am so snowed under at the moment with lovely, busy things and my heart is so sad that I don’t have wonderful things for you to read here. Instead I am sharing a few of my favourite things at the moment {and I promise more substantial reading in the weeks to come}.
I am loving… planning a holiday. It’s been years since I planned a holiday, and never in the middle of the year. I’m looking forward to holidaying when it’s not Summer, and it’s not peak time. I’m looking forward to being a tourist in a town that’s not my own. Right now, I’m enjoying dreaming, and researching, and planning.
I am loving… the chill in the air. I can feel Autumn now, and I can even feel Winter on it’s way. Yesterday morning when I went for my walk it was a brisk 15 degrees. Still there were men running in just their budgie smugglers and runners. I couldn’t help but smile.
I am loving… blonde hair. I’ve loved having my hair back to it’s natural mousey blonde colour, but I am looking forward to going a little bit blonder later this month. I miss it.
I am loving... soup. Any flavour. Any texture. ‘Licious, as Lacey would say.
I am loving… crossing things off my to-do list. Last week I was on the verge of a brain explosion {due to having my finger in every pot, being sick and just trying to do it all} when I emailed my girlfriend to let it all out. She told me to write a list and get it out of my head. I did, and I immediately felt so much better. Crossing them off makes me so happy.

Loving being up at 5.26 am with my SLIPPERS ON! Autumn is HERE when my slippers come out. And I agree on
the soup thing. xx
Loving my my kids and bedtime snuggles. I love waking up with a little arm across my back- even though I pretend to make a fuss about sleeping in your own bed. I can't get enough and I know the time will soon come when they will sleep the night through on their own:-(
What a 'licious list!
I am loving..
+ The cold weather. Even though I've ALWAYS been a summer person, I think I'm glad that the steamy, stinking hot days have ended.
+ The fact that my birthday is in exactly one week. Yay!
+ Banana smoothies. Mmmm.
I am also loving the awesome autumn weather. It's what makes it my favourite time of year. Clear blue skies and a chill in the air makes Sydney look its best. It's invigorating.
And school holidays! Less people on the roads and no school kids on public transport. Yay!
Absolutely loving having my lad home after *two whole looooong weeks* at his Dad's for school holidays. School hols are pretty crap with no actual school kid about!! But he had fun, so all's good.
Loving that it's my birthday on Sunday and we'll be out in the bush with no phones, no technology, nothing but me, the man & the lad. Hoorah 🙂

I love the chilly weather too! I must add buy a pair of slippers to my list {i'll admit they help but not when i have about 5 lists going at once!!}. I must say I am a wee bit jealous of your trip but you sound like you more then deserve it! Can't wait to chat more about our book.

What a lovely list. I just went blonder again – I figure winter calls for a nice cool shade.
I love that the heat has gone from the air too – it's so much more pleasant, and a whole new wardrobe to contemplate.

I am loving the Book Depository for cheap books and my new love of Op Shops. I bought a Witchery beaded silk singlet for $3.99! Also loving the nearly 2yo stage at the moment, just want to bottle her 🙂

I am loving the Spring flowers and sunshine,and being a blonde for sure! And I am loving that top picture with the cute shoes and suitcase.
Lists are also a favourite of mine. There's nothing better than crossing things off them. I always write my lists big, with colourful textas and stick them on the fridge.

I so, so, so miss my blonde hair. One of the luxuries I had to give up to stay home. I love my daughter more and that is what really matters.
Loving soup…I am on the hunt for a good soup cookbook…I need some new favorites, this one looks yummy!
