While everyone was out partying last night and having a good time, I was being all studious and geeky… launching The Clever Cookie School of Blog.
So many moons ago I had dreamed up an idea to start an online school of blogging. I started jotting down ideas and getting excited, but I was working full-time and had a two year old on my hands, so it got put on the back-burner. Then one night my girlfriend Rowe and I were hanging out, no doubt eating chocolate, and we decided to change it up and do a course together. Clever Cookie was born.
The course will be sharing everything I know about blogging, that I’ve learned here on my blog as well as in my time as an Social Media Editor for Kidspot. You can see everything we’ll be teaching in the four weeks here.
The course will be filled to the brim with everything blogging an social media, and then the icing on the cake is some really great photography lessons too.
Rowe is the most clever photographer I know. She’s a natural light photographer who has taught me everything I know. And I’m still learning from her. She explains things in a practical way that doesn’t hurt my head. She’ll be teaching us all how to take better photos, whether on our phones or with our fancy cameras.
She’s also a social media manager in her spare time, so she’ll be sharing her insights which I think you’ll really like.
Among all that important info about blogging, Rowe and I wanted to talk about how we work, which is following our gut instincts, choosing happiness, and being led my passion. So there will be lots of those gems in there too.

I’m so glad I was home being boring and geeky too so I could sign up straight away! Although I’m sadder because my kids were at a sleepover at Grammys! It’s sad when you have a free night and sleep is more appealing than doing something fun!
