colour is just the thing to bring a smile to my face.

  76. Oh I lurve it! I could happily ditch the nappy bag for this beauty. Love the colour, love the braided strap, love the look of the interior love that it doesn't come wiht a change mat or bottle carrier 😉

  77. Hello beautiful!

What a stunner. That bag is perfect for my 3 main uses – work, uni, socialising. I won't have to change bags for any event, as I can fit my work notebooks and 'reading on the bus' material, my MacBook will easily fit for uni days, and I can throw a scarf, gifts, anything I need for the weekend/breakfast/drinks in there.

The colour is divine and I love the shoulder strap option and the handles.

    Want. Need. Covet.

  78. My mum would LOVE this bag! It's exactly her colour that she loves and that pocket on the side is just what she needs so she can actually find her phone when i ring her!

Also, can't wait for our project to get up and running Chantelle!

    x

  79. I seriously ADORE this bag. How perfect is the colour? So very classic…..This will be perfect for toting the twins essentials around in a super stylish way! Baby dinosaurs, random rocks, nappies, wipes {where do those nifty plastic packs go?} leaves, pawpaw ointment, mobile, wallet & keys….

  80. A perfect mummy colour! Watch out toddler grub you won't get to this one!
Plus it matches my new red shoes :).
    Love your blog
Amanda from Perth with a 23 month old boy + about to pop no 2. x

  81. Wow what a gorgeous bag, what do I love about it?? I love the fact that its not a nappy bag as thats the only bag I have carried around for the last couple of years!!

  82. Wow – So many things to like about a big luscious red handbag that can fit at least eight of my favourite lippies and glosses, camera, phone, a couple of pairs of sunglasses, and whatever else I am feeling I need to carry around with me! My favourite part of the bag (aside from the ample size) is the rich colour and the beautiful braided straps.

  83. I just stumbled upon your blog and have very much enjoyed the read! I also love the handbag, so decided to leave a comment in hopes of being the lucky recipient 🙂

  84. I love that little zippered section on the side. The one thing I hate about handbags is fumbling around to find all the important things – phone, keys etc. That little zip section looks very convenient!

  85. I can't go past the colour, it's just gorgeous. I find it impossible not to collect red items…bags and shoes especially 🙂 Also the size looks handy without being too `Mary Kate and Ashely Olsen'!

  86. i love that its RED. Red, red, red.

oh, and big. I have three kids. one if them is very small. two of them always need drinks of water. one of them always needs a tissue, or a notebook, or a bandaid, or a muesli bar, or snscreen.

that equals a mum that needs a big bag. just like tha RED one!

thanks for the chance to win x

  87. Oh devine!! What a beautiful bag and a fabulous give-away!!! The red is amazing, I love it and I can just imagine the beautiful leather feel… ooohhh….

  88. LOVE IT, gorgeous colour & for a true Melburnian who is always in black this bag will definitely be the highlight of my day!

  89. Ok I have a confession to make: I'm a beige girl. And grey. When I was in grade 3, grey was my favourite colour.
Eight months ago I turned 40. And conceived…yep, all on the same day. Blooming I'm not – it's more of a creaking and groaning. I'm humongously pregnant, the grey hairs are starting to come in, and that whole 40-thing is really hitting me (mainly in the butt and thighs, which look like they have fainted.) So I was just thinking the other day that after this baby comes I'm going to ramp it up, finally. I was going to get some cool shoes but I saw this bag and I'm thinking that it will be perfect. “Now there's a woman who knows what she's about”, people will say. Now I just have to find a blog with stripy black & white leggings and a purple hat – with a feather. Rachel

  90. wow! what do i like about that bag? i'll tell you what i like about it — the color! never mind the rest of it which looks soft and gorgeous and easily fillable! the color, my dear, the color! woo!

  91. hello Chantelle. thank you for your beautiful & inspiring work. I have been thinking about this bag for a few days now, actually missed my exit when drving & thinking about the bag. I would love to be the proud owner because my current options are : a) black, shiny (was in pre baby) very neat looking bag or b) stuffing my things into my little ones Thomas the tank engine backpack. I dont want to search thru vegemite sandwiches & 15 pairs of spare undies anymore xx

  92. Hi Chantelle!

Why do I love this bag??

As for the other 136 other people before me have stated… I also love THAT bag because red is the colour meaning energy and fire and right now… I do very much need some energy. Energy to carry me place to place….

    Thanks for the great offerx

  93. I love the strap, that is such a pretty feature, and I adore the colour.

How timely given our rabbit has pretty well made my favourite handbag his very own meal. HMPH!

  94. I love the colour and the style. I've not seen anything just quite like it. I love that it is clearly not mass produced and that the seams are evidently quality workmanship but without a gauche label for label's sake.

  95. Oh My Goodness…!
How can I only pick one thing I love about this beautiful bag?!
I'm going to pick the detailing – all that perfect stitching soothes and takes my A-Type personality to it's happy place 🙂

  96. I'm in love with the color!! Definitely a good color to use for Spring now. I've never won a giveaway before and I'm hoping this will be my 1st! 🙂

  97. I need a new bag. As a teacher I need somewhere to store all the red pens and chewed pencils! Maggie x

  98. Lotus. Lotus youre the bag…
Youre the bag I've never had
With 4 young girls and “things” to hide
You're the perfect colour, shape and size!

I think having a Lotus in Rose Red would be the PERFECT accessory!

    Have a wonderful day! :o)

  99. i love everything about the bag..the size the colour, the ipod pocket but wolud give it to my mum whose been having a rough time and this would bring a smile to her face

  100. What I loooove about this lotus bag is that it's my favorite color, and that it has a large capacity for holding lots of stuff, and the beautiful braided straps! And that the straps can go on your shoulder…that's a must! Love it! Thanks for the chance! 🙂

  101. This bag is gorgeous. My bag is falling to bits so I am in desperate need for a new one (the reason it has deteriorated so much is that I, like you, have a toddler but unfortunately I haven't done the decluttering that is badly needed and my bag has now felt the consequences!) I also love that it has a zip on the side which is so handy for keys. I am forever searching through my bag trying to find keys very frustrating! I also love that leather smell!

  102. Well I have had twins and so I have carried my fair share of heavy bags around with everything you need x 2 so now that they are bigger any bag i choose needs not to be big enough to fit in any of their crap, just my stuff for now! Oh yeh and the bag looks awesome and RED is my favourite colour!
