100 Things About Me – Part 3

64. When I got married I hired a Personal Trainer. I was really into exercising and would find pleasure in running on the soft sand.

65. I wish I could run in the soft sand now.

66. I love swimming in the ocean, but I won’t swim alone.

67. When I was pregnant I wanted to swim every day in my last trimester. Most days I did get a dip. I didn’t ever want to get out.

68. I get scared of people chasing me. I scream like a little school girl.

69. I have only been in love once, and that is with Hubby.

70. I once wet my pants at pre-school whilst standing at the pasting/craft table. A little girl slipped in it and had to have an ice pack on her head. I ended up going to High School with her. I’m not sure if she remembered.

71. I would love to meet Oprah one day. I think she’d be very interesting and have a lot of life lessons and gossip to share. I think my chances of meeting her are pretty slim.

72. My brother is one of the funniest people alive. Every Christmas he has us all in stitches with his antics.

73. This will be the first Christmas I won’t be spending with my family. I’m sure I will feel a little bit of sadness on the day.

74. Every Christmas there is so much good food. We all eat until we need to sleep. It’s not a good feeling.

75. Most of the time that I am blogging or commenting I am either breastfeeding or cradling a sleeping baby.

76. I took six weeks off for maternity leave. I finished work the day before Lacey was born and came back when she was 6 weeks old.

77. Bringing her to work and juggling everything has been the hardest and most stressful time of my life.

78. Lacey hates being in the car. I get anxious anytime we go somewhere. It makes school drop-off and pick-ups very stressful.

79. She is slowly getting better and I know when she’s big enough for us to turn the seat around she’ll be much happier.

80. When I had Lacey in the hospital partners could stay over for a small fee. Hubby stayed every night and we actually had fun.

81. He couldn’t stay the first night as Lacey and I were in Intensive Care because I’d lost so much blood.

82. I was so upset that I couldn’t be in the antenatal ward with all the other new Mummas. Instead I was around really sick women. I stressed all night about bothering them with my new baby.

83. I had my own midwife to help me. I was very well looked after. In the middle of the night she wanted to take Lacey to give me a break. It was heartbreaking to not have her with me.

84. I slept for a short time then climbed over the rails (urine catheter bag thing in hand) and went searching to get Miss Lacey back.

85. I must have looked completely crazy but I felt like I HAD to have her with me.

86. In January my best high school friend is moving back to Sydney. I can’t wait for her to meet Lacey and for us to hang out together.

87. When had both started dating our partners we would meet for dinner once a week. Her partner was away in the Navy and Hubby was away for the aftermath of the Bali Bombings. It was really good to have someone to share that lonely time with.

88. My school reunion is next weekend but I’m not going. We have the Christening. Plus I am friends with all the people I want to be. Facebook has also been good for catching up with everyone.

89. My little sister just finished Uni and has taken on a job at our old High School so she won’t be going to England! Yippeee.

90. I am really big on self-development and positive thinking. I’ve done a really good course and it changed my life completely. My two sisters, Mum and girlfriend went on to do the course too. It was wonderful going to their graduation.

91. My mind can find the positives in most things without me thinking too much about. People always tell me I’m really positive, but I don’t even realise I am most of the time.

92. I want to be back to my Wedding weight by the time I am 30. I’d love to be in Fiji for my birthday. Hubby thinks I should have a party at home. I have about 18 months to think about it.

93. When I am 30 I’d love to be able to run in the soft sand again.

94. When I am 30 I’d love to be thinking about having another baby.

95. When I am 30 I have a hot pair of jeans that I have never worn that I’d love to be able to slip into. (I hope they’re still fashionable).

96. When I’m 30 I’d like have won lotto and moved away from Sydney.

97. When I turn 30 I’d love to be fit enough to compete in the City 2 Surf again.

98. When I turn 30 Lacey will be 2. I can’t imagine what she’ll be like. I hope she has hair by then!

99. When I turn 30 I hope that my Ma has found someone wonderful to share her life with.

100. When I turn 30 I hope I’m still here blogging away. In fact, finding 100 things about me has taken forever. Am I 30, yet?
