Easter Gift Guide

We love Easter in my family. It’s probably got everything to do with us being a bunch of chocolate addicts, but it’s also a lovely holiday to celebrate together. I’ve put together a fun Easter gift guide so you think outside the box {egg?} and get your loved ones the best chocolate gift possible. The best thing is, some you won’t even need to leave the comfort of your home to buy.

Whether you want to treat the little kids but monitor their chocolate intake, or buy a bunch and share them amongst your children’s mates, these pops go down a treat. Available at David Jones.

By big kids I kinda mean Hubby here, as this is his all time favourite… but don’t all kids love freckles? This one is from Darrell Lea.

This is my chocolate of choice when it comes to Easter gifts. I always put in an order for a white chocolate Lindt bunny. It’s just enough, and never too much.

This guy is called the Cheeky Rabbit, and can’t you see why? He’s the most popular bunny at Perfection Chocolates {it’s where celebs buy their chocolate in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney} and deliciously perfect too.

Have your brothers and sisters been good this year? Reward them with these chic{k} little chocolates, and while you’re there grab some for the neighbours, your cousins and yourself too. Available online from The Chocolate Box.

Give Gran {ma or pa, or let them share it!} the OMG factor with Max Brenner’s OMG egg. It’s filled with honey roasted macadamia nuts, juicy sultanas and coconut shavings. It really does make you go… OMG!

This is so fun, isn’t it? The flat pack chocolate Easter egg {a cheeky block of chocolate} is $8.50 and from Chocogram.com.au. If ever you worried about it melting or breaking during delivery, never fear! If either of those happen they’ll send through a free replacement. Easy.

You’ll be the popular kid in the office with these hot cross bun chocolate. Just open a box or two and share them among your workmates and they’ll be oohing and aahing over their cinnamon-y goodness. Buy them online from The Chocolate Box.

These are almost too good to eat! They look just like a real egg, and feel like it too, and are filled with chocolate and hazelnut praline. They’re hand painted and so so beautiful, so save them for that someone special who’ll appreciate them. Available online from The Chocolate Box.

Celebrate with the whole family with more chocolate! Caramel swirl mudcake {OMG!}, chocolate clusters and cupcakes too! All deliciously affordable from Coles.

What’s your favourite chocolate? Do you celebrate Easter?

  1. My favourite chocolate is from Belle Fleur in Petersham. They know how to do Easter!

Though I'm always partial to Cadbury Creme Egg.

Those chocolate hazelnut praline-filled eggs look incredible!

Easter is my favourite holiday too. x

  2. Love, love, love this post! Thank you! I'm partial to a Lindt bunny too. Though, for nostalgic reasons, I always ask for a Humpty Dumpty egg!

  3. What a lovely idea Chantelle! Thanks for sharing a gift for everyone. I think I might go and purchase an OMG egg from Max Brennar's. (Actually, I think I say OMG everytime I'm there!)

    Happy easter!

    xx

  4. Great Post! I am a sucker for Lindt bunnies as well. Although I can't go past a Red Tulip humpty dumpty. They have always been my favourite since I was a little girl. Infact any creamy chocolate will get my heart racing!!!
    Happy Easter x

  5. Awesome post Telle. I live in a house with a husband and daughter who don't eat chocolate – neither of them like it. Weird aren't they.

I love the sound of the Max Brenner OMG egg.

    OMG I need one lol

  6. It's the Max Brenner one for me, possibly tomorrow. Thanks for heads up on the online options, I hadn't heard of these before. Yummola.

  7. Ooo yes! Have to agree Chantelle, Easter is my favourite time also. I find it so much more relaxed than Christmas/New Year and the weather is generally alot nicer too. This Easter gift guide is lovely, thank you for all the tips :o)
Gorgeous pics, I like the look of that hundreds and thousands egg… so colourful and crunchy!
I'm always happy with a standard lindt bunny though, simple perfection!

  8. Hi Chantelle!

Ooooh. . . love all those chocolate choices.

And I love, love, love your photography. I'm in northern Ontario Canada and we don't have green grass yet. What a great idea to use green in the hope for spring as a background!

    Kudos.

  9. I love Cadbury as you always know what you are going to get! Nothing worse then buying chocolate and it doesn't taste good. I also recently tried Guylian Belgian Chocolates and they were very yummy.

  10. oh wow… that OMG egg!! I need to get one!! And I agree – who doesn't like sprinkles?! LOVE the Darrell Lea egg… om nom nom!!!

There goes my resolution for not spending a fortune on Easter chocolate…….

  11. It’s not that I want to replicate your internet site, but I really like the pattern. Could you tell me which style are you using? Or was it custom made?
