  1. You get someone to ask you what you’ve eaten for each meal for the last couple of days, going backward until you stop hiccuping. Having to focus on remembering makes the hiccuping stop somehow.

  2. Take a sip of water (don’t swallow), hold my nose, head back mouthe open, then swallow the water.

    It makes a weird sound but usually works 🙂 My dad told me this when I was about 7 and I still do it!
