Everyday Everybody: Jessica.

H

ello you. Are you ready to meet someone new?

This someone new, isn’t new to me. I went to school with Jessica. We’ve known each other since we were knee high to a grasshopper, or something like that. So I am now introducing you to Jessica and her beautiful little daughter. Have a read about her here, and then pop over to The Fruit Loop Diaries to read more.

What’s your favourite cheese?
Bega strong and bitey cheese- all the way! I’m not into weird cheeses like Camembert, feta or ricotta. EEEEW!

What are you proud of?
Tricky one! I’m proud to have had my dream job before becoming a Mum. I was a Beauty Therapy Lecturer when I lived in Darwin and loved every moment of it. I’m proud to have such a loving, supportive family. I’m proud to have been through, and conquered one of my biggest fears- labour. Most of all, I’m proud to be a Mum.

What ambitions do you still have to fulfill?
I’d like to be at a healthy weight and maintain it for life. A big ambition, and probably not all that achievable for me. Especially with my love of food and dislike of exercise. I’ve always wanted to learn how to surf. It was one of my 2009 New Years resolutions. Time is ticking away…

Who’s the coolest person you know?
Another tricky one. You’re killing me here! If I have to pick just one person, it’d be my mate, Marion. She’s an individual, ambitious, intelligent, fun to be around, generous, caring, honest and an overall cool chick.

What will you do when you retire?
I’d like to be a grey nomad with hubby and see the parts of Oz that we’ve always wanted to see.

What’s the fastest you’ve ever been in a car?
I think it was around 250km/hour. We were on our way to Darwin, and as we crossed the QLD border into the NT we saw the “no speed limit” signs and made the most of it! My knuckles were white from holding onto the steering wheel so tight!

If you could, what would you change about your partner?
Not a lot, I love him faults and all. But I would like him to be nicer to his family, and be a little more patient. If he learned how to do massage and give me one every day, that’d be nice too!

Have you ever had food poisoning?
No, luckily. I’m pretty fussy about what I eat, and am always suspicious about those self-serve meals. Anything that looks, smells or tastes weird is off my menu.

Why did you last cry?
The same reason I’ve cried a lot in the past nine months. I was tired. Very very tired.

Who did you last go to the cinema with?
Probably hubby. I don’t go to the movies much. I can’t even remember the last thing I saw or when it was. Boring, I know.

Thanks Jessica. If you too would like me to ask you some weird and wacky questions {ie. be part of the Everyday Everybody series} then just pop me an email at fatmumslim@hotmail.com

Pop back a little later today to get to know Rhian. xx
