Details.

There have been a few requests for more details on things from Lacey’s party, so I thought I would share.

The invites I made myself using photoshop and a photo of Miss Lacey.

The Tutu is a great Etsy find. It is from the shop: I Luv U Tutu Much. Everyone commented on it and thought it was the best thing since sliced bread. And since you can’t eat the Tutu, I guess that’s pretty big.

For Sydney siders the cupcakes are from a little party shop in Double Bay called Pret-A-Party. There are the most delicious cupcakes EVER. I’m usually not a big fan of icing, but these… me likey.

I bought the boxes from eBay. They were really cheap and easy to assemble. The stickers I had made by sticker me chic. She has other great designs in her shop. I knew what I wanted so requested a custom order. Easy peasy.

These biscuits are called Earthquake biscuits. They’re delicious, but very messy to make. The recipe is below, if you dare.
Earthquake Biscuits
200g dark chocolate
90g unsalted butter
115g caster sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp vanilla
200g plain flour
25g cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
175g pure icing sugar
Melt chocolate and butter. Stir in sugar. Add eggs, beat well. Stir in vanilla. Sift the flour, cocoa and baking powder into a large bowl. Add chocolate mix and stir well. Cover with plastic wrap and put in fridge for an hour.
Preheat oven to 160 degrees celsius. Line a baking tray. Place icing sugar in a bowl. Form balls from dough. Roll in icing sugar. Place on tray and bake for 10-15 minutes. They will be soft when they come out.
Enjoy. xx
