h no, I’m not talking about the salty sandy beach waves that you might think here. I’m talking about hair. Beautiful hair.
Get ready to get jealous. Jealous from the tips of your toes all the way up to the mediocre hair {well mine is mediocre anyhow} on your head. Emily, from Cupcakes and Cashmere, is the sort of girl you fear introducing to your boyfriend {or anyone} because she’s perfect. She is stunningly beautiful. She cooks. She makes things. She writes. She’s stylish. Her wardrobe is uber extensive. Everytime I head over to her blog I’m and more, and more in awe.
Emily also does tutorials, on things like beach wave hair like above, and on the perfect smoky eye. Before I stumbled across her hair tutorial, I’d tried doing my hair in the cool, non-effort wave look. I failed. Miserably.

Her blog is lovely! thanks for adding another must read blog to my list. I will be trying these waves for an engagement party in two weeks, i think i'll need to practice though, turning my ringlets into beachy waves will be tricky.
