The weekend is almost upon us. Can you smell it? I can feel it.
I am hoping for health and happiness. They go hand in hand really. Lacey has been poorly all week, so I am hoping this weekend is full of rest and getting better. We have a farewell on Saturday so if she can be better by then, I’ll be a happy Mama. We’re making Magnolia Cupcakes to take along. So delicious, and indulgent. I’ll share recipes and photos next week.
What are three wonderful things that happened to you this week?
Mine are:
1. I won $112.80 in lotto. That’s a good start. $90 million goes off next week. It’s got my name all over it.
2. I found a really cool piece of swedish type furniture on the side of the road, in council clean up. It’s going to be perfect for Lacey’s room. I can’t wait to fix it up and give it a coat of paint.
3. My birthday present arrived from my Big Sis. It had the most beautiful card and clothes (and shoes). I can’t wait to thank her in person. Well, on Skype.

my things are:
1) i did a 10 page 30 minute presentation to my Vice President and his whole organisation and blitzed it after being so scared to death.
2) i found a frikken car after 6 weeks of hire car expense!!! 1997 Porsche. SO EXCITED!!
3. i;m in love with myself. for the first time in so long, i feel a real love for myself that i didn't even know i didn't have. real love, around real people, in a really nice new part of my life. here's to a new strength and real love.

My three things are:
1.Gorgeous danish enamel necklace that I ordered for my best friend's 30th birthday tomorrow arrived in time. Yay! I know she's going to love it.
2.My twin boys have been kicking up a mega-storm this week. It's the first week I've really been able to distinguish them from each other. Magic, I tell you!
3.It's been chilly up here in Brisbane (yes, it's true) which means hot water bottles and sleeping curled up together. Bliss 🙂

3 things? damn, it was a tough week. ok.
1. I got some much needed space from someone and it helped a lot.
2. I had my 1 year wedding anniversary.
3. I had a couple days off to regroup.

1. Found the long lost matching pair to one of toddler's super cute socks, and we all know that NEVER happens
2. Found a $50 note in the pocket of a jacket I hadn't worn in ages
3. Found a massive bar of dark Lindt chocolate in the fridge which I'd forgotten about for weeks.
Oh, and our new fish is still alive after a week. Can I have 4????
