Everyday Everybody: Kate.

This is Kate. Kate is a new Mama and a blogger over at Mamma Musing. Isn’t her daughter beautiful? (Oh, and Kate’s a bit stunning herself!)

Thanks for being part of the Everyday Everybody series, Kate. If you too would like to play along. Please email me at fatmumslim@hotmail.com

What do you never leave home without?
My keys!

Who are your best female and male friends?
My best female friend is Claudia. We’ve been friends for almost as long as I lived in Melbourne. She was my maid of honour at my wedding. When I had Amelie she checked in on a daily basis in the first few weeks to see how I was. Even on days when I wasn’t up to holding a conversation Claudia called to remind me she was there for me. Best male friend is my husband.

Who would you like most to meet?
Gee tough one. I’ve been exchanging emails on an almost daily basis for about eight months a gal called Tanya who lives in Queensland. She had a beautiful daughter a few weeks after Amelie was born. I’d love to meet Tan.

When you look in the mirror, do you like what you see?
Yes

You win the lottery – what’s your first purchase?
Shoes glorious shoes!

Are you allergic to anything?
No not a thing.

How often do you get drunk?
Gosh it has been a long time since I’ve been drunk. November 2008 with my husband, my sister Chrissy and her husband Simon. It was a crazy week of drunkenness involving the races, champagne and wayyyyy to many cocktails at the Hairy Canary bar and Acqua Vino.

When did you last tell a lie?
Ummm today. Just a little white lie. It went something along the lines of…husband: Is that new? Me: This old dress. No I’ve had it for ages!

Have you ever inherited any money?
No. I’ve always dreamed of a long lost Great Aunt leaving me her fortune and castle in France but alas it hasn’t happened.

Who is the nicest person you know?
Gosh I know so many nice people it is hard to narrow it down to just one. I would say my mum pips a very long list of nice people in my life.

Thanks Kate. That was a lovely read. xx

  1. I think it’s great that Kate said she likes what she sees when she looks in the mirror. Of course she should, she’s gorgeous. Such a healthy attitude, and one that I wish I shared. Perhaps I need to up the gorgeousness though 😛
