ello! Good morning!
I’m enjoying the regular blogging conversations and am hoping you are too. Today I thought I’d ask my fellow bloggers this: What’s your most popular blog post? Why was it popular {do you think?} Share the link in the comments if you like. I’d love to have a read.
I’ll answer the question in the comment section too. x
Hello Chantelle..
I was wondering who else was posting at this ridiculous hour!
I guess I would have to gauge my most popular post by how many comments it received.
I did a post on my top 10 tips for visual merchandising for craft market stalls, and it received a fairly good response. I'd say it catered for those beginning in this field, and not so much for those who find display second nature.
People said it was helpful…here is the link if anyone is beginning the 'market circuit'…as I'm sure a few crafters are!

Have a great day 🙂
I just posted about “girl crushes” and I was surprised at how many women commented on my post. I guess the appeal comes from sharing something with people you normally wouldn't. I think everyone loves learning new things about others – especially fellow bloggers as the internet can be so informal. It makes people seem more real.
Here's the link to my post: http://mommajlemonadestand.blogspot.com/2010/11/girl-crush-got-inked.html
I think it's interesting that my posts with the most comments aren't the ones with the most most hits when I look at stats.
In the last six months mine with the most visits have been a post about some local waterfalls:
http://cohesive-pieces.blogspot.com/2010/08/jocko-falls.html
And then a poem about my daughter's seventh year: http://cohesive-pieces.blogspot.com/2010/07/azia-rain-turns-eight-today.html
I think people were interested in both the photos and the idea that I let my boys jump off cliff for the first one, but the second is interesting because I write those for all my kids but none of the others generated nearly as much traffic!
I have two posts that had the equal amount of hits as each other.
This one because I think women really do have a lot of body issues and this is a post about pointing out some of my positives
http://healthandfitnessmum.blogspot.com/2010/10/body-love.html
And the other is about my anxiety and a success that I achieved through counselling
http://healthandfitnessmum.blogspot.com/2010/10/dont-cry-over-spilt-coffee.html
I have only one that went crazy.
Not much posts but alot of people did view it.
It is about body love & being proud of what you have.

Hi Chantelle!
Well, stats-wise my post about Sunny's first haircut got the most views…which I thought was kind of strange, but I did link it on facebook so that probably did the trick.
http://sunnybuma.blogspot.com/2010/11/chop-chop.html
Comments wise I think it was a tie between welcoming our new bubba a few weeks ago and one from way back in Feb when we got our new house. I guess they were both pretty big events in our lives = very popular!

I'm intrigued to see what yours is!

My new-ish little blog only gets a few comments each post. I've found I get more comments on personal problems or issues I'm posting about. Which I guess is to give support, which is lovely really. The most comments I received went on a post I wrote about my Mum dying.

Thanks for your generosity with this post, Chantelle. My most popular is from last week(http://lifeonplanetbaby.blogspot.com/2010/11/my-name-is-jane-and-im-blogoholic.html) – it seems to have struck a real nerve out there in Blogland. Quite a few people have started bloggy rehab with me this week – most amusing. Hopefully a bit helpful as well. J x
In truly depressing fashion my most popular post (in terms of views) was a guest post. Way to make a girl feel wanted! All about the terrible twos:
http://goodgoog.com/2010/toddlers/toddler/terrible-twos/
*sigh*
But if I just look at non-guest posts next is a post about gentle discipline: http://goodgoog.com/2009/toddlers/discipline-punishment-reward/ or by comments this one about my announcement: http://goodgoog.com/2010/pregnancy/getting-pregnant/the-arch-nemesis/
My birth stories have always been really popular.
I had my son 11 days ago and his story was record breaking in terms of number of views.
If you would like a read

Oh, Cool! I've just discovered the 'Stats' tab so…. In terms of views it's:
http://ashleycomrie.blogspot.com/2010/10/if-you-have-daughter-please-read-this.html
And, comments (THREE, wow)is my most recent post about Oprah.

Easy, my post about my daughter's Mermaid party went OFF.

my top “commented on” post in my blogs history was one on two scrapbooking layouts I'd made… it was quite sometime ago now. At that point in time I had quite a high rotation of scrapbookers visiting my blog: http://alliejwood.blogspot.com/2009/03/life-must-be-lived-forward.html
my blog isn't very big or busy but apart from a giveaway i had my two most popular were
1. diy buffet
http://ledamaedesign.blogspot.com/2010/10/diy-buffet.html
…….i think people love do it yourself stuff {like me} and i think the tranformation was pretty exciting
2. was actually my first ever point + shoot i did with fat mum slim
http://ledamaedesign.blogspot.com/2010/06/point-and-shoot-selling-our-house.html
……..maybe because it connected to your blog hehehehe and i do think people like to see how other's live etc {photos of my house}
i do enjoy your blog thanks for asking lisa xx
http://babyderoach.blogspot.com is just a little unknown blog so I don't get a lot of comments as a rule but when I posted about my 2 year old and his independent ways I got record hits and about 8 comments. I guess all us mummies are trying to balance letting them learn and be independent with our inate desire to 'mother'
Here's the link http://babyderoach.blogspot.com/2010/10/noah-do-it.html
Three years ago when my first son was stillborn we also got lots of positive comments and kind words – mostly from family and friends.
Maybe now that I'm here visiting Little Miss Popular I might get some more hits(wink wink) I guess I should join in point and shoot but I'm never organised enough on a Monday morning.
Thanks for giving us a chance to share our corner of the web.
I had to go and do a trawl to see which has been my most popular ever…..and judging by comments it was this one here:

(It was around ways to stop emotional eating……)

I play along with Point & Shoot as well as Things I love Thursday and always find my linked posts get the most views. It's nice to play along & see new places each week!
http://herheartcriesfowl.blogspot.com/2010/11/purple-haze.html
Purple Haze is my most clicked on..but I don't get many comments at all really..just lurkers I guess! But I blog for me to get my thoughts out so that's ok!
Thanks Telle! Xxx
My most popular post I guess was one where I showed off my (non existing) baking (it really wasn't baking) skills, making rainbow doughnuts…
it's not highly commented (my blog does not have many friends yet 🙂 but a lot of my facebook friends kept asking me how I did it and if I still had any and if I'd make more 🙂
so I guess that was nice..

Hi Chantelle and fellow bloggers!
My most popular post is called “Because we'll always have something to talk about.” Since posting this I've had several emails from women who have said it inspired them to find the 'right' partner which has been really lovely to hear. It's very much written from the heart.
http://nataliemurray.blogspot.com/2010/07/because-well-always-have-something-to.html
I'd love for you guys to check it out!

My most popular post was the launch of the Tiffany's yellow diamonds collection:
http://misskitty-catgoestotown.blogspot.com/2010/07/tiffany-yellow-diamonds-launch-sydney.html
However… My most commented on post is a three way tie. I'll only post this one though:
http://misskitty-catgoestotown.blogspot.com/2010/06/shoe-kitty.html#comments
My most popular post – not as far as comments on the actual post, but facebook and emails and general reaction – was the Search for Grandpa – The post turned into a four part series telling a story about my mum's search for her father.
I really enjoyed writing it and was really glad it got such a fantastic response.

Mine would be my Post on Baptisim and Private Schooling.

Hi,
My most popular blog post is on my blog for teachers/ homeschoolers/ mums who love to give teaching opportunities at home
It is about word walls (And word walls are not just for the classroom- imagine an interactive wall at home in the study or play room full of words for the kids to read and learn)
Here is my post
